At the yelp event, Cathy's decorate their cookies with the yelp emblem in icing, and that was slightly too diabetes triggering for my liking, but after scraping that off, I realized that underneath all that distraction, is treasure. The cookie is perfectly soft and chewy. I tried the snickers and the milkyway. On my second visit, I had the cookies and cream, pretzel caramel, and milkyway. My friend and I shared a half dozen for $10. saving me a dollar from the usual $2/each. I read a sign that they offer happy hour on their cookies on fridays! Cathy's Cookies are deliciously sweet! I had the pleasure of trying them for the first time at a Yelp event. I had the chocolate chip chunk cookie and thought it was perfectly chewy. It was decorated with frosting on top which made it ultra pretty but definitely put it over the top in terms of sweetness and sugar. I imagine the cookie alone is great, especially paired with some milk to cut the sweetness. I liked the texture of the cookie and how it wasn't too crumbly. I also liked the thickness and size of the cookie. Their store also sells ice cream, lemonades, slushees, muffin cookies and edible cookie dough. They have a cookie club for $45 a month for those true cookie monsters. You get 4 deliveries that includes a bunch of cookies and discounts. Everything seems to be run by one person, although she did say that she gets help from time to time. You walk in to the TKO of smells of delicious cookies floating all around you. There are so many cookies to choose from that I highly advise you to just indulge and buy a bunch of them like I did, you will not regret it! We ended up buying a chocolate chip, sugar cookie, snicker doodle, oatmeal raisin, and the king of them all...the Milky Way chocolate chip cookie. Yes, you read that right. It is everything you dreamed of in a cookie. Its gooey, chocolatey, and oh so yummy. There are huge chunks of Milky Way melted into the cookie that are protruding from the top. The caramel and the cookie blends so well together, you have to wonder why this isn't a staple at all grocery stores! I know this place hasn't been open for that long but OMG I didn't know what I was missing. I might have just had the best peanut butter cookie I have ever had. I stopped in after work. There was still a pretty decent selection of cookies to choose from. Decisions, decisions, I ended up sticking with my favorite a peanut butter cookie, it was definitely a great choice. Soft, great peanut butter flavor, and a good size cookie. The shop is decorated with a cookie theme, love the dessert periodic chart. I looked over the cookie menu and they have many offerings, with many gluten free options. They are open Monday - Friday 11am to 6pm and Sat 12pm to 3pm. On Fridays there's a cookie Happy Hour from 5pm to 6pm, any cookie in the case is $1.00. Since this place is in my neighborhood it could be dangerous to my healthy diet but everything in moderation. But also didn't overpower them. Wasn't crazy about the chocolate chip cookie with walnuts but to be honest, I've yet to find a cookie with walnuts that I liked. If you think about the best peanut butter you have ever tasted (I like Jiff creamy), that flavor explodes in your mouth leaving a mellow sweet after-taste. Like a fine wine, that after-taste can be savored for a period of time. Other favorites are snicker doodles, oatmeal, s'mores, and the best gluten free made!
