    Fireplace getting some love.

If you visit, try the blueberry tea. I don't know which brand of liquors they use, but it's easily the most spectacular I have ever had. They even properly warm the glass for you. If you are snacky, ask if you can order the room service popcorn. Good lord. A huge basket overflowing with tasty bits. I can say that I have had great meals and I have had less than good meals on a few occasions over the years. Right now I am accompanying my S.O. At a conference, and I've sat here for almost 45 minutes. (Although I AM on the other side of the fireplace in the casual area that is partially taken over by conference trade show tables), I usually get service here, and I haven't seen a single server. I'm sure this older gentleman in a suit and name tag will be ... never mind. I have found most often, service to be better on off-hours rather than mealtime rush. Guess I'll meander back to the room and return when there's less chaos about.

Great room, pretty good service, over priced in places but worth the $$ in others. I visit here once or twice a year mainly for the Maple Old Fashioned from the bar and for a stroll around the grounds. We always try something new off the menu but it can be hit or miss. The wild mushrooms on toast with a soft sous vide egg was the highlight this time! The dressing on the elk burger was wonderful however the patty itself was a bit bland and heavy on the onions. $11 for a sleeve of draught hurts but their signature cocktails are worth it! Spend the extra $5 to get your whiskey/bourbon smoked table side!

Incredible lunch on the balcony enjoying their own craft beer called Roof Top Honey Lager the local bees provide the honey from the beehives on top of the Jasper Park Lodge. Started off with the squash soup and tomato carrot bisque soup, both of these were excellent. I also had a steak sandwich which was incredible on grilled sourdough bread. All in all it was a great lunch, our server was also very atentive.

Inside the Fairmont Jasper Lodge. Sat by the massive fireplace with a view of the lake. The assortment of our dishes made it even better! Arugula salad w/crispy brie, classic Caesar salad, Short rib poutine, mushroom sedatini pasta and scallop carbonara finished w/ lemon tart! Service warm and friendly.

The Jasper Park Lodge has begun upgrading their interior decor, and the Emerald Lounge is benefitting from a MUCH needed facelift. With such a spectacular vista, the room should be just as lovely. Drinks are pricey, but well made. I had the Vesper Martini, and although not as lemony as I thought it would be, was smooth and delicious, and icy cold. The little "snack" that is complimentary is out-of-the-bag pretzels. Not exactly what I would have expected from a Fairmont hotel, but it's free, so you can't complain too much!! Serving staff is knowledgeable, although a little cold. Our server warmed up towards the end of our brief visit.

    This beer is outstanding!

This place a great quiet little resort just out of Jasper. The lodge itself is great but the prices for food and beverage are over the top. Having said that I had the best ever beer I have ever had in my life! The Roof Top Honey Lager is made in Calgary by a local brewery using honey from the beehives on top of the Jasper Park Lodge. If you are ever in Jasper you have to try it!

I was really looking forward to coming here because it was our first stop in Alberta, and our first meal out & about. The service was okay, she was attentive but not a great conversationalist. I got the Bison burger which I found to be pretty flavorful so I was impressed. However, my friends got the poutine and the gravy that they use for this poutine was pretty awful....neither of them were close to even finishing half of it. Definitely wasn't a fan of that.

The great view didn't make up for the $25 hockey puck on a roll I was served.

After a long hike in the rain we were ready for a tasty meal with drinks!…read more Since this place had great reviews we took a chance and wern't disappointed. I have to admit I may of groaned a bit climbing the flight of stairs up to the restaurant after a verticle climb up a mountain earlier, however the trek up was worth it. We were seated right away, and greated by Maddy soon after although wern't ready to place our drink orders quite yet. After a bit we had moved onto the menu choices where Maddy hadnt come back and was having a casual chat for a while with the bar tender so I walked over and asked to place our drink orders. Since they wern't busy and we were thirsty we were both a tad annoyed as we felt a little forgotten. I ordered the Cabernet and my guy the Rhino Hazy IPA draft. My wine was delishious although pricey for an 8oz glass. We both agreed the IPA was a bit heavy on the citrus notes so my guy opted for the The Apex Predator Ale on the next round which was much better. The food came out quickly where I had the Truffle Tortellini with cajun shrimp with Maddy's suggestion and it was SO good! My guy had the Alfredo with chicken which to both of us was a bit bland. After a while of the food being dropped off Maddy came around where we asked for some salt and pepper and parmesan which did help the alfredo dish. I ordered a second glass of 5oz wine, less than the already costly 8oz pour but our server brought the 8oz pour. She apologized when I told her was pretty sure I ordered the 5oz but told her I would just keep it. This place has good food, a nice kind of trendy atmosphere which is updated and stylish, with a good menu. Our service wasn't top notch but have had way worse and we thought Maddy was nice at least. The food and drinks are pricey but would definitely return.

Great food, great service, good time!…read more Only issue is that the prawn appetizer seemed a bit steep for 4 prawns. Josh at the bar was awesome!

Somewhere between 4 and 5 stars for our happy hour experience…read more We sat on the patio initially and it was lovely but the afternoon sun came in hot and heavy and we moved inside. Seating inside it swank and comfy. Lots of configurations and a stellar window view of the lake is the spot to have. Service is cold but efficient. We had some questions about the menu and she went to get answers but didn't seem too excited to be asked. For dinner it's three tables of varying size so not crazy busy at 6pm mid week. The cheese plate was exceptional. Had a cider and the lavender mocktail was really fresh and delicious. The dinner menu wasn't a huge draw and we had hiked here from downtown. I'd come back on a return trip.

Lovely dining experience!. Service is impeccable…read more Ambiance with the Pyramid Lake as it's focal point is just fantastic. We were lucky to get a table at the window as there are only a few with lake views and they are all 2 seaters. We started with the Caesar salad which is unlike a traditional Caesar and I quite prefer this version as it has more interesting flavors and textures. Plus the chef didn't drown it in dressing. I enjoyed the duck entree and the husband had the steelhead. Both were very tasty and I'd recommend either depending your mood. We finished with the Pavlova and berries dessert which was a perfect ending to a lovely meal along with strong, hot black coffee. It Hit The Spot! Would definitely come back should we find ourselves in Jasper again. Cheers!
