They make some great roasted potatoes here and it's a decent sized meal to grab during their brunch special for cheap. It can get pretty busy, so be mindful what time of day you plan on coming here. Really not good. Came for the yelp reviews and we just wanted a good burger. We should have known when they didn't even ask how we wanted our burgers cooked. The burger was so thin and over cooked, every bite came with a crunch. Do not get the burger! We also ordered the rhino fries which had this dark beer flavored gravy and cheese on it- nothing to rave about. The peach cobbler for dessert also missed the mark and had WAY too much nutmeg in it that it was inedible. The only good thing was the Cesar salad. read more

Don't be afraid to go upstairs :-) We were walking around Jasper looking for dinner after our first choice was really expensive and didn't offer anything my teenager was interested in. We read their posted menus and walked upstairs. Upon reaching the restaurant floor we were pleased with the views and airy, contemporary layout. Their Italiano pizza starter plus a cup of tortilla soup (soup du jour) suited my teenager for dinner. My spouse was happy with the $3 beer special. His chicken tacos were well garnished and a big step over Taco Bell style tacos. It would've been nice to have three tacos, however for $16. He was able to have a Caesar salad in lieu of fries. I opted for the chicken sandwich with fig and sautéed apples on a ciabatta roll. Although an odd combination, it was really good. We had good and cheerful server as well. Had to give them 5 stars on all levels. We had the Philly cheesesteak and garlic fries with parmesan ranch dip. Both were perfect and would definitely order again. My husband ordered the hamburger and we thought it was very good. Son ordered the Italia pizza, not a bite left. And daughter ordered Korean bibimbap and she loved it as well. We ordered the pink lemonade and lime mojito from the bar and they were some of the best made ones we have ever had. Kristen was our bartender as well as our waitstaff. Originally it was not busy but by the time our food came she was slammed but still continue to take care of us even through all that. The sticky toffee desert was a nice finish to our dinner - we had 2 and almost licked our plat clean. Give the place a try! Stopped in for a lunch on a crazy cold day. The wood fire smell is very inviting. The service was good and like all Earls the happy hour menu was great. The Jasper layout with retro pics is pretty cool. They also made reservations for us for the next day after a day of skiing. Which is nice to know you have a place to eat after a day working up an appetite. Dinner was awesome. Service was good. The shrimp and scallop pasta was amazing. Came here for lunch while driving from Edmonton to Vancouver. Earls is a pretty standard institution in Edmonton so I already knew what I wanted to order, which was the Santa Fe Chicken Salad. Sadly, the salad was lacking freshness. Some of the greens were overwilted so I had to pick them out, the avocado - overripened and brown in some areas, not to mention small in portion size, and the chicken was overly spiced. My fiance ordered a steak which was nothing special. He didn't even touch the beans and potatoes that accompanied the dish. The Blue Jays were playing so the place was busy with patrons watching the game. Thankfully, our server was pretty good, and friendly, with an Aussie accent. Washrooms could use some tidying up. All in all, a mediocre Earls to go to. But the positive are the nice views of the mountains from the dining area. read more

Nice little spot on the second floor in the heart of Jasper. We came during happy hour, and they have just about every food item imaginable on special. We were attracted to the place by the good energy from the second floor deck. We had to sit inside but there are nice views inside too. Staff were super friendly and the music was lively. We enjoyed the cucumber mojita. It was refreshing and delightful. The double special was appreciated. The chicken tacos were amazing. The mixture of textures and flavors were distinctive. The pizza is thin crust but it came soggy and not that great. The fresh tomatoes and cheese were flavorful so we enjoyed it. I wouldn't order the pizza again though. When I was told this place was a "chain" restaurant, I was a little disappointed. I also didn't really like how the menu seemed all over the place -- Chinese, Korean, Indian, Italian, etc. Usually, that is a sign that a restaurant is doing too much. Initially, I really couldn't decide on what to order bc it didn't seem right ordering Bibimbap or a Kung Pao noodle bowl from a place called "Earls" (which sounds so authentically Asian). I settled on the chicken, brie, and fig sandwich with a side salad. My meal was pretty good. My salad had cheese and grape halves, which I thought were nice details. The flavors of my sandwich tasted great together too. Not that this matters, but I was kind of intrigued by the story of the staff here. I didn't think much of it initially, but my first thought when I saw our (male) server was "What's up with the Abercrombie model?" I decided to bug my bf about our "hot" server, which made the experience even more entertaining. =) read more

