I will start with the staff and owner - Richard is a great guy with an appropriate demeanor for a business as his. The staff is friendly and the shop is always clean. Nothing worse than taking expensive vehicles to a dirty shop with shady characters running around. These guys are always friendly and informative. Now, what really matters, the tuning - I've had two different vehicles tuned here. First was an Escalade with a supercharger and the most recent, my cts-vsport. The Escalade was an amazing transformation coming in at 400 AWD HP. Of course it's still a very heavy vehicle and not a track star, but what an fun time it is to have that much power in a tank! For the CTS, not only did we get over 450hp and 450tq at the wheels, but the transmission tuning is incredible as well. The "sport" mode actually feels sporty now and "track" mode is downright nasty. I have to stay consciously aware of my speed at all times as it not only gets to speed so damned quickly now, it is also so much more fun to get there!! From the seat o' pants meter, it actually feels quicker than my previous CTS-V. This is what the Vsport should be like from the manufacturer - and I assume what the ATS-V is going to be like. So, if you think you're in need of more speed (who isn't?), then get in there and don't bother with anyone else. read more

I've gotta say I'm absolutely enthralled with Dyno Comp. I put my Miata on coilovers and took it to the Big O Tires down the road from (who I trusted at the time) me for a simple alignment. After getting my car back and it driving no better (worse if anything) I decided that I was going to take it here where a lot of my friends had brought their cars for tuning and were overly satisfied with the service and work they received. They were quick to get me started from the moment I walked in and quick to get my car back into my hands rather than the normal countless hours you'd spend waiting at any other shop. Mike was completely professional and very thorough with how he explains things. I'm not sure of the name of the tech who worked on my car there but he is also outstanding as the car drives straight as an arrow now, considering how low it is, and he was extremely detailed and specific in his notes which is more than appreciated. The biggest thing I can appreciate as well was that there was no obvious sales pitch at the end for trivial items or services. They have earned my respect, my business, and my trust. Had issues getting an appointment on such short notice with other tuners and the guys at Dyno Comp got me in with no problem, during the dyno tune Rich found some boost and vacuum leaks and called to let me know that he was fixing them and would run the dyno once they were complete. Rich and every other person are especially helpful and knowledgeable about everything from Chevy to Subaru and whatever else you could think of. When I got back to California where I live and my car threw a CEL they were extremely helpful over the phone trying to troubleshoot with me and pinpointed the problem just from how I described it! 12/10 would recommend taking your business to Rich and all the guys at DynoComp!!! I've worked with Rich and the team at Dyno-Comp over many years with various project cars. I've always been glad I did. Each car had different challenges and Rich made it his mission to see it right on each. Recently I did a build at a different shop, who I thought were Corvette experts. They left me hanging with a number of tuning issues, including fixing cold starts, and a dip (not a flat spot, a dip) in the torque curve right where I drive it. I took it to Dyno-Comp where they were able to clean all that up and even added some power. What I was amazed to see is the amount of changes in the tune that had to be made. A big thanks to Richard at Dyno-Comp for fixing my boost issue in my Porsche 996 Turbo. I took my car to 3 different shops in the last year and know one could figure out my issue with my car (but they had no problem charging me lol), it took Richard 1 hour on the dyno to find my problem. I would like to thank Rich and his gang for an excellent job on my 2004 Corvette. His shop did a head, cam, and header install for me along with a tune. They quoted me a price and ran into some extra troubleshooting hours which cost Rich a considerable amount of money. Everyone was nice enough. They got my car in pretty quick. Only downside( and a big one) was that we( My son and I) were told we could watch the dyno runs, that way I could video it. Well they did the dyno runs without asking us if we would like to go see. And it wasn't until they had begun unstrapping the car, that the guy at the front desk offered to show us back to where the dyno was at. My son was rather disappointed. I took my 2013 Subaru STI into Dynocomp to have them install a downpipe and cat back exhaust along with a tune. I cannot say enough great things about this shop. The owner Richard and Aeoniel are class acts. They custom tuned by car to 280 wheel horsepower and 300 wheel lbs/ft torque. The car sounds and runs amazing. I have a 2004 Subaru WRX STi. Dynocomp has done quite a bit of work on it to give it 350 whp. I've had other shops work on my car with regards to doing upgrades. No one has matched Dynocomps work. Just recently my car needed a tune up and a fuel pump and new fuel lines. Dynocomp did the work and then tuned the car. I can't remember when my car has run as good as it does now.
