This lead to service being a bit slower than I'd have liked, but it was made up for with their accommodation. It was a busy evening when we stopped by Jasper Brewing. We luckily had no wait and were seated at the end of one of the longer high top tables. There were only 2 of us so that made seating us quicker. We got the pretzel and cast iron nachos to share. The pretzel is huge and I preferred the cheese sauce. The nachos were way too much for two people but were also really good. I would recommend these after a day of hiking. There were many beers on tap and if we had had more time in the area I would have stopped by again. I would recommend Jasper brewing though it does get busy and loud so be prepared for that! I came here on an early Thursday evening to try the beer and have some dinner. I got a sampler of 6 beers and genuinely liked all of them (some more than others of course); I particularly liked the session IPA, the stout, and the tangerine beer. My dinner was really delicious, Korean fried chicken sandwich with a side of poutine, both were so flavorful! The ambiance here is "loud and packed." I sat at the bar and the bartender was slammed so service was slow and not overly friendly, but he was nice and polite and I wasn't in a rush so I didn't mind too much. I drank about half of my beers and then ordered food and once I ordered, my dinner came out pretty quick. Overall, I would come back here again. read more

We split the elk meatloaf. Hearty, with a gentle gaminess, served with a lovely sauce. The really generous slice was a welcome treat post-hike, topped with crispy waffle-cut chips! I wish the other dish elements served with it were just as carefully considered (I think we had one-half a wilted bok choy). Naturally, there's a giant beer selection, both their own brews and those from other local breweries. A few of their taps had run dry, notably their Jasper the Bear Ale. A good sign, I think! I'm not a fan of IPAs so I didn't end up finishing my flight. Thankfully, my partner did for me. Staff was very friendly and loved our dog. The food was good. There was a hummus appetizer thing that was amazing. My halumi salad was not that great - just two tiny pieces of halumi. The staff is nice and you can go for the novelty. Overall we had a good experience. The inside of the restaurant was extremely crowded and smelled a bit muggy. We sat outside and glad we did. Nice view of the mountain. Communal tables. Be prepared to sit with strangers if you have a small group. Our waitress became very busy and didn't check on us at the end, which we understand. Wished they had more IPA on draft. I had the bison taco appetizer, it came with three pretty big soft toasted tacos. Topped with shredded bison and cabbage coleslaw. It was delicious and it was big enough for a meal. My Hubs had the Jerry burger. It was very good, I don't generally like burgers but this one was amazing, with Gouda cheese and a spicy tomato jam, so yummy. We also had a beer flight which was quite good and we found 3 beers we really liked. A session IPA, something called the bear and a stout that were particularly good. Of all the patios that have been created on the main street of Jasper to allow people to take part in outdoor dining during Covid, this one has to be one of the most welcoming. We stopped here for dinner on a weeknight in September and it was super busy, but we were able to get a table outdoors. Despite having a full set of tables to deal with our server was wonderful, and figured out how to use my Yelp check-in offer, even though she hadn't seen one before. We were a little cold but someone came out to turn on the heater next to us, and we got quick refills on our beer or water when they were empty. I got the fish and chips and it was really solid - nice crispy batter without being too greasy, and hot and satisfying after hiking for a few hours previously. I also love the beer here. I've purchased it a few times from liquor stores and it was a pleasure to have some fresh, and with different varieties than what is available in Edmonton. All in all, an enjoyable meal, and I'll be back next time I'm in Jasper. read more

I had to ask for hot sauce. My husband thought his burger was decent but not outstandish. However the duck was very tender and delicous and it was really filling. We got the Fried Chicken Sandwich and the Emilio. Both were delicious. I think the Emilio was my favorite. The chicken was a little hard to eat because they were small chunks and it fell apart. My biggest complaint about the food was the fries. They were stale and cold like they had been left sitting out for a while. We got our food quickly.