Great spot in Jasper. Came here with the fam for dinner around 7 pm and the place was packed. Great ambiance - incredibly bright and lively. The decor was modern and classy. We only had to wait for a few minutes before a table was available. The hostess was friendly and our waitress was very professional and organized. We ordered the Jamaican jerk chicken, scallop/prawn linguine, bibimbap, shortribs, and the garlic fries. The food was served quickly, without any hiccups. The garlic fries were great - well seasoned with lots of garlicky goodness. The entrees were all very solid. The Jamaican jerk chicken was especially good. Overall, an excellent experience at Earl's. These guys were troopers for dealing with our loud and obnoxious group. They kindly let us surprise the birthday boy with a cake we brought in ourselves and endured us singing "Happy Birthday" three times. Our table was around 15 people with one server, what a champ. All meals were delicious - your normal Earls food. Out of 15, only 2 meals needed a slight change - nothing to cry over and easily fixed. The Caesars were top notch! Big slice of pickle with a stick of jerky, yum! And when I asked for spicy they gave me spicy. I do appreciate a good spicy Caesar. Anyone remember when Earls had a Mediterranean Linguini dish on their menu? IT NEEDS TO COME BACK. I'm not going to lie, I've put Earls on the back burner for the last few years because of bad experiences. I was not expecting much, but I am glad I was dragged out for it. This Earls brought it back to a positive light. Awesome view since this location is on the top floor with walls and walls of windows overlooking the mountains and the main street. A group of 6 of us went for breakfast right when the restaurant opened. The service was pretty slow and it took 40 minutes for us to get our food from the time we ordered. When we did finally get our food, 5 out of 6 meals were cold. The server did not offer any sort of discount but told us the food had just been made so it could not be cold, and obviously did not mention our complaint to the manager. We have been to many other Earl's locations and normally enjoy everything. Disappointing to say the least. read more

Wasn't expecting much since Earl's is pretty consistent across its chain, but maybe it's the gorgeous mountain view encircling this location that makes it stand out. Scratch that, it definitely is. The restaurant is located upstairs in the building, with the bar at the centre of the room and tables spread out around the periphery and wrap-around patio. Would've been fantastic to come in the summer and sit outside, admiring the view! My steak was cooked perfectly and was nice and tender, the best I've had in awhile. After a long day Earl's was a great choice for dinner. We had the Kung Pao Noodle Bowl with only vegetables and the Bacon Cheddar Burger - both were very good. Great and friendly service. Got a nice table next to the window with a view of the mountains. The Rhino IPA was good and a great special price at $5 Canadian for 18oz! Curry special was very good. Full rack of BBQ ribs very tasty and fall off the bone tender but quite pricey at $18 Canadian for rack of 10. Cole slaw and potatoes were really good. A great place to visit in Jasper. Nice wine selection at the bar which we had while waiting for an outside table because it's very noisy inside. Get there by 6 pm and order from the happy hour menu....same select dishes as regular dinner menu but reduced prices. The teriyaki chicken rice bowl was very good as was the fish and chips. Honest to god, I loved this place. I did a bit of research through Yelp, then asked a few locals what they thought & all recommended it. Drink deals are always a winner, especially when they include palomas. Yum. The clam chowder was stellar - which I wasn't anticipating. Their Caesar salad with Cajun chicken was a nice break from the typical Caesar. If you do nothing else, eat the bread that comes with either the soup or salad. It was INCREDIBLE. I'm sure it's absolutely terrible for you, but oh-my-golly tasty. While outdoor seating would've lent a better view of the mighty Rockies, our table in the center of the window-ed room worked just as well for me. Great service and the place was hopping. This was our go-to spot when we were in Jasper for a week. The menu here offers a wide variety and the quality of the food is top notch! I was craving curry after days of burgers, pasta and pizza, and this place had the most amazing Jeera Chicken Curry I've ever had. It's served along side rice with some bread as well. Mr. H throughly enjoyed his salmon and burger on the two days we went there. I also tried the chipotle chicken which was good although a little too salty for my taste. Mr. H seemed to think there was nothing wrong so it's probably differs person to person. All in all this is a great place to go to, they have daily specials as well. Sometimes $5 wine/ beer and sometimes wings/ribs. So go ahead and place your order, the food will meet your expectations for sure! read more

