I didn't realize that this was a chain restaurant but it was surprisingly delicious! The cocktails are innovative and yummy. They also have specials for each day. We ordered the Blackened Chicken and it was juicy and seasoned perfectly. We also ordered the Tuna Poke Bowl and it satisfied my craving for seafood. We loved everything and will definitely check it out again! read more

Had their Santa Fe chicken salad and it was delicious! Service was also good. Will be back!

This place was amazing when it came to staff , the gentleman who waited us was so welcoming and friendly. He made me and my plus one feel very welcomed . The happy hour was definitely a great deal , perfect after a long day of skiing and wanting to eat great meal to celebrate . Ambience was great from outside to inside . read more

This is my second Earl's experience and it was comparable to the first (in Canmore). We came at happy hour which lasts until 6pm. We ordered the garlic fries again, which are always delicious. Also we had margherita pizza (it is a tiny 8inch personal pizza) which was super delicious and tasted so fresh. The crust is thin and crispy. Lastly we got the spinach dip. While the ciabatta bread was nice, the spinach dip was much too salty-none of us could handle more than a small spoon of it. Service and atmosphere here is lovely as usual with this chain in my experience. I'd definitely recommend (and tons of vegetarian options for happy hour, non-happy hour, and brunch). read more

Possibly the best pizza I've ever had. Decent Sevice. Great happy hour pricing 2pm to 5pm.

Food and drinks and service are generally lovely. Perhaps go any other day than a Monday. The children that work here run this place unsupervised and are fun to watch but the music and drama goes from one vibe to another, glaringly loud to soft. Food sometimes comes out on time. Sometimes it doesn't. But won't give it less than five for the youth who are really just having fun while their parents are away. Great vibes. Will be back next time I'm in town. read more

Great ambience and good food, a go-to for business lunches. I like the Diverse menu with healthy choices. This is a chain in Canada with restaurants in most major west coast cities read more

Got into town super late and needed a quick dinner. This is one of the few places opened late. From the outside you'd think the place is closed due to the dark sign on the second floor but when you open the door to go up the stairs, you'd immediately hear the pumping music. I got excited and was digging the vibe but unfortunately that was short lived. We walked up to the host's podium and waited to be seated. NO ONE greeted or acknowledged our existence! So many waiters and waitresses passed by us, three staff members at the cash register sorting out a bill, a dude drying a stack of glasses, bartender doing his thing. We had to ask the gentleman that came up before us if we were suppose to seat ourselves or if he had already been helped. He said he's been waiting to be seated too. We decided to go up to one of the staff members to ask but was rudely responded with "someone will be right with you"- yuck. Our waiter was kind so that was good. He recommended a few items on the menu and took our order. As we wait for the food, you see no smiling faces from the servers. Everyone looked way too busy to put a smile on their faces. The chefs look just as tired if not more. If it wasn't for the upbeat music playing and the loud chit chats, not sure if anyone them would make it through their shifts. I ordered a salad with no cheese and add chicken. They forgot my chicken and when it came, it was only a few pieces. The chicken was dry beyond belief that i got the hiccups! Had to ask for extra dressing to drench it! Totally not worth the additional price added. The bf ordered the happy hour pizza and that was decent just like the Hawaiian coconut prawn. The sauce they paired with the prawn was great, especially with my chicken "jerky"! The whole dining experience wasn't the best but if you need a bite to eat, this is a nice place that's open late, can accommodate large parties but if you want a quick bite- walk across the street to Circle K. We did, just to be satisfied with our dinner. read more

So far, this is our favorite place for dinner in Jasper. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious. The clam chowder and garlic prowns pasta were excellent. The prices are also quite reasonable for such a touristy place like Jasper. The place gets very busy in the evening (when we showed up without the reservation on Fri night we found a line of 10-15 people waiting at the door) so make reservations in advance. read more

What an incredible place to get lunch to soak in the sunshine and beautiful mountain peaks surrounding Jasper. Our party had lunch on the upper balcony under the shade of an umbrella table. The Cajun Chicken Cheddar Sandwich is literally the best chicken sandwich I have ever had the please to enjoy. The quality of food here is really incredible and quite surprising given how small this town is. The only area to improve is the service, the servers are not very attentive at all. We ordered bread as an appetizer which was brought out with the main entrees. Given how good the food is I will still give it five stars. If it was just for service it would be two stars. read more

Nice place, great server except she was very busy so we did have to wait a bit to order a dessert to share. We were not familiar with Earls and came here after we asks an English young woman working at the Skytram where to eat. It looks like there are several good choices in Jasper though pretty spendy which I guess you should expect at a tourist town. We were there during happy hour so they had a few things for a smaller price than normal. Got a Asian Taco w/fried prawn on it as an appetizer and loved it! If I hadn't ordered my meal already I would have gotten more of those as they were very small but delicious! Spouse loved the hamburger and fries, and another companion enjoyed their Margarita pizza. We shared a Toffy chocolate pudding dessert which was very good too but needed more toffy! Yum! read more

