Fresh ingredients, fast and friendly service and very reasonable prices! I come here very often for lunch during the week. It's my go-to place for a healthy alternative to some of the other heavy, indulgent sandwich places in DT Syracuse. All of their menu items are customizable without unreasonable add-on prices. The indoor and outdoor seating is great when I have time to sit down too. There is enough space in the front for a small group (5-6) but most of their seating is for 2-4 people. This place definitely lives up to its name , it is super fast and fresh salads and wraps. They have a wide variety of salads and wraps that are very tasty. I went here with my co-worker for some iced coffee last week - the coffee was good and the price wasn't bad - $2.50 for a large. The new owner was the one who rang us out. I went back again this for a large iced coffee this morning and the new owner charged me $4.50! It doesn't cost that much at Starbucks. I told him that last time I was there, it was $2.50. He didn't offer an explanation and didn't offer to honor the original price. Mind you - his menu on the wall lists "Coffee" at $2.50. There is NO distinction made between hot coffee and iced coffee. I told him that his menus states that a large coffee is $2.50. He said that the process to make iced coffee is much more expensive than hot coffee. (???) VERY poor customer service with questionable business practices. I will never be back here and neither will any of my co-workers. I would stay away if you don't want to get ripped off. read more

No other place can offer up the variety of salads that are filling, quick, fresh and most of all delicious. I get the nicoise every single time for years now. I'll be there tomorrow. I was very impressed with the cleanliness as well as food safety. It's not too often that you see people change their gloves when handling money. The environment/decor is fun and modern-so many bright colors! I felt the prices were extremely reasonable for the quality and portion size (I walked in for lunch, having only eaten a granola bar that day, and left comfortably full and happy). Salads at establishments in my area, similar to Pronto, charge obscene prices for less than what you get at Pronto. Salad making may seem like a no brainer but it's not. So much goes into creating the perfect blend and balance with flavors and textures...this place does it right! Eating healthy while on the go can be rather difficult but they make it easy with great to-go containers. Their location is wonderful with street parking and it's basically centrally located to the rest of downtown-so walking is a good option! I think it's very important to support and buy from local business, especially when it comes to food services, and I recommend this place to anyone looking for delightful customer service and outstanding product. I really hope Pronto Fresh succeeds. I have tried their chicken salad sandwich and I honestly crave it. It sounds like your average sandwich you can get anywhere, but pronto fresh makes it their own by adding a sweetness to the savory (you know I love that) with apples and craisins. When I took a bite into the sandwich I could see and taste the chunks of crisp green apples. The bread was soft and fresh. You could tell all the ingredients matched the name. I will definitely be back. I really love that Pronto Fresh offers quick healthy options for lunch goers downtown in a convenient location. Something Syracuse really needed. I hope they stick around.
