I love TLJ. Being from NYC, it's really nice to see a familiar Asian bakery. All the breads are "not too sweet" which is my favorite type of dessert. I've had probably ever cake they have on the menu and they're all delicious and the cream is airy and light. For the breads, I do recommend the curry bread and the taro cream bread. This is a chain of franchise bakeries - this location may be a little different from the others but that does not make it any less amazing. Seriously, pick up a loaf of any of the breads and then try and make a sandwich with anything else. I have found that the items that are pre-packaged are not as good as the items that are made or finished on-site. Everything in the daily fresh cases, though, is wonderful. Coffee can be hit and miss, there's a barista that works in the evenings that really can pull a nice cup and a few gentlemen on the weekends who seem to struggle with the machine and it downgrades to merely a good cup (still a pretty good cup, though!) I've never seen anyone come in here and leave with just one thing. If you step through the door, plan to have your carbs for the week planned out for you by what's here. The seating area is very simple cafe style seating but be warned: it closes at six pm. I will keep coming back for more, I'm sure - now to check out the grocery and restaurant they share a parking lot with! read more

Amazing find in Syracuse! We Had gone to the Plaza next-door for the Asian supermarket when we noticed the sign for the bakery... We were rather intrigued as the sign just reads authentic bakery. We weren't sure what kind of authentic bakery it was so we checked out. It is a French Korean bakery that has the most delightful sweet and savory pastries. Everything is individually wrapped for Covid. You take a tray and tongs, select what you would like and pay. It is truly a treat- something you'd find in a larger metropolitan area. I have been to this place twice now. My first time i had the $8 tiramisu and the mango cream cloud cake. Now, the tiramisu is *exceptional* as always. The mango cake, was so light and fluffy, and not too sweet. This time around i got a chocolate cornet, a strawberry loaf with cream, and another tiramisu. The cornet was heavenly, 98% of it filled with chocolate. I am just in love with this place and I am looking forward to trying the brown sugar milk tea and ube loaf. read more

This is the most delightful bakery! They have pastries and breads already packaged individually in cases for easy accessibility. Pricing is very reasonable for this quality and the pricing is clearly marked on every single item. You can also see nutritional information and descriptions for all the items on their website which I really appreciated. We got a smorgasbord of pastries, all top notch, and we also got a bubble tea and an ube latte- both delicious. 4 stars compared to other bakeries in general, though this Tous Les Jours is not as large and has limited options compared to other stores I've been to in bigger cities (e.g. Chicago, Baltimore, NYC). This is a French-Asian bakery. You grab a tray and tongs and browse the beautiful selection of pastries. One of the most famous ones being milk bread. We tried several of their pastries, including a red bean mochi donut, milk bread, a butter loaf and a matcha brown sugar bubble tea drink. I always adore asian pastries because they're not too sweet. Butter loaf was very rich, light and fluffy. The matcha brown sugar bubble tea drink was nice, but I do still like tiger sugar better. Things are a little pricy here compared to other asian bakeries, but everything is high quality. Will be back to satisfy my cravings! read more

I've been here over a dozen times and it is still one of my favorite Korean/French bakery. Everything is made fresh the day of. One of my fav. Baked goods is the donut with the kimchi fillings. Made just right, where it isn't overly spicy. They offer everything from homemade french baguettes to all different flavors macaroons and all different fillings of donuts. For example red beans, matcha, apple, blueberry and so on. I also love their boba drinks. My fav. flavor has to be taro. I usually would show up before noon because they don't keep making new batches of baked goods. They only make enough for that day. The place is very clean and have enough seatings for a large group. I remember in like 2010, I went to NYC with my girlfriend and her Korean family. At the time, I think we only had Hans and another smaller place for anything even remotely authentic in Syracuse, so stopping in China Town was a pretty big deal. For one of our stops, we went to Tous Les Jours, and it was insane. I took pictures of everything, and thought about how cool it would be if we had one of these in Syracuse. Our timing was a bit off, but we're finally here together in the same city, and I've been here a few times. I don't think people realize how well Koreans can bake. It definitely wasn't something I had heard about until trying it myself. I've never had cake so soft or balanced in flavor. Tous Les Jours combines the unique arrays of flavor and texture you get from Korean baking, and adds some French selection, style, and don't forget the pomposity to the mix. I usually show up around 11 AM or 12 PM, not long after they've opened, but they don't seem to have a lot in stock. Everything is individually wrapped with product-specific wrapping including nutrition facts. Along with the packaging, I get store-bought vibes just in terms of the freshness in the pastries. They're often dry and stretchy, similar to preserved and packaged pastries you might buy at a grocery store. I hear good things about the macarons, and I know the cake is legit. If you can catch them on the shelves, any of the bread they make is great as well - you could cut it with a plastic butter knife. I went here for Valentine's Day, finally ready to pony up for a very expensive and delicious cake, but the regular selection was replaced by Valentine's themed cakes that were a lot more expensive. It was my own fault waiting until the day of to get something, but those small heart shaped cakes were going for almost $60 a piece. I couldn't pull the trigger on that even with my Valentine's Day adrenaline pumping, so I went with a roll cake and some pastries instead. Same message received, same uniquely high quality cake, no Valentine's Day extortion. They also serve a decent variety of teas and coffee drinks. I couldn't say no to the flavor combination of the Matcha Espresso boba tea. I can't find their drink menu or selection online, but there's a bunch of other flavors I don't see everywhere else. It's not the best boba in town, but something to try if you're already here. All in all, this is not the best bakery you'll find, especially for the prices. If you want the same quality Korean cake and baked goods, go to Asia Market. You'll find great quality French pastries around town as well (pour one out for Scratch Bakehouse). But if you must have French inspired pastries with Korean flavors, at least you'll get the care and high presentation of Tous Les Jours. read more

