Food is pretty tasty, servers help you with your order promptly, and it is absolutely gorgeous and such a fun spot to take friends or have a cute dessert/sweets/drinks date. My absolute favorite drink is their toasted coconut taro milk tea.

I got a Cinnabon iced coffee and a bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. Both which were amazing. The coffee was probably one of the best I had in awhile. The service was good, staff was polite and the wait was minimal. The store was nice, quiet and well kept as well as clean. I will def return.

I always have a great experience here. The employees are friendly and helpful and the desserts are delicious. It is a very fun place to sit and relax. I get something different each time I come. Today I had the Taro Espresso Iced. I really enjoyed this one mainly because it wasn't super sweet. The taro was a nice combination with the smooth espresso. The Peach Pecan Pie was sweet and delicious with fresh peaches, flaky crust and pecans on top.

I've been to Cake Bar now a few times and each time I am impressed at the quality of the food, the friendly service and time it takes to order food but also the service of the food. I appreciate the decor and the restaurant ambiance! They've decorated for winter themed, but I recently visited when they decorated for Christmas! I also love the location of Cake Bar as well. Easily accessible.

Chicken Pot Pie and Vietnamese Coffee

Cake Bar is a gem that deserves five stars just for their incredible chicken pot pie. Flaky, savory perfection! The Vietnamese coffee is pretty solid, didn't taste quite authentic but close enough. The cafe itself is spacious and cozy, it's a great spot to study or work with plenty of room to spread out. Parking is a hassle in this area but that is no fault of the cafe. Staff is always hustling making drinks so don't expect warm welcomes every time. I've run into issues with availability of chicken pot pie. I've struck out the first three times I went trying get one, they're always either sold out or not on the menu. More consistent stock please!

Always such a pleasant place. Staff is so friendly. Sandy is the best. Had to try the Bacon Egg Lettuce and Tomato Bagel sandwich with a Vietnamese coffee. Very tasty.

They've updated their menu (see pics). The chocolate chip sandwich cookie is now $5.75 and was a little tinier this time vs previous visits. Polite staff, quick service, tasty treats.

I finally made it to cake bar during winterfest and dropped in during the rosenco permanent jewelry pop up shop. Such a cute place and very lively with lots of groups meeting up there. I wanted to try the winterfest special but they were out of the coffee so I got their new Dubai latte and bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. Everything was delicious and I loved the toppings. The sandwich was good, I got it on a croissant and immediately ate it needed it before work. I will definitely be back to try more and especially their cakes and desserts.

This might be my new favorite cafe - they have everything you could think of! I tried the Vietnamese iced coffee and the toasted coconut iced coffee and both delicious, bonus points for the adorable heart shaped straw!! The entire cafe is decorated with such thought for valentine's day and looks so pretty - I hope to see it decorated throughout all seasons and holidays! The baristas are super sweet and the crafts/gift area has such fun and cute items, I couldn't leave without buying a crochet flower.. This might become a weekly visit.

Everytime I come here, I feel so cozy (even when I'm getting my work done). The cake bar is a great place to come and experience great drinks and yummy desserts (that are FANCY)! Even when it's busy, there's a lot of seating inside. Staff is friendly and helpful with the menu. Drinks are on the pricier side, but are definitely worth it!

Great place for Instagram worthy drinks & food! It was hard to decide which dessert to go with, they all looked so delicious! I ended up getting the holiday cake and it did not disappoint! It wasn't too busy when we came, but as soon as we were leaving, many people were looking for tables. So be aware it can get busy! Parking was street parking & paid, we had to walk a few streets over. Can't wait to come back when I'm in town again!

Cute and affordable spot for bubble tea or unique coffee. There is a nice variety of sweet and savory pastries as well. The service is very accommodating. I totally recommend this place!

