One side is Tea and Boba

The Korean Hot Dog was everything I thought it would be. They are made to order, so be patient. It was hot and crispy and chewy. I used some of the spicy sauce and they also have siracha. The Tea was very good and like most places you can get it less sweet! I got the little jelly pieces this time, not boba... everyone was very friendly and the store is very clean.

I've heard about these Korean corn dogs for years but obviously it's Syracuse and they're a delicacy so they were not available. Well now they finally are with the opening of this place downtown. Wow are these amazing!!!! I got the hot Cheetos half and half, which means have hot dog and half cheese inside. This was one of the best things I've ever had. They are made to order so it did take awhile and they'll need to figure out how to expedite that process as they are going to be busy. They also offer bubble tea and Japanese donuts. I def want to try both, but I figured one thing at a time. They do offer online ordering that is preferable for efficiency. I have a feeling this spot is going to be a hit.

Syracuse finally has a spot that sells Korean hot dogs, Mochi donuts, & boba. It's in Armory Square around the corner from Pastabilities. The location is a bit small so be prepared to be cramped in there if it's busy. Their flavors for their mochi donuts are limited. I believe they only have 6 flavors (churro, blueberry, chocolate, funnel cake, fruity pebbles, & strawberry). It's definitely a place to try if you're wanting to try something different.

1 Hot Cheeto Corndog. (Excuse the Halloween lighting)

Ordered a pickup through DoorDash. Walked in and the place was very cool, and very clean. Person behind the counter made me confirm my pickup very respectfully. Ordered 2 hot Cheeto corn dog (all cheese) 1 regular corn dog (half and half) and 1 potato corn dog (half and half) The corndogs just didn't hit the same as the corndogs served at the state fair. Granted I did take a while to pick up the order but I feel like the cheese wasn't melted all the way, and the breading was very chewy. I would be willing to try it again fresh out of the kitchen.

Beyondddddd delicious! The Mochi donuts are so chewy and soft. I love the way it's made . My mouth was watering from the excitement of the flammin hot mozzarella dog. I wanted to eat it in the car but my pup wasn't having it. It was still hot when I got home to eat it so that's good. It's very filling but i enjoyed each corndog & every donuts. Total came up to about $50 . Pricey but ITS WORTH IT! I'm definitely going back to try the drinks. It's made with NonDairy powder

I'll start with the great. The staff have always been wonderful when I've come. They always…read moreappreciate the small tip I leave them. As a Brooklyn boy I always found it odd there was no tip jar, we do things differently where I'm from. The prices for their goods is extremely good. Syracuse, take note of this and cherish your establishments. I walked out with two dozen donuts & a single danish cheese for $25. A famous national chain charges I think over $2.25 for a subpar donut. When I visit Cuse, I always stop here but this past time I feel the donuts were not as fresh as they once were, this could be very biased due to my experience and I don't go that often, the regulars will have better input in quality of the years. But what happened below is why I'm no longer stopping in. Saturday the 27th I pull into the parking lot and see a woman outside asking for change, very normal for me where I'm from. I don't say anything. I came inside to do a good deed, bring my neighbor and his children a dozen of donuts and grab a dozen for my family and an army buddy visiting from the west coast. I'm in a good mood. I never give people change, I always buy food. I decided I'll buy a cheese danish for the very thin woman outside in the cold. I add that to my order. Total $25 gave $30 and told the Wonderful Woman who took my order to keep the rest for herself. As I walk out, I offer the woman the cheese danish. She declined it. In a very rude way saying "she doesn't eat desserts". Now toots, you're in front of a damn bakery. People are more inclined to give you food as opposed to money so we don't support your clear drug habit. In Brooklyn where I'm from, the people like that still take the food, say thank you as it's still a kind gesture with good intentions and tosses it when you leave. That being said, there is no issue at this point. I say, "ok, have a good day and walk to my car". If the owner would like to review footage, it's the black 4Runner with NY disabled veteran plates. As I'm getting into my car, the same woman screams at me. Saying "bounce b-I-t-c-h" and telling me I better leave. Of course I reply with every profanity known to man and leave. The next morning I go again to take two donuts for my drive back to Brooklyn. Guess who's there? Yup the same delusional woman. Asks again for change and I tell her, "not after the way you treated me yesterday, I'll probably never give someone anything again that asks". Then she says "why does this man come here? I walk inside, order my two donuts and receive great service from the gentleman with glasses, who I gave a $1 tip to in two donuts. As I'm walking out another customer in the waking into the parking lot of course hands her a dollar. I told him my experience and he still chose too, hey it's America do what you wish. But when this broad is here every day, it's because people keep giving her money. But hey, his choice. And I'll do as I wish. I will no longer be coming to a Harrison Bakery. If they allow a delusional person to sit for hours everyday on THEIR property to accost/ harass customers, they cleary do not value us as customers to have a great peaceful experience. The donuts & Black & Whites are not that good to have to ruin my vibe. It's their property. Harrison bakery is 100% responsible of who is on their property and for what purpose. Syracuse PD will have no issue with issuing a no trespass for this person who literally stands or lays against the brick wall all day. Keep in mind. This is coming from someone who literally grew up in homeless shelters from time to time, even a bit of time at the Vera house down the road.

We…read morewere looking for some pastries to take to a friend's house for dinner, and Brighton Bakery really came through! Wish we had gone sooner. As others have commented, it's not the most attractive place from the outside, or even from the inside actually. But appearances can be deceiving, right? The selection isn't great either, but I think this is the kind of bakery that prioritizes doing a few things right, rather than many things that are only mediocre. We got several brownies and canoli, and then got a few loaves of bread just because. All of them were fresh and decent. But the real story here is that the very friendly and chatty owner gave us several doughnuts for free! You read that correctly: free doughnuts! And based on the other reviews, free doughnuts are common for people who stop in. Isn't that enough to make you want to try this place? What more could you possibly want than free doughnuts! Overall, this isn't a fancy bakery, but it's a good one nevertheless.

Best headlights and taillights ever (or at least since Temple's in Manlius closed years ago). Owner is very friendly and gives free samples, though his girlfriend doesn't. Yes, it's sort of weird that the owner has both the bakery and liquor store, but probably smart business. I visited the new location for the first time yesterday. Miss being able to see the old ovens in the back. New building was nice. I was so happy they were open and finally settled in their new location. Donuts were as fresh as ever, BUT the frosting was different on the headlights--no, no, no! The white was a bit lighter, which I guess is fine, but the chocolate was a bit darker and both tasted different and a little chemical-like. No real incentive to drive across town unless you go back to the old frosting since I shouldn't be eating donuts anyway. For the sake of all your customers, go back to the old, yummy frosting that is totally perfect and addictive!!
