Decided we'd ask to sit at the breakfast bar and the nice gentleman grabbed us waters and juices right away and waitress took our order shortly after. Glad we stuck it out. We both had the TMR which came with 2 eggs, choice of meat, home fries, waffle, and sausage and biscuits. I had Canadian bacon (2 slices) added onion to my home fries which were crispy and delicious the other was the same except regular bacon (8 slices). Price was great for the quality and amount of food. Gets busy and noisy but very good. Casual atmosphere a bit less noisy at the breakfast bar. Nice clean homey place. We enjoyed and took half the food home!

Fair warning....you will need to be strategic in your timing or be prepared to wait. The service is always friendly and spot on, and the food is always well prepared and tasty. BUT...from time to time it takes a bit to turn a table Not sure if it's front end or back end staff constraints...but it happens. However, once you realize that everything is cooked to order and is on point, you'll be a bit more understanding that from time to time there may be a minor delay. With all that said, I have always found any delay worth the wait. Overall, the food is very good, the service is friendly and polite and I've got no negative input. This is a must try if you've not yet tried it.

The servers are friendly, fast, and great at what they do. Their music is upbeat and great background along with the natural lighting and color-coordinated art. It was pretty packed, but a sign said they take reservations if you want to ensure a table. We would have had a bit of a wait (It was a Saturday) but we managed to snag seats at the bar. And boy, am I glad we did. The bartender was amazing. Friendly, funny--it was like we got brunch and a show all in one, but without it being hovering and annoying by trying to hard. It was natural good-natured banter, which I appreciate. There were plenty of people at the bar, so we could chuckle at the conversations with other people who were lucky to have gotten bar seats. The other gentleman tag-teaming behind the bar was the foil of the comedy duo, and was kind, pleasant, and helpful. Come for the breakfast--Creme Brulee French Toast is an award winning dish for a reason. With fresh berries, it's syrup optional (for any crazies out there who hate real, thick, maple syrup.) Stay for the Mimosa flight--They have a long list of yummy choices. It's hard to choose just four. But the bartender let me add the Halloween special champagne cocktail in my flight as well, which made the choice both easier and harder. The service was the whipped cream and maple syrup on top. All in all, so glad we stumbled upon this place. I tend to be a coffee only in the morning type gal, but I'm currently stuffed and happy.

Menu is filled with options which made it hard to pick what to order which is an awesome "problem" to have, we all ordered breakfast and were not disappointed! I decided on the pancake/french toast flight and picked three flavors. I chose Cannoli French Toast, Reese's Pieces pancakes, and the loaded pancakes for a savory item. Cannoli was my favorite but they were all good, loaded even has an egg on top however you like it!Portion size is huge and everything tasted great!!!! They had a good challenge listed on the menu but none of us were up to the challenge! Service is amazing, and they even have a waitress warming up coffee, which I highly appreciate at places. The diner is busy but it was not too loud to hear your party and everything ran so smooth. All the servers were nice and seemed happy to work there! Menu price was shown using your card, they had a cash discount available if using cash which is a nice option! I wish I took pictures or everyone else's food but didn't. The drink options seemed amazing with make your own flights or their specials. The next time I am in the Syracuse area I will be going here to try more! Don't be afraid of the busy parking lot or wait time, it's worth it!! Also reading about the name and reason for this diner made me feel all the feels for the owners recovery, how can you NOT support a place like this??!! We will be back and can't wait to try more off their menu.

This place makes the best "slice" of pizza. Not really pizza, but focaccia in a pizza-like style reminiscent of Sicilian style pizza. What sets this piece of tomato, dough, and cheese apart is the magic that happens between the layers. There's a middle layer on top of a perfectly crispy bottom and below the extremely tasty cheese top that is both flavorful and has the most pleasing texture. Put it all together with a little charred pepperoni and you got heaven on Earth; truly a spectacular "slice." Also available plain or with sausage. I had mine at room temperature. Soooooo good. Take it from the Pizza Maven. They got something REALLY special here. BTW, the wraps were very good, too. Nicely grilled chicken in a soft wrap stuffed with fresh veggies, fresh mozzarella, almonds, & even strawberries. It worked out to be an interesting, delicious combination. But, when I go back (and I'm going back sooner than later) it's going to be focaccia all the way. Thank you Mixing Bowl for showing me the light in the darkness of the Syracuse pizza world.

Seemingly in the middle of rural upstate NY is this gem of a restaurant. The server and everyone on the staff that interacted with us were simply lovely! Kind, helpful and joyful. I ordered a turkey melt with onion rings, and my friend had a burger with fried which she claimed was one of the best she had eaten in a long time. Accompanied by "sassy sauce" our fries and onion rings were dipped in this delightful yet spicy accoutrement! My turkey melt was delicious- carved turkey- not slimy cold cuts, cheese and banana peppers were a perfect and delectable combination on lightly toasted bread- simply marvelous! For desert- and they are all lovingly homemade, I had a mixed berry pie with ice cream and my friend had a slice of Dutch apple pie! Both equally and fabulously delicious! This is a must-try diner. That's all you need to know. If you want to read on, enjoy!…read more I very rarely find myself on this side of Syracuse, but recently we were attending an event at the SRC Arena at OCC and were looking for a diner and Finally Ours popped up. Besides the admittedly strange name for a restaurant (there must be an interesting backstory here), Finally Ours looks like a typical diner upon entry - long counters with cakes on display, a "pay here" counter, and lots of tables in the dining areas. Halloween decorations were on full display - they really leaned into the season and I bet Christmas is fun here. I ordered my old standby - sunny side up eggs, rye toast, bacon, and hash browns. My wife ordered one of the specialty omelettes. Food came out lightning quick and it was a team of servers doing coffee, juice, waters, and food. The check arrived halfway through the meal, though there was no pressure to hurry. A premium diner experience comes with premium pricing - breakfast and beverages for 2 people was $48 - a bit surprising but in 2026, also not. Everything about the experience was top notch. Other than the high price tag being more than expected, we loved it and would return!
