I've had these donuts several times over the years, they are truly always the best tasting donuts. I'm not big on sweets/bakeries but these are always a tasty treat and worth it... definitely super sweet but in the best possible way and obviously you'd expect that from a gourmet donut. The cinnamon roll one is my absolute favorite!

Dozen Donuts! One in each flavor!

I hardly know where to begin with this place. We've all wandered into shops just before closing, only to be met with tired eyes and fading service. But on our first week in Syracuse, we discovered Glazed and Confused just twenty minutes before they shut their doors and you would never have known it. The two people behind the counter welcomed us with a warmth and kindness that felt genuine, not obligatory. As an Ohio State graduate, my eyes went straight to their Buckeye donuts, an instant must-buy. I walked out with two, and every bite confirmed I'd made the right choice. Rich, indulgent, perfectly balanced... these were donuts that know exactly what they're doing. But the pastries were only half the magic. I wasn't sure if I was speaking with the owner, but I bravely mentioned that I'm an aspiring baker myself. Instead of brushing it off, he lit up offering thoughtful advice, encouragement, and even an open invitation to reach out if I ever needed help. That moment stopped me in my tracks. This, right here, is community. This is what it looks like when a business is built on passion, generosity, and heart. I'll only be in Syracuse for a year, but Glazed and Confused has already earned a permanent place in my routine... and my heart. The perfect start to the weekend, and the kind of place that reminds you why local bakeries matter.

Stopped in early on a Saturday morning for a sweet fix. Service was very friendly, we were the only ones in the shop at the time and were in and out quite quickly. It looked like they were boxing a bunch of large orders, but I just wanted one doughnut. They had quite a few different options to choose from, but I just had to go with a classic. it looks like they have some seasonal flavors as well. I got the cinnamon roll donut which added up to $2 which feels like a steal. The icing was delightful but I will note that it was very much almost a bunt cake texture and not super "donut-y".

So continuing my lifelong goal of trying every doughnut shop...this place is very good! I am normally NOT a fan of cake doughnuts at all, but these were very good! The cake was light, moist and very flavorful. The shop is very small with limited dine in options (there is a table outside). The woman working was very kind and patient while I made my decisions. I chose the cannoli "sandwich", strawberry lemon and cookies and cream. The cookies and cream was my favorite. The chocolate cake was absolutely delicious! I would love to try everything on the menu! I carried them all the way home to Charleston 2 days later and my husband couldn't believe how fresh they tasted even after traveling for 2 days!

Definitely a part of Syracuse I miss the most after moving away! They always have fun flavors throughout the week and a solid selection of permanent flavors. There isn't a lot of seating inside - it's definitely somewhere you get a box of donuts from and eat in the car. Their coffee is also really good! It's a one stop shop for some breakfast goods. I also really recommend the donut boxes they come out with during the holidays.

2nd stop on the Dules Anne breakfast tour today was Glazed and Confused donuts. The donuts we purchased were the buckey, the cannoli whoopie pie, milk n cookies, dizzy pig, and fruity pebbles. These donuts are crazy good!! Another must stop on your breakfast list someday! Check em out!

Awesome donut spot. Was downtown with hubby (at a Yelp event lol) and after leaving found this little piece of donut heaven around the corner. We saw their truck parked on the street and had to investigate, then saw the door front and ran right in. Lots of choices, with a few "normal" donuts and many specialty flavors. We tried four and they were all out-of-this-world tasty. Fair prices compared to other similar donut shops. Friendly service and the owner even offered us free coffee. Will be back again(and again)!

Two staff were nice and welcoming when we entered the shop. The daily selection was nicely displayed and we were easily able to select 6 fancy creative donuts! They had fresh coffee and cold beverages available.

We decided to try this place while in town. This is not your ordinary doughnut place - the creations here are wonderful and a number of them could easily be a dessert. We decided to get a mixed dozen - here's our review: All of them have a cake doughnut base. They've got the cake doughnut down! It was moist and perfectly done. We tried a Blackout which is a chocolate cake doughnut with chocolate glaze and chocolate sprinkles - it was tasty! We tried a Blackberry Cobbler which is a cake doughnut with a blackberry glaze. This was the only one that disappointed - we just couldn't taste any blackberry - we only tasted cake - this one needs a re-design to give it some flavor. We tried the Nutella Tornado which was a doughnut with chocolate glaze, chocolate Nutella frosting, bits of brownie and a Nutella drizzle. Truly tasty - a dessert or a doughnut! We tried the Buckeye which was , a doughnut with peanut butter glaze, crushed peanuts, peanut butter buttercream frosting and a peanut butter drizzle - if you like peanut butter - this one is for you - we loved it! We tried the Cinnamon Roll which was a doughnut with cinnamon glaze, cinnamon streusel and cream cheese swirl. I love cinnamon so this was perfect for me. We have several other flavors that we'll try later but I suspect they will as be as awesome as the ones we've tried so far (Blackberry being the lone disappointment). This is a family owned business and all of the staff were very friendly. When we are back in town we will definitely come back!!