This was the first place where I was able to get a healthy, fresh, paleo-ish, vegan meal after spending a week in Banff/Jasper. And with only one modification from the dish on the menu! I got the kung pao noodles with tofu and extra veggies instead of noodles. There were also plenty of burgers, steaks, etc on the menu as well for family members who were less inclined to go veg. They actually have a lot of options here - its like asian fusion meets gastropub - tuna handrolls and chicken curry as well as sandwiches and chicken wings. Usually that's a sign the restaurant is trying to do too much, but they managed to more or less pull it off. Given the lack of options in the area, can't go wrong with this place. read more

Earls is awesome. As with Samir, I had the Jeera Chicken Curry. Spectacular. And it came with naan that was fresh-baked in their wood-fired oven - some of the best naan I've ever had. Incredible. My wife got their daily special, tandori chicken. She loved it. Oldest daughter got the Mediterranean linguine with shrimp, and loved it. I tasted it and enjoyed it. Youngest daughter got her usual - mac and cheese masquerading as penne alfredo. Very nice taste, great cheesy taste, definitely not box-style. But the best part of the meal - dessert, of course. Home-made s'mores. And I don't mean they put the stuff together themselves. I mean they MADE everything themselves. House made marshmallows, house made graham crackers, house made gelato (which comes on the side). This is the dessert against which all others in my life will be measured. Spectacular. If you are in town, you have to come here for the s'mores if nothing else. The service was top-notch, as well. She was very attentive - always refilling our coffees before they got to the bottom - but not over the top. And the management knows how to treat their customers. My neices were celebrating their birthdays when we were there (twins). We mentioned it in passing to the waitress. Their s'mores were on the house, but the best part was they put lit sparklers on them when they brought them out. It made their day. I cannot recommend this place more highly. I have eaten here before and it was great. This time was to die for as well. We started with the spinach dip and bread. This dish is awesome, the dip has kind of a cheezyness to it so it really has a nice taste to it. The calamari was ok and looked great but next time I will just get two spinach dips. After that I had the kung pao level 4 with chicken and my wife had the level 3 with tofu. Level 4 was not to bad so if you really like spicey stuff. Maybe step it up to a level 6. I had been previously advised that Jasper lacks much in the way of restaurant value. Mostly pub food choices on the two main streets Patrica and Connaught. The meal at Earls turned out about as predicted in several other reviews. The place was not full on the Sunday afternoon I arrived but I was advised of a 15 minute wait. The seating staff seemed confused. The delay was from unprepared tables. The waiter did a sharp job of taking the order and provided good service throughout the meal. He advised that in Canada all hamburger is cooked to the well done degree without exception. In spite of this the $15 Better Burger was eatible. Fries were thin cut and crispy. Salads were very pricy as we're most of the other main entrees but this is an isolated tourist community. High prices are to be expected. Earls delivers just an average dining experience. Pay the money and eat the sandwich. read more

Recommended by our B&B hostess, we chose this local's favorite as our dinner option for our 3rd night at this cute town of Jasper. Casual and fun ambience combined with a variety of menu options made us happy! We decided to only order starters as we wanted to try different flavors. The Chilli chicken and wonton was best of the lot and so were the Dynamite rolls (make sure to ask for the soya sauce while ordering).