I'll start with the great. The staff have always been wonderful when I've come. They always…read moreappreciate the small tip I leave them. As a Brooklyn boy I always found it odd there was no tip jar, we do things differently where I'm from. The prices for their goods is extremely good. Syracuse, take note of this and cherish your establishments. I walked out with two dozen donuts & a single danish cheese for $25. A famous national chain charges I think over $2.25 for a subpar donut. When I visit Cuse, I always stop here but this past time I feel the donuts were not as fresh as they once were, this could be very biased due to my experience and I don't go that often, the regulars will have better input in quality of the years. But what happened below is why I'm no longer stopping in. Saturday the 27th I pull into the parking lot and see a woman outside asking for change, very normal for me where I'm from. I don't say anything. I came inside to do a good deed, bring my neighbor and his children a dozen of donuts and grab a dozen for my family and an army buddy visiting from the west coast. I'm in a good mood. I never give people change, I always buy food. I decided I'll buy a cheese danish for the very thin woman outside in the cold. I add that to my order. Total $25 gave $30 and told the Wonderful Woman who took my order to keep the rest for herself. As I walk out, I offer the woman the cheese danish. She declined it. In a very rude way saying "she doesn't eat desserts". Now toots, you're in front of a damn bakery. People are more inclined to give you food as opposed to money so we don't support your clear drug habit. In Brooklyn where I'm from, the people like that still take the food, say thank you as it's still a kind gesture with good intentions and tosses it when you leave. That being said, there is no issue at this point. I say, "ok, have a good day and walk to my car". If the owner would like to review footage, it's the black 4Runner with NY disabled veteran plates. As I'm getting into my car, the same woman screams at me. Saying "bounce b-I-t-c-h" and telling me I better leave. Of course I reply with every profanity known to man and leave. The next morning I go again to take two donuts for my drive back to Brooklyn. Guess who's there? Yup the same delusional woman. Asks again for change and I tell her, "not after the way you treated me yesterday, I'll probably never give someone anything again that asks". Then she says "why does this man come here? I walk inside, order my two donuts and receive great service from the gentleman with glasses, who I gave a $1 tip to in two donuts. As I'm walking out another customer in the waking into the parking lot of course hands her a dollar. I told him my experience and he still chose too, hey it's America do what you wish. But when this broad is here every day, it's because people keep giving her money. But hey, his choice. And I'll do as I wish. I will no longer be coming to a Harrison Bakery. If they allow a delusional person to sit for hours everyday on THEIR property to accost/ harass customers, they cleary do not value us as customers to have a great peaceful experience. The donuts & Black & Whites are not that good to have to ruin my vibe. It's their property. Harrison bakery is 100% responsible of who is on their property and for what purpose. Syracuse PD will have no issue with issuing a no trespass for this person who literally stands or lays against the brick wall all day. Keep in mind. This is coming from someone who literally grew up in homeless shelters from time to time, even a bit of time at the Vera house down the road.

Okay, so I'm totally going against the grain here as I found nothing exceptional or overly exciting…read moreabout this restaurant. My son found it and wanted to give it a try, so we did. The place was totally empty when we walked in and outside of 1 Uber Eats order we were it 4:30 PN. But, it still took 15 minutes for two bowls of ramen and one rice bowl to be ready. Our meals were good but not worth the drive from Marcellus. I've had worse and I've had better bowls of ramen. The stock was good but it was lacking any real depth of flavor and seemed to be singular in tone and lacked any real silky rich mouth feel. Nothing that would warrant a wave off, but nothing significant enough for a book mark. We all like what we like, but for me this was an average experience.

I'm not a bubble tea fan, so I can't speak to that, but I do quite enjoy their ramen bowls and have had them on multiple occasions. The standout for me is the miso base with chicken. The broth is piping hot, the green onion flavor is awesome, and it's a chock full of ingredients. The interior is unique with big, open windows and some funky booths. My main complaint here is that service tends to be a bit slow. I'd recommend ordering ahead of time and then eating there once you pick it up or just doing take out. Ordering through the counter can take awhile, even if it's quiet in there. Happy to continue to support them!
