Small, comfortable, and quiet place with counter service. Frittata was $13 and just the right size. It has onions, chopped small, peppers, same, small pieces of sausage, pepperoni, broccoli. I added hot sauce for more flavor. Combine with a drink and it was a very good breakfast.

Quite the find. Only 5 mins from where I live... Owned by the Nestico people. It's got a cafe feeling rather than the noisy bustle of a traditional diner but diner food. My eggs, bacon and home fries were excellent. And it was peaceful...this will definitely be my diner of choice from now on..

I would describe E.A.T. as the sweetest secret that you'd only share with those you adore. It's such a beautiful quaint restaurant that's tucked away neatly in the shadybrook plaza. When you arrive, you grab a menu, seat yourself, and once you're ready to order, you simply make your way back to the register and place your order. The wait time between ordering and receiving our food was no more than 10-15 minutes, which allowed me a few minutes to take in just how adorable this breakfast eatery truly is. I ordered the combo #4, which came with French toast, eggs, 2 sausage links, and 2 strips of bacon. My husband ordered their frittata with Multigrain toast. We both enjoyed our meals. My husband's only suggestion was that he would have liked more cheese on his frittata, which obviously is an easy fix. The customer service was spectacular! Prices were great!

Tried out this new breakfast spot and was pleasantly surprised! I went for one of the savory breakfast items on the menu and it was delicious! The asiago bagel was so fresh and tasty. They serve the meals on spoon shaped plates which go well with the restaurant theme. I love the green/brown they chose for the interior design. It was very busy as it just opened and everyone is trying it out but the line didn't take too long. They also have the option to order ahead/to go which will be useful in the future.

Wow! I live in the area and have been wanting to try this new breakfast spot. The waiting is over! Ordered online so I could stay in my pj's. Ordering was very easy. Ordered breakfast burrito and Asiago steak egg and cheese bagel sandwich. Pickup order ready on time! I live close enough everything still nice and warm. The food was unbelievably delicious! The burrito had to weigh at least a pound. The steak bagel also huge! Prices were very reasonable for the amount of food! If you need help locating it's on Macdonald rd not far from OCC. Really cute on the inside. Not overly large but super cute! Go there and Eat some eggs and toast. Can't wait to try other items there!

Fun variety of drinks today. I got strawberries and cream it was amazing

Great visit to eat yesterday. The interior is newly remodeled and extremely clean. It was a Tuesday at 11:30 and it was not busy at all. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My breakfast sandwich was ready quickly and the biscuits were so light and fluffy. Can't wait to go back again!

We had an awesome breakfast at EAT!! This is the perfect place to catch up with friends over coffee or a delicious breakfast. You order right at the counter and they bring your food/drinks right to you. It has a clean and modern but cozy diner feel to it; the hand-painted mural on the wall is so pretty! I really enjoyed my sausage/egg/croissant breakfast sandwich and I am excited to come back and bring new friends!!

Stopped in to EAT for a quick breakfast. We each got a drink. My husband got a full breakfast and I just got a bagel. Both were good. Next time I'd ask for a second cream cheese because they don't spread the cream cheese on for you and I find that one pack isn't enough for my liking. One thing I would change is the ordering area. The cash register is right when you walk in the door so there's not really a place to form a line without standing outside. I like the concept of the place. It's set up for a quick grab and go breakfast but they also have more sit down type meal options if you're in no rush and want something more substantial.

They changed the bread for their French Toast. It tasted odd and has a weird texture. It's also much smaller than before. WTH?

Food was good portion sized. We all felt sick afterwards like msg or sugar was in something. While we were there most orders were "to go".

They have a rotating menu that they list on their website (www.saltcitybread.com). By the time I got there mid-afternoon, they were sold out of their seeded (sesame, pumpkin, and sunflower seeds) sourdough. Plain sourdough loaves are $10 and the sourdough with inclusions are market price and range from $12-14 it seems. I got their chocolate chip cookie (with flaky salt from Syracuse Salt company) for $3.25, and it was delicious!! Thick cookie with crisp edges and a soft, fluffy center. Huge chocolate chips too! The flaky salt brings a nice balance as well. Will definitely be back!

This little bakery is very cute and offers a selection of different breads as well as sweets. The service is excellent and welcoming. These people know how to do bread WELL. I have tried their italian bread, focaccia, and their braided sesame bread-- which are all phenomenal! They have some sandwiches on their menu as well as some coffee available. On this occasion we ordered: - Braided sesame bread: this is my absolute favorite bread here. The presentation is beautiful, and the bread reminds me of a more savory challah with some salted olive oil hints that remind me of focaccia. The softness of the bread and the density make it so satisfying. It is perfect with both sweet and savory pairings. Super addictive--a loaf usually does not last longer than a day in our household. - Turkey sandwiches: we got a whole sandwich split into two halves. Size is pretty generous and one half is definitely enough for one person. This sandwich, although simple, stands out for its high quality ingredients. It came with generous sliced turkey that was not too salty, delicious gouda cheese, high quality mayo, fresh tomatoes and lettuce. The white bread is made in-house and feels super fresh and fluffy. They were super nice and gave us two bags of chips to compliment our dinner even though we technically ordered only one sandwich. We got it split into two separate containers and my fiancé and I each got our own pickle! Perfect option to get to-go. - Peanut butter cookie: I initially wanted to try the chocolate chip but they sadly ran out. However this was actually an amazing cookie. The thickness was perfect, not too thick and not too thin. It had nice bits of peanut butter and the cookie itself was super buttery, soft but with a nice caramelized crust, and not too sweet. There was a surprise Reeses PB cup in there which was very pleasant. Very good cookie! Cannot wait to come back and try their chocolate chip one. Overall, this bakery is a 10/10 and a very great asset to the area. Even though their selection is limited, I think they really focus on doing the few things they do VERY well. I love how local and homey this business feels. Their baked goods are all amazing and I will continue supporting them whenever I am in Manlius. Highly recommend Salt City Bread! You will not regret it.

We found the Elf in the Oak on Yelp and once we saw the menu, we knew we had to give it a try. The Elf in the Oak is nestled on Rt 414. If you're not actively using a GPS, you may pass it by. It's not a large place by any means, but there's more than enough seating indoors and out. We went on a Friday morning, so there wasn't a wait and we received our food quickly. We both wanted 'the Spicy' and I have to admit, it's one of the best egg sandwiches I've ever had, which is high praise coming from someone who once worked at a popular bagel joint on Long Island. If we lived locally, we'd definitely go back, but I hope if you're looking for a quick casual brunch place to grab a bite, you consider visiting the Elf In The Oak.

The schnitzel sandwich was also very good. The fries, at $8 as a side were not worth it, I would have rather ordered another sandwich than got two sides of fries. The chips were also almost flavorless, except that of 99% fresh oil. The kids grilled cheese was American cheese, and thus, imho, was not very good. One of my kids took a bite and didn't like it either. Ambiance: simple, nice view of the lake. Service: friendly staff. Tl;DR: I'll be back, but won't order sides or the grilled cheese.

When I read over the reviews, everyone raved about their baked goods - so of course I ordered the bread pudding in addition to a rosemary chickpea salad with grilled chicken. The salad was like a take on Thanksgiving stuffing with chickpeas. It was good a little thick but has good flavor. The grilled chicken did not have any flavor to it but once mixed into the salad it was good. The stand out for me was definitely the bread pudding. It had layers of fresh apples in between and was very moist. I really enjoyed this and even cold it was still very delicious. They mentioned to me that the apples were from a local farm, which I loved. Definitely recommend checking out the baked goods for sure.
