    Caramel Pecan Cheesecake

Upscale dessert spot right in the heart of Bourbon Street. I tried the pecan cheesecake and it was absolutely delicious.

Everything is so delicious here! The little shop is so beautiful and reminds me of France. They weren't too busy so we were quickly serviced and sat down to eat our cheesecakes. We also ordered macarons for later. We enjoyed all of our treats and look forward to coming back on our next visit.

My girl wanted to stop by hear and grabbed the almond flavored cake.. it was so delicious we bought like 12 more. Definitely coming back for those treats. Ambiance was nice and service was very helpful.

I've really been craving sweets lately and so happen to be hanging out on magazine. I see a bunch of people walking out of Sucré so I hit yelp and decided to give them a try. The space is nice, it's very elegant. The Customer service was awesome the guy in there was real nice. I didn't know what I wanted so I told him to pick. He did a great job with his choices. The Deserts; Blackberry citrus macaroons- Man this was a big surprise I've never really had Macaroons but this had to be on of the best bites I've had this year. Both of the flavors worked so great together. To me you almost get a slight chocolate taste as well. Anywhere I see Macaroons now I'm going to want to try them. Tart Au Carmel Chocolate- If you're a chocolate lover this is for you! Chocolate was very rich and smooth, the dough is real soft, and the Carmel worked well. The tart is real neat you bite it doesn't fall apart it stays in tat. Really enjoyed this. They have a bunch to offer and I will be back to try more.

1000 stars. If I could go there every day I would but sadly I do not live in New Orleans Orleans. I ate at least one red velvet cupcake every day, and I do not even like red velvet cupcakes. This patisserie is amazing, phenomenal and delicious.!

Exquisite sweets with exceptional presentation. A confectioner's delight. Whether gelatos, a wide variety of macaroons, or Parisian-style sweets - an attentive staff can help you pair a coffee with your selections. A tasteful, well-decorated interior. Perfect to continue your date.

We stopped by for dessert after dinner nearby. The space is clean, modern, and bright. The service was efficient but not overly friendly or helpful. The kids went for gelato, and the adults sampled pastries. Everything was delicious.

Sucre' still has it! Delicious pastries, coffees, gelato and chocolates. I'll be a customer for as long as they are around.

Interior 5/5 Presentation 5/5 Service 5/5 Drinks 1/5 Pastries 1/5 Price 2.5/5 Simply put Sucre is a cute place with a great ambiance yet disappointing drinks and food. The price for the pastries were very high yet the taste was stale and disheartening, the drinks were nothing special flavorless and unsweetened. Overall it was not a great experience but the service was good and it did look very cute.

I was in the mood for some type of pastry or sweet. The German chocolate cupcake hit the spot. Service was not rushed. It was a Friday evening and only a few tables were occupied. I lingered over the ice cream choices but the cupcake calked to me. I ordered it with a cafe au lait. It took some time to find a parking spot in this busy neighborhood but I hope to make it back to try other things on the menu.

My friend recommended this gelato place on Magazine Street to me after lunch. We parked on a residential street a few blocks away without any trouble. When I walked inside, I was greeted by friendly staff and an interior that reminded me of Laduree in Beverly Hills, CA, with macarons and stylish desserts on display. I can only speak for the gelato as I was very full from lunch, and the person behind the counter was letting me sample any gelato flavor that I was interested in! A scoop of the regular gelato was $7, and a scoop of the mango or pineapple sorbet was $8, with a minor charge of getting a waffle cone instead of a cup. I love getting sorbet at gelato places, so I went for a scoop of the mango sorbet. I have had better gelato outside of the state, but this definitely hit the spot after a long day of walking in the 100 degree heat in the summer!

Super cute and aesthetic! The macarons were yummy and beautifully packaged. Friendly service and they have a restroom if needed. Lots of seating inside and out!

The drink was $7.14 which isn't too bad, but the taste is great. It's very refreshing and not heavy at all. I came on a Sunday morning and the inside was a little busy, so I decided to sit outside. They have maybe 4 tables outside with music playing so it was quite nice. One more thing -- i really like the cup lid. Sometimes you'll go to a place and the lid makes it really hard to get an even stir/shake but with their lid it's so easy as you just plug the top with a finger and shake. Small detail but it's something I appreciated. The matcha coconut water is a must try!

Dough Nguyener's Bakery -- 4…read more Dough Nguyener's really introduced me and my son to the flavors of ube and pandan... and I still can't believe I went my whole life without them. Like where have I been?! We are forever grateful for that alone. As someone who already loves Vietnamese culture through food here in New Orleans, this place just hits. Vietnamese coffee is a staple for me--not even for energy, but for the flavor. If you know, you know... that bold, strong, chicory-meets-condensed-milk moment. It's rich, it's cultural, it's intentional. And when you start adding things like pandan cold foam? Simple, but it speaks volumes about the influence and beauty of the Vietnamese community here. I respect it, deeply. Now let's talk about that Croffle... a croissant-waffle situation. I went with the Chantilly and berries because... you already know, I'm gonna choose what feels like home every time. The cream was smooth, the fruit was fresh, everything worked. My only thing--personally--it was a little heavy on the almonds for me. Still good, just my preference. We also had The American--eggs, bacon, French ham, hand-cut fries, garlic aioli, and a baguette. I shared it with my son and made my own little sandwich moment with it. Used the aioli as a base, layered the eggs, bacon, and ham... and I feel like that's exactly what it was meant for. Solid, simple, and filling. I've tried a few other things too like the bánh mì and donuts. The bánh mì was good, donuts were okay... not my go-to for that. But that frozen cocktail? Listen... it was TOO good. Took it to a festival with me and between that drink and that sun, I slept the whole festival away lol. Overall, I'll definitely be back. I still want to try more from the kitchen--especially that chicken everybody keeps talking about. This is a great spot for early weekend brunch, late evening studying, or weekday coffee runs. Not too small, not too big. Beautiful lighting. A really good addition to Gretna.

Still a New Orleans Gem - Visitor since 2018!…read more I'm updating my review as of April 2026 because it's important for visitors to know that The Vintage has absolutely "still got it." My last review was in 2020, and I'm happy to report that the quality and atmosphere remain top notch. Whether you are looking for a morning pick up or an evening wind-down, this spot covers all the bases. Their beignets and coffee are a classic must have, and I can personally vouch for their Americano. It is consistently well made and delicious. They also have a great selection of beer and cocktails if you're looking for something a bit stronger. What really sets this place apart, though, is the hospitality. We have always had great interactions with the staff, but a special shout out goes to Jimmy, whom we met this past week. He was incredibly kind and hospitable, truly making us feel right at home. Jimmy if you are reading this, THANK YOU!! If you want a spot that feels authentic, welcoming, and consistently excellent, put The Vintage at the top of your list!

There were definitely folks hanging out and enjoying a Turkish style coffee... I guess either the caffeine doesn't hit them the way it does me or they had no plans to sleep. I settled on popcorn caramel and baklava in a waffle bowl. An employee said that everything was made in-house. The price was standard considering that all was made there. The service was weird.