I was on the lookout for a bakery and not just a bakery that sells cookies and baked goods but actual pastries. I stumbled across Tous Les Jours and was pleasantly surprised how cute it was inside. Very well decorated and organized and they have trays you can grab and walk around and put what you want in your tray then bring your tray to the checkout. They have an assortment of pastries, breads, deserts, and even have donuts. They have coffee and also bubble tea! That's right bubble tea! I was very shocked to see that in a bakery but they looked very elegant and not like your normal bubble tea. I ended up getting a sea salt caramel macchiato and it was SO good! A lot of this is self serve but the lady cashing me out was very nice. They made my coffee rather quickly also which is nice. Now onto the food. I got a little thing of chocolate chip cookies, a chocolate croissant, a strawberry cream stuffed croissant, and a cheesecake. The chocolate chip cookies were AWFUL! Even my 3 year old didn't like them. They just had a wierd taste to them and didn't taste like your average chocolate chip cookie. The chocolate croissant was SO delicious as well as the strawberry cream filled croissant. I would highly recommend those two items and will be going back again for them and more! The cheesecake was okay, I have had better ones and I probably won't be getting that again. They do have a wide variety of things so I will be going back to try more stuff! We were looking for a place to grab a quick snack and my heart was so happy when this bakery showed up first in the results. One of my favorite bakeries when I'm still living in the West. Their concept is similar to 85C where you pick your pastries of choice with a tong, put it in the tray, and bring it to the register for packing, but because of the pandemic: -Pastries were already packed individually -If you don't wish to purchase, don't touch any products -For takeout only -Seating area is closed -Limit 3 or less people per party. The bakery is Located in this small plaza together with other asian businesses (by the back of that self storage that I forgot the name). Exterior is simple and may not immediately catch your attention but the inside is welcoming and it gives me this aesthetically warm, cozy feeling. They have wide selections of breads & pastries that are very savory and delicious. Some of our favorites are curry and kimchi croquettes, taro bread, chocolate cornet, croque monsieur, cheesecake and the sausage pastries. Coffees, teas, smoothies, shaved ice available in here too. Wanted to get their matchapresso or taropresso. However, I already had coffee while on the way & ordered the Black sugar boba instead. Perfect balance of sweet, milky drink, & chewy boba consistency. Inexpensive prices that ranges from $2-$3. When you're in this store it's just "so hard to decide what to get" or "just get every pastry" hehe. I was a little hesitant to stop in because I know that the pastries are normally buffet-style, but now all products are individually wrapped. There is a plastic guard between the cashier, and there is lots of signage not to lean on tables and to be generally careful. I felt very safe. As always, of course, the food is delicious. I took my kimchi croquette home and heated it up in my toaster, and rounded my lunch out with a red bean bread. Great Asian bakery in Syracuse tucked in an unassuming corner. If your idea of a perfect cake is "not too sweet", you need to check out theirs! Lots of fresh pastries too. Similar to what you'd find at an 85 Degree Bakery. I'm a big fan of their tiramisu coffee. My kids like their boba slushes and smoothies. The slushes are dairy free as well as the peach mango smoothie. Plenty of tables and chairs to enjoy your treat if you want to stay. Paper bag charge was 15 cents so bring your own if you want to avoid the charge. read more

So happy we found a Tous Les Jours not too far from where we live! This place is still open, but seating is not available. The idea is "grab-and-go", so you walk in, get the baked goods you want on your tray, pay for it and go. Everything here is good so my husband and I made sure we got enough to last a while. :) We also got the matcha latte boba and chai tea boba, which wasn't very sweet (just milky). After a late dinner, my family and I decided to visit Tous Les Jours for coffee and dessert. Unfortunately, we came close to closing time, so they were out of many of their baked goods. I ended up getting a Taroespresso with boba, and my mom got a coffee. My dad got a pastry- I think it was part cheesecake- and it was absolutely delicious. I definitely recommend coming earlier in the day to make sure you have a broad selection of pastries to enjoy. You ever go to a place, try something, and like it so much that you never want anything else? Yeah, that's me and the matcha latte. It is a tasty hint of bitter and earth in the cloud of cream and sweet. Yes, there are other drinks, and I have heard they are good, but my life is very complete with just this latte, okay?! I have tried more than one of their desserts though, and every freaking one in the place is perfect. Beautiful, buttery, light and airy French technique combined with Korean tastes such as green tea, red bean, taro, melon....my gods! Just be aware that with the stuffed buns despite your best efforts the filling is likely to get all over your face. Those things are FULL! Practical things: Parking is ample. There is even a light from which you can turn into the lot with. They have free WiFi (password at the bottom of the receipt) and a good amount of seating.