Admittedly, a group of 8 is always hard to seat, but we called ahead of time and when they said they had a table for 8, booked it to the restaurant. Ultimately, they said they were unable to seat us for the whole night, when they don't take reservations past 6pm. The restaurant closes at midnight. The hostess came off as extremely rude and short. I looked around, and we were the only non-white group. I have not felt singled out in a long time, but just goes to say how poor the customer service is at this establishment. read more

My husband and I went for happy hour. He had a great local craft hazy. I had delicious red sangria. We ordered the Mexican corn/guacamole dip and a couple of tacos. The menu was great. We only went for snacks but I saw many items I would order for dinner. The service was good and everyone was friendly. We sat outside and since the restaurant is on the second floor had nice views. read more

Waited almost 20 mins and no one came to our table. This was at 530 on a Thursday and very uncrowded. We got up and left.

Its a sports bar and extremely noisy; they had the two big screen TVs turned up very loudly; we could not have a conversation at the table. read more

My favorite meal in Jasper was brunch at Earl's. Moreover, it has a brunch happy hour from 11 AM to noon when all brunch dishes are $9 each. I ordered the Avocado Super Smash, which is basically avocado toast with an egg on top. The poached eggs were perfect. The runny yolk oozed on to the avocado toast. The avocado was fresh and delicious. The dish came with a side salad. The hemp seeds went great with the lettuce. I also ordered a side of the potatoes. They were awesome and the skin was crisp. The green juice was good too. However, it was very sweet so probably not as healthy as it sounds. I promised myself that I won't give this place less than 4 stars as indeed the guys are trying to make it better! I ordered medium rare steak there which indeed was delicious but it was not medium rare. It was medium done if not well done at all. I indicated this to the server and refused to have it re-done because otherwise the server will be responsible. But believe me even this steak was awesome! The service was really great and overall the atmosphere was fantastic! So basically the place deserves 4 and may be 4+ Next time I'm in Jasper, I will definitely pay a visit there! read more

Phenomenal place. First came for happy hour after 9pm for drinks and some calamari and truffle fries. It was so good we came back the next day to try the burger and chicken tacos which were equally as good. Great atmosphere inside and out. Highly recommended! read more

Waitress nice and efficient. Chicken wings weee tiny but good. Burger was small meat, but good. Music too loud.

We had dinner at Earl's while on our trip to Jasper. Really good veggie burger, which many of us enjoyed. They also had a number of other veggie-friendly options which we enjoyed. The service and ambiance was great - very lively even for it being pretty late at night in a small-time village. Everyone is on vacation though, so it makes sense. Someone also had tried some Asian food, which they enjoyed as well. read more

Two stars for food, but rounding up to 3 since the server and manager were responsive. I was craving rice and read on Yelp that Earl's does Asian fusion well so we came here for lunch before driving through Jasper back to Banff. A hotel concierge said it's a chain so she didn't mention it at first, but said it's good if we've never tried Earl's. This was the first bad meal we had on our trip, and I wished we went straight to sightseeing Jasper rather than wasting our time at Earl's. I got the Filipino egg over rice in a stonepot. My partner got the chicken fingers, and the server recommended the garlic fries which cost extra so we upgraded our fries. The garlic fries were served lukewarm. The Filipino rice pot didn't have much rice, and all the rice was drowned in the ketchup bibimbap red bean paste. It was hard to eat so they remade the rice bowl with sauce on the side as well as the fries for us. The garlic fries were much better hot. The chicken fingers were very hard and dry like they were overfried, but we didn't send that one back. We appreciated that the manager came over to apologize and gave us a discount on our meal. read more

Earls - our affordable savior.. Did you notice that most restaurants in Jasper are on the expensive side? The place was a breath of relief in a pricey town. Although Earls as a chain (but a reliable one), it was nice to find good food at reasonable prices for dinner. And, if you make it during happy hour, a whole lot of the menu is discounted even more. Nice, friendly service and tasty food. We were happy patrons that night. read more

What a beautiful brunch we had today at Earls! Raj was our server and he really provided us with a wonderful dining experience. The outdoor seating is so scenic and relaxing. Great food, menu was varied. Start we're also good, even if some of the guys spent too much time fixing their hair

