My wife and I were looking for a good place to have a quick lunch Uptown. In reading the reviews on this restaurant, I noticed a review commenting about a dog in the restaurant, so that piqued my interest and led me to check out this place. So glad I did. My wife and I love everything about this little place, and we will most certainly return and keep trying new things. Many great choices. The food is fantastic. We split the giant jalapeño sausage croissant and the equally large tomato tart. Absolutely delicious. The ambiance is relaxing and comfortable, and the service is impeccable. I cannot stress strongly enough how good this neighborhood spot is. From the welcoming "hello" of Jack, the warm and wonderful owner, to bright and cheery space, this place is so worth adding to your rotation. Every pastry I've had has been absolutely delicious! My teen daughter refers to their fruit breads as "fire". The blueberry is her favorite - at the moment. We are also hooked on the chocolate muffins. They're huge, moist and so richly chocolate. I had the blueberry scone and the cavatelli bolognese. I think the cavatelli bolognese is only served during lunchtime at 11. I liked the cavatelli bolognese so much that I ordered a second serving to go and gave it to my sister for lunch. I also fell in love as well.
