When we picked up the truck a week later we had a broken shift mechanism - when we couldn't get our truck started, a man walking in the yard said "you need to start it in neutral now". So, they knew the item had been abused. Also our black bed was painted after it was installed and who ever painted it sprayed over sprayed black paint in several places on our newly painted white truck. Large spots of overspray. They are friendly and yeah they're cheaper- but they did a sloppy job.

The first project that he tackled for me was the design and installation of a roll cage that was designed for SCCA and NASA club racing and track days in a Volkswagen Scirocco. Kevin did an amazing job of doing the research ahead of time to build a cage that not only exceeded the rules, but fit very tightly inside the car to allow clear and easy access between the A-pillars and the entry way of the door bars. The work was top-notch, the welds were amazingly done and the price was fantastic. The second job that Grunion Fabrication did for me was on converting my car to a full air ride setup. The vehicle in-question is a 1989 Volkswagen (seeing a pattern here?) Syncro Tristar Double Cab, which is a very difficult vehicle to convert from traditional coil springs and struts to bags. He had to build custom mounts for the air bags and do the measuring and verification of the shock mount, and was able to do some really amazing work to hide the compressors and the lines. He also built and entirely custom set of bumpers, sliders and an expedition rack onto the vehicle. When it was completed, he went out of his way to provide me with storage of the vehicle while my mechanic was tied up. All in all, they are a great company that I would highly reccomend to anyone who is looking for a company that has tremendous attention to detail and only uses the best parts. Plus, Kevin and his group are true automotive and truck enthusiasts, so they go out of their way to deliver and sell high-quality parts and accessories.

On both occasions, the technicians arrived early, and we were completely satisfied with their services. The windshield replacement, in particular, was outstanding--performed at our hotel parking lot with dealer-quality glass, and the recalibration was done on-site. However, I am extremely disappointed with Yelp. My partner wrote a detailed review, which, for some unknown reason, was only visible for 18 hours before disappearing. We are 100% satisfied with both experiences with Paragon Glass. We were initially referred to them through State Farm's glass network, Lynx, and we have full confidence in their warranty.

I read a few and saw about peoples experiences with just the operator/dispatch/front office lady (whichever she is); I thought "oh she can't be that bad, maybe I will get someone else". I checked to make sure I had typed in the number correctly and decided to try one last time before I called my insurance back, this time it rang and Cynthia answered. I barely said that I was given their number from my insurance company to get my windshield and front passenger window replaced when Cynthia bombarded me with "well I had a truck break down and a guy out with Covid and with a passenger window replacement that has to be done right away and we don't have the time. Your insurance company was being lazy by not calling for you. Who's your insurance company?" I was seriously taken back by the tone of anger in her voice, I understand that things were going south for them and that was causing obvious frustration, but that is no way to talk to a possible customer. I did go ahead and tell her who my insurance company was and she repeated that they were being lazy and that I needed to call them back and do a three way call. She then asked where I was located and I told her Tucson; that's when she said "well that's the guy who got Covid so he is out. I won't be able to get you help for at least 4 days and with a front passenger window you..."; I hung up on her. I didn't need to hear anymore from that rude lady. But guess what?! She called me back! I guess she wasn't done talking..... Nope, she had to get in more and reiterate that the insurance company was being lazy. So, yeah, good luck to you all and maybe give some customer service coaching to Cynthia and let her know that your customers are not the bad guys nor are they her therapists (no need to go into details as to why you are frustrated).