Glazed & Confused is a cute, trendy little donut shop here. All their donuts are fresh, small-batch, cake-style donuts with both classic and unique (aka "confused") flavors to choose from! My roommate recently picked up a box for us to try, and while cake donuts aren't normally my thing, these were pretty tasty! My favorite was the "get shorty," aka a strawberry donut filled with vanilla buttercream and a strawberry jam. The donuts themselves are extremely sweet, but as a sweet tooth I did not mind. Whether breakfast or dessert, you'll enjoy these sweet treats!

We made a pitstop here to pick up some donuts for the ride home. They were absolutely incredible! And the owner was so kind to my daughters.

As a Brooklyn boy I always found it odd there was no tip jar, we do things differently where I'm from. The prices for their goods is extremely good. Syracuse, take note of this and cherish your establishments. I walked out with two dozen donuts & a single danish cheese for $25. A famous national chain charges I think over $2.25 for a subpar donut. When I visit Cuse, I always stop here but this past time I feel the donuts were not as fresh as they once were, this could be very biased due to my experience and I don't go that often, the regulars will have better input in quality of the years. But what happened below is why I'm no longer stopping in. Saturday the 27th I pull into the parking lot and see a woman outside asking for change, very normal for me where I'm from. I don't say anything. I came inside to do a good deed, bring my neighbor and his children a dozen of donuts and grab a dozen for my family and an army buddy visiting from the west coast. I'm in a good mood. I never give people change, I always buy food. I decided I'll buy a cheese danish for the very thin woman outside in the cold. I add that to my order. Total $25 gave $30 and told the Wonderful Woman who took my order to keep the rest for herself. As I walk out, I offer the woman the cheese danish. She declined it. In a very rude way saying "she doesn't eat desserts". Now toots, you're in front of a damn bakery. People are more inclined to give you food as opposed to money so we don't support your clear drug habit. In Brooklyn where I'm from, the people like that still take the food, say thank you as it's still a kind gesture with good intentions and tosses it when you leave. That being said, there is no issue at this point. I say, "ok, have a good day and walk to my car". If the owner would like to review footage, it's the black 4Runner with NY disabled veteran plates. As I'm getting into my car, the same woman screams at me. Saying "bounce b-I-t-c-h" and telling me I better leave. Of course I reply with every profanity known to man and leave. The next morning I go again to take two donuts for my drive back to Brooklyn. Guess who's there? Yup the same delusional woman. Asks again for change and I tell her, "not after the way you treated me yesterday, I'll probably never give someone anything again that asks". Then she says "why does this man come here? I walk inside, order my two donuts and receive great service from the gentleman with glasses, who I gave a $1 tip to in two donuts. As I'm walking out another customer in the waking into the parking lot of course hands her a dollar. I told him my experience and he still chose too, hey it's America do what you wish. But when this broad is here every day, it's because people keep giving her money. But hey, his choice. And I'll do as I wish. I will no longer be coming to a Harrison Bakery. If they allow a delusional person to sit for hours everyday on THEIR property to accost/ harass customers, they cleary do not value us as customers to have a great peaceful experience. The donuts & Black & Whites are not that good to have to ruin my vibe. It's their property. Harrison bakery is 100% responsible of who is on their property and for what purpose. Syracuse PD will have no issue with issuing a no trespass for this person who literally stands or lays against the brick wall all day. Keep in mind. This is coming from someone who literally grew up in homeless shelters from time to time, even a bit of time at the Vera house down the road.

As others have commented, it's not the most attractive place from the outside, or even from the inside actually. But appearances can be deceiving, right? The selection isn't great either, but I think this is the kind of bakery that prioritizes doing a few things right, rather than many things that are only mediocre. We got several brownies and canoli, and then got a few loaves of bread just because. All of them were fresh and decent. But the real story here is that the very friendly and chatty owner gave us several doughnuts for free! You read that correctly: free doughnuts! And based on the other reviews, free doughnuts are common for people who stop in. Isn't that enough to make you want to try this place? What more could you possibly want than free doughnuts! Overall, this isn't a fancy bakery, but it's a good one nevertheless.

Best headlights and taillights ever (or at least since Temple's in Manlius closed years ago). Owner is very friendly and gives free samples, though his girlfriend doesn't. Yes, it's sort of weird that the owner has both the bakery and liquor store, but probably smart business. I visited the new location for the first time yesterday. Miss being able to see the old ovens in the back. New building was nice. I was so happy they were open and finally settled in their new location. Donuts were as fresh as ever, BUT the frosting was different on the headlights--no, no, no! The white was a bit lighter, which I guess is fine, but the chocolate was a bit darker and both tasted different and a little chemical-like. No real incentive to drive across town unless you go back to the old frosting since I shouldn't be eating donuts anyway. For the sake of all your customers, go back to the old, yummy frosting that is totally perfect and addictive!!
