After frequently visiting crumbl's out west it is hard not to have a bar set pretty high. I have been to this location several times and some issues have resolved but others have not. Ordering here is a pain and all ordering is done self service with very little interaction with staff. Like that you can now get the smaller cookies that had been for catering or where you had to buy a large number of cookies. Also was pretty excited that the signature pink frosted cookies were available but are only available as smaller cookies which works for me. I will definitely be back for those but was dying to try the Birthday Cake thin cookies and knew with the heat the frosting probably would hold up and had no room in my freezer at home for the pack of the small cookies. Unfortunately, had a number of errands yet to run so will plan on small signature pink cookies soon. Was surprised that Crumbl for single cookies moved from boxes to bags but it worked as I knew I would be hitting that bag when I got to my car as my purpose was to get a quick afternoon sweet fix. This coming from someone who has a super large sweet tooth. The cookie was on the crispy side which is different than the cake like and dense cookies they are known for but they still were really good. I ordered the Dubai chocolate brownie a day ahead of time to pick up on my way to work. I guess I incorrectly assumed that it would be set aside for me at the time I was scheduled to pick it up. When I arrived, I checked in on the app and waited 10 minutes for my order. Unfortunately, a woman appeared at the counter and told me I could come back one hour and forty-five minutes later when it would be ready. I asked why they didn't set aside my order for my arrival. After some gaslighting and poor customer service response, I asked for a refund and left. She marked the order as complete on the app, and my charge is still pending on my credit card. I have to wait until it clears to officially dispute it. Would not recommend this store to anyone in the area. The floors seemed rather dirty and the boxes they were pre-assembling at one point were on the floor prior to being put in a larger box. It was a busy day, however, this experience was incredibly disappointing and overall store volume and pre-orders should be managed better. read more

I will never understand having all 6 staff not say a word to you when you walk in? I was unaware you had to order from the kiosk station so I stood at the counter for at least 5 minutes in full sight of ALL the employees before another customer told me I had to use the kiosk. I was not impressed with my visit today. I wanted to use cash since I forgot my card so I stood in front of the kiosk where you could place your order but there was no cashier in sight. I stopped inside because of all of the tiktoks I have watched reviewing them! Not much of a choice and selection compared to other locations. Only had a choice of 6. What's fun is their flavors change regularly- I tried the lemon bar and a peanut butter cookie when I went. The set up is you go in and order via tablets, and then watch the monitors for your name to be called and your box to be brought out. Not only was the presentation and packaging of the cookies pretty, the cookies themselves were enormous and fresh. They tasted delicious, and were very rich and filling. I got a four cookie box and brought them to work to share, cutting each cookie into quarters. Each quarter cookie was about the size of a normal cookie. They were gone within 15 minutes. I know cookies need salt for the baking process but you can usually taste a hint of salt or not at all so I was shocked when I took a bite of my cookie and tasted the ocean. I went to Crumbl mid day and it was a little busy, but it didn't take long to place my order and get my beautiful box of cookies. Everyone was helpful and friendly. To be honest, it was a bit of a tough time choosing my 4 cookies. Several flavors just didn't appeal to me so I ended up with 2 lemon cookies with lemon frosting, 1 chocolate chip cookie with milk chocolate and a chocolate silk cookie. I loved the lemon cookie, like a sugar cookie with lemon flavor. I really love the crispy outside and the soft inside. The chocolate chip cookie was very good too, even though I prefer semisweet or dark chocolate, the milk chocolate pieces were very nice in this traditional cookie. Again, it had a crispy outside and a soft inside. The chocolate silk was just not for me. It was more the texture of a brownie and I didn't like the taste of the chocolate frosting. I have been wanting to try this place for so long because I have heard such mixed reviews about it. So today was the day! I was Inman Erie blvd and finally stopped in. They really didn't have too much of an assortment of different kinds of cookies but I do know they change their flavors frequently. But I just thought they would have more than just 6 flavors. When you get there it's all self service. So as far as customer service, there really isn't any. The lady who gave me my cookie was nice but she just called my name and said have a great day. There is no place to eat inside and when you walk in you can see them making the cookies which is kind of cool to see. So they are very fresh. Now for how the cookie actually tasted.... It was actually very good! I got the chocolate cake batter cookie and this cookie was huge! You can split the big cookie amongst 2 people. But it was actually very good! I really enjoyed it! The cookie was soft and moist and the frosting was very light! I am a stickler with frosting and don't really like it too much but this frosting was very creamy and not that thick heavy frosting like I normally see on cookies or cupcakes. Overall I really like this place and would go back to try some of the other flavors. Yes the price is a little steep but honestly not much different than insomnia cookies. I go to crumbl weekly to try the new flavors that come out. Dewitt location is great! The employees are kind and helpful, don't find the store front to be dirty or anything. I always see them cleaning as they go when there's a mess. They are quick with getting orders out even if the store is packed! Went there after seeing these cookies brought to a work event, but didn't try them. They are, despite a variety of recipes, seem to be raw inside and and tasted like raw cookie dough more than anything. Prior to purchasing, though, I watched the young ladies there working, and several, including the one frosting my cookies, had messy ponytails slung in front of their shoulders and dragging on my cookies as she frosted them in the box.