Earl's tries to be almost everything for almost everyone and they get it done. I get it, the clientele is extremely varied except the one thing we have in common: somehow we can afford to be here in Jasper. Thus it is stylish with great views and the dishes are familiar but certainly not boring. Happy hours are nice from three to six, where I saved a few bucks on some coconut prawns, a nice dish of Kung Pao noodles and a couple of glasses of sangria. The prawns were tasty if not gigantic. I asked for one pepper Kung pao (the wimpiest) but it still packed lots of flavor. The sangria was refreshing with strawberries and apple chunks. It's a place that manages to satisfy both millennials and older folk, which is hard. Perhaps it seems to have the best qualities of a casual chain without the cheesiness and with much better food. It's a bit spendy (bill for 2 - $80 CAD) but shit, yer on vacation, or holiday as most of the Aussies I run into here would put it. A must try in Jasper. read more

First night in Jasper, and we may have been tied and hangry from the sightseeing drive from Banff (lots of stops and small hikes). So, maybe this was not good first choice. Bugs TVs (quiet) with sports, 20 minute wait (prime dining time) and wrong choice of food...not a good mix. I think we were expecting something a little less active. We only got a salad and mistakenly ordered rid crispers instead of BBQ ribs. Crisp/meager meat offering. Salad was good. Wine was good. Had we known it was a tavern and tavern food, would have skipped. read more

A bunch of stars just for the ceasar dressing. I was here last summer with Es and she wanted to come back for the ceaser. She has the Cajun salmon but swapped the rice for the salad. And then proceedes to try to get the ceaser dressing recipe from any staff member who wandered within 10 feet. I had bebimbap which I have had at other locations. Love that it comes in a stone bowl read more

If you like Earl's, then you'll love this location! Earl's is a pretty consistent chain restaurant. Doesn't seem to matter which one you hit, the food quality is usually pretty good and this Earl's is no different. There is a fantastic wrap around balcony with lovely mountain views, perfect in the summer. They do have a pretty large staircase to get upstairs though, so people with mobility issues unfortunately should avoid this restaurant. Sometimes, when you just want to eat, but you don't want to try somewhere new for fear it won't be good, it's nice to have the option of somewhere familiar. Also, the prices here are exactly the same as the city, so you don't feel like you're getting gouged. read more

Really enjoyed this place. I think they've got Asian fusion down pat--it's definitely authentic enough but has some interesting twists. We came around 7:30 on a Sunday and asked to be seated at the patio, but the people before us took the last table! Alright, here's the breakdown: FOOD: 5/5 Delicious. I went with some family and friends and we ordered: Chicken BiBimBap, Tofu BiBimBap, Quinoa + Avocado Salad, King Pao Noodles, Jeera Curry, and Fettucine Alfredo. The serving sizes are just right, and they were all extremely tasty! Only downside is that it costs extra to add meat/tofu to the BiBimBap. Oh, we also got Garlic Fries ($6) which was the BOMB DIGGITY but it was really small. PRICE: 5/5 Yeah, it's definitely a hard two dollar signs, but for the food you're getting, I think it's worth it. SERVICE: 5/5 Great service! Our waitress continually checked on us, and she was very consistent coming back to give us water. The host and other staff members were kind and created a great atmosphere to enjoy an awesome meal. If I ever come back to Jasper (or if I end up in the cities of their other few locations), I'm definitely going to be eating Earl's! read more

All the standards of an Earls, but with spectacular views of the Rocky's! While the interior is really shabby (for an Earls) the absolutely stunning panoramic views of the Rocky Mountains are amazing! It was smart thinking to put the restaurant on the top level (shops below) so that you get clear, uninterrupted views on multiple sides. There is a nice little terrace patio and a lounge. The bar has a few seats up at it, but not many. The food is definitely up to Earls standards. We had an awesome waiter (whom I think was also the bartender) and he took great care of us. When we walked in I noticed that a Famoso has opened up across the street... I do love Famoso, but with zero view, I think I am picking Earls every time! That's the whole point of coming to Jasper, no?! read more

This place has a yuppy atmosphere and an interesting menu with a lot of variety. Someone said this was suitable for kids, but they don't have a kids menu. Nevertheless my nephews chowed down. We shared nachos and guacamole with chips. For the guac, the waiter mashed two avocado halves in front of us. We ended up ordering a second order of guac. For myself I chose the chicken, fig, apple, and brie sandwich. It came with fries and I enjoyed it. They also had non-alcoholic cocktails so I got passion fruit limeade. It was okay, but didn't seemed mixed well. Jasper can feel located in the middle of nowhere in the Rockies of Canada, but this restaurant made me feel like this location had life to it with normal experiences. Prices not cheap and not expensive. read more

We lucked out and snagged an outdoor table with no wait on a busy Saturday evening (after three days of rain it was nice to be outside on a relatively nice night). Our meals were good - the salmon on cedar plank was moist, not over cooked and the mustard sauce tasty. The pizza had a nice thin crust, though it could have been crispier, with lots of meat toppings. Overall a lovely experience. August 2014 read more
