Fish and chips
Marianne L.

We have been to this Easy Tiger on many occasions. Today we went after a game of pickleball for a late lunch. I ordered the fish and chips with a NA lager and my wife had the burger with a spritzer. The fish was good, but the chips were just regular French fries. No malt vinegar. My wife enjoyed her burger, but again the fries were not anything special considering she had to order them as an extra side. The service was fairly prompt, but the drinks took longer than expected considering the place was not busy. I like the clean wood decor and outdoor space, but there are way too many picnic tables. Some of us need chairs.

Delicious. Honestly, I don't think you can do wrong with anything here. Loaves, pretzels, bagels, rolls, they will all have you in heaven. On this occasion I went for the everything bagel with cream cheese, smoked salmon, capers, dill... I'm drooling over the memory. The bagel was chewy and buttery, the salmon was perfect, and the capers and dill added that little extra everything. The restaurant offers lots of seating both indoor and outdoor and staff is friendly.

The receipt in question.

Food was good but I got the wrong order (wings) and it still remained on my tab even though I didn't want them!!! I was under the impression we could keep the wings (since it was not what we ordered, and because the server said she'd take it off our check) so I told my friends to dig in, but when I saw the check was 43.30 we could tell my assumption was wrong. If the server had told us we couldn't eat them we would not have!!! Also, I did not appreciate the note I got on my original order of cheese curds. What is "NO MAKE!" supposed to mean?? Tl;dr food was good, service not so much, even though I recognize we were there thirty minutes before closing.

House Smoked Turkey Sandwich Bread & Butter

The best foods are crafted and simply made. Indulge yourself with fresh bread and ingredients from your neighbors herb garden. Eats bites comes with sensational pallets of joy. Easy tiger should be everyone's top pic for a lunch spot as the service and food are both 10/10.

Apple Spice Kolache

This is a fun spot to work remote! It was difficult trying to decide which pastry to order, because they all looked so good! The Apple Spice Kolache is a little messy to eat because of the caramel topping... but so worth it.

The service each time I've dined here has been solid. The breakfasts have been filling and the breads soft. Most recently I've been there for lunch and enjoying their sandwiches; my favorite is the turkey. The turkey is real meat (no deli pressed stuff here!), with lettuce, tomato, avocado, and fresh sourdough. The sandwich is large and doesn't come with a side, which works great for me, but it's worth noting if you expect something with your sandwich order. I like coming here for Too Good to Go pick ups too. They rescue bakery items at the end of the day thru the Too Good to Go program, which has given me a great opportunity to try many of the breads and bakery items.

Good drink options, good happy hour except no cocktails included in that deal, and the food was just ok! I miss the nachos badlyyy. Servers are great at checking in with the table!

Prosciutto baguette with fries
Briana N.

So much seating and so much parking, which is already a big plus for me! We came for dinner, so we were all there to for a full meal rather than their bakery/cafe. And it was more expensive than I thought it would be! Especially how adding fries to your entree was an extra $4. Our server was so friendly and the food didn't take too long to come out. I got the prosciutto baguette and while it was good, it didn't necessarily stand out for me. I think this is a great spot for if you're just hanging out with friends, so might as well order some food. Or if you just want to get something to eat on a normal day. But it's not something I would necessarily go out of my way for. The bread is pretty good though! Especially if you're someone who likes bread that has a good chew to it. I feel like Easy Tiger is definitely better known for their pastries and cafe drinks, so that's probably the move. Also one of my friends asked for the mustard in their burger to be subbed with mayo instead. And that didn't happen :/// sooo idk what happened there.

I've been to this location many times. It's a very chill spot with indoor and outdoor seating perfect for meeting up with friends for happy hour, or a quick snack/bite. I've typically gone for happy hour (before 6pm) and they have a few menu items and drinks for a cheap price during this time. During fall, the outdoor seating is perfect! Their sourdough bread is amazing and I've purchased a loaf from them when I'm there.

Expected more from this place :( I usually buy their bread at HEB and was looking forward to go to their location which is nice looking but they had no lattes because their machine was broken the staff is neither friendly or rude just existing like avatars, place overall is meh... ended ordering a cold brew and it was horrible my stomach hurted after drinking it. No flavor no taste like their staff just meh. One star because the decor is nice and also the bread but that you can get at HEB.

