They also sell some very cute greeting cards, earrings, magnets, etc. We ordered two drinks (Ube Espresso, Crème Brûlée latte), a flower pot mini cake (chocolate cake with raspberry filling in a decorative flower pot), a crème brûlée donut, and a spinach puff. The desserts were good, with the flower pot mini cake being our favorite. The chocolate cake was moist and the raspberry filling was balanced. We didn't love the flower frosting on top, but it was very pretty. The donut was very unique and filled to the brim with a fluffy cream - though we both thought it could've had a bit more flavor. The dough was perfect - soft and pillowy. The crème brûlée top made for a fun eating experience as the thin hard sugar had a satisfying crunch. The spinach puff was also delicious. Flaky pastry and cheesy filling - very comforting. The stars of the show were the drinks. The coffee was superb - balanced, smooth, and rich in flavor. While I didn't find the ube flavor to stand out, the ube espresso drink was still one of my favorite coffee drinks I've had. The Crème Brûlée latte was my friend's favorite - it was the perfect dessert drink. It even had the sugar crust on top. I would definitely come back to try more of their menu!

I sample my wife's meatloaf open face sandwich and if given the option I'll take the meatloaf over the roast beef. All in all nothing exceptional but nothing off putting that would warrant a disappointment issue.

I've been wanting to try Moonflower for many months now and had a chance the other day. Their marketing game is on point, beautifully packaged and presented product. The shop is set back from the road so you can easily miss it, maybe some additional signage would help. The shop is consistent with their refined aesthetic but is tiny, maybe only two customers can be in the shop simultaneously. The younger staff who helped me was very nice and knowledgeable about the product. The macarons are sublime, gorgeous and authentic (crisp on outside, proper feet, slight interior chew). The flavor variety is delightful. I love that some of the flavors are unique and unexpected such as frosted animal cookie. My favorite was the pistachio raspberry, there was an actual raspberry in the center. They change up their flavors every month. Truly a one of a kind bakery in the area. I decided to try the apple tart and the rugelagh. The apple tart was flaky and the filling was classic apple pie flavor. The rugelagh was a different type of pastry but equally as good. They are take out only but there are so many places to sit and eat ( when the weather is nice) and the views of Skaneateles Lake are amazing. (Jul 2026) We had to try their ice cream bars: homemade lemon chocolate chip ice cream, with a coat of crumbled lemon cookies, half-dipped in homemade dark-chocolate shell! Clever and delicious! We also had a dish of homemade Blueberry Guava sorbet! Intense red-purple color and sweet frozen flavor! Great summer treats! We ate faster than they melted :-)

I am partial to soft serve but have tried both their hard icecream and soft serve. I prefer their soft serve but wish they had more flavors. I tried the classic chocolate twist and the two berry twist soft serves. In the two berry twist, I didn't like the pink flavor- it was too icy and more like a sorbet/dole whip than true soft serve. I liked the purple flavor thought! Overall, I still frequent Sweet Melissa's for softserve close to Cornell! Would recommend!