Hamburger buns
Jenn C.

Needed hamburger buns for dinner so I drove to easy tiger before work. I sipped in a delicious seasonal latte and pastrami and Swiss kolache. Perfect start to the Monday morning work week. They have a great outdoor patio with tons of seating and lots of fans to ward off the heat. They have a plethora of house made bread, danishes, croissants, for all the bread lovers out there.

Love Easy Tiger. The place that might fill you up, but never let you down. The pastries are always on point, great drink selection and solid staff. Has a nice coffee shop vibe inside and a German beer hall ambiance on the outside. Can pop in anytime of day and have a great time!

It was OK. The drinks were OK. The ambiance was OK. There was basically no service when we sat outside so I had to go inside to order. I probably won't go back because it's a bit far for me. If I was closer, it's an OK spot for a hangout though it was kind of dead besides our group (which makes the lack of service even weirder)

Unfortunately, the kitchen just wasn't on their game this day. We went for brunch and it is a lovely restaurant with some amazing looking pastries. My ratings of the food we got are below. Overall, everything was just okay and not something I would order again. Our order: Salami and cheese - 1/10, not even edible with how much olive oil they dumped on it. Hard cheese and meat. None of us touched it. Frites - 9/10, hard to go wrong here. Nice and crispy French cruller - 7/10, I think this is just personal presence here I wished it was warmed up. Flavor was good but it was a little dry. Burger - 5/10, the flavor is there and definitely has potential but it was so bloody and rare which is not what we asked for. My friend has a gluten allergy and she asked for the burger lettuce wrapped and it just came on top of a huge chunk of iceberg so wouldn't recommend that if you want it lettuce wrapped. Chicken sandwich - 8/10, this was good with a nice crispy chicken. It could have used something sweet to balance the spice though it was a little one dimensional.

Upon entry was greeted by Melissa and sat in her section. The decor is very diner type with low, cozy booths and few tables and chairs. Ample amount of food and def had take away box. Everything was tasty and the buttermilk pancake was amazing with just syrup. Melissa was kind enough to provide little cups to take syrup home along with the tael away container. They had a daily special and a board above the kitchen with other items. I drove by it for 20 years on the way to Avenue Barber Shop. I wanted shredded beef tacos but couldn't get them without cilantro so I chose shredded beef enchiladas (with an $8!) side of chips and salsa. My wife ordered scrambled eggs, bacon and home fries. She requested soft eggs, as she always does because too many places overcook them. The chips and salsa arrived. I was immediately disappointed. The menu said "we make our own chips." They were thick and yellow and appeared to be run-of-the-mill, out-of-a-bag chips. I prefer the thin white ones. I took one bite of salsa, and that was one bite too many. Cumin. I pushed it all aside. Cumin doesn't belong in salsa. (Sorry. I grew up in the Rio Grande Valley.) My enchiladas came with black beans, and there was cumin in them. Cumin is overused and abused in most restaurants. I couldn't eat them. The rice was good but the chipotle sauce on the enchiladas was not. I scraped most of the sauce off and ate one enchilada, mainly because I just needed something in my stomach. We were still 45 miles from home. I pushed my plate away. I also ordered coffee. One sip of that was all I could stand. Too weak for me. It gets worse, much worse. My wife's eggs were barely cooked. She asked the waiter for some cooked eggs. He took her plate and returned about four minutes later. The eggs were still not cooked. She tried another bite but couldn't eat them. Her bacon was tough as a boot and not chewable. The home fries were average, but by the time her plate arrived at our table for the second time, they were cold. I pulled my card out waiting for our excellent server to return. He asked how everything was (he had to notice two plates still covered with food) and we politely told him. I ate one enchilada and some rice. My wife had two bites of egg and two bites of potato. He apologized and handed me the check. $65. Nothing comped and nothing adjusted. A manager should've been summoned. How does a place like this have any customers? It was our first and last visit.

It's a small space, with only around eight tables and a tiny kitchen behind the counter. It's a bit hard to locate from outside. When I got there, four of the eight tables were empty but the dirty dishes had not yet been cleared. It took close to 10 minutes for the tables to be bused. Because the kitchen is so small, I'd recommend going up to the counter to order as soon as you get there.
