Was debating on this place from a friend's recommendation vs another business I had dealt with before. Main reason was to get a second price quote because my original shop was way high. Messaged the owner for a bit, he was great and responsive. Answered all my questions. Nice guys at first. Was really excited to start working with them when they took a look at my Jeep for me right away, in spite of being "4 weeks out from taking any new work." Immediately hired them to replace a slow-leaking rear axle seal on a Wrangler. It immediately started squealing and leaking worse than before they worked on it, so I called back to request they find out what went wrong, and their tone changed. "We don't really have time for this because we're so busy but if you leave it with me we'll take another look." This car is my daily driver so I brought it back in and waited for it. After spending an entire afternoon there, they explained they overlooked something and apologized and supposedly replaced parts again and sent me back on the road. Axle seal is now leaking worse than ever, and they are clearly annoyed by their own failure to diagnose and repair properly, so they're now very unpleasant to deal with. Cocky, redirecting, must be preexisting condition, etc. Escalated to owner Andrew and he says "we don't warranty axle seals and there will be no refunds. You must have a bent axle or something. Leave it with me again and we'll take another look." No thanks. 1. If the axle is bent (it's not), why didn't you diagnose that the first time, or the second time you had it? 2. This is my daily driver - why would I leave it with you a third time if you couldn't diagnose and repair this issue the first two times? 3. Your tone and your customer service attitude are poor at best. After asking around several other offroad-expert shops in town, apparently this story is not unique to me. This shop has a reputation. Do your homework before hiring these folks. My confidence is lost entirely - after my experience and talking to others I definitely won't be going back. read more

My front facing camera quit working in my JL after the dealership flashed the head unit. Original 4x4 shop couldn't get it working again, back to delearship and two other shops and they could not get it working. Emailed Andrew said they would try. I have been painstakingly upgrading my Gladiator JT for nearly two years now and the cost of the upgrades will soon surpass the sticker price of the Jeep. I have taken my Jeep to 4 different reputable offroad shops in the valley and have learned that they are either too expensive, too incompetent or both. That is until I started working with LetzRoll Offroad who came highly recommended by nearly everyone that wheels in Phoenix. These guys charge fair prices but most importantly they will treat your Jeep like their own and Yes, they all have one! This past weekend I came to learn the true value of LetzRoll! While off-roading on Mother's Day, I inadvertently broke a Tie Rod End and effectively immobilized my Gladiator in the middle of a trail. Fortunately for me, LetzRoll came through and was able to quickly work with the local manufacturer and get a replacement on a holiday Sunday afternoon averting what would've turned out to be a VERY VERY BAD DAY. Great shop and great employees! LetzRoll has put in a custom roll cage, heavy duty steering, new Yukon gears and done several welding jobs on my 05 Jeep LJ. Every time I have been very pleased with the work completed and pricing. Everyone in the shop is very knowledgeable when it comes to jeep repairs and upgrades. Andrew has always taken time to explain my options and the pros and cons of each. I recently had an issue with the Yukon gears they put in my Jeep 3 years ago and they needed to be replaced. The Yukon warranty is only a year and there was no way to say why they failed. Andrew really went above and beyond what he needed to do to take care of me and replaced the gears at what I calculate to be at his cost. He didn't have to do anything but I feel he really values his customers and wants to take care of us. I would recommend LetzRoll and the crew there for any repairs or mods to whatever you are wheeling. They will treat you fairly and do an awesome job. read more

I appreciate this, particularly because I'm female, and trying to learn about off-roading. Called them for a re gear in July but they were booked thru august. Told me to drop it off anyway and they could get to it within a couple weeks. I left town and picked up my jeep three weeks later. They Installed the gears, did two break in runs and programmed a new tazer before I got there. Fully explained the break in procedure and offered a gear oil change after 500 miles. read more

These guys are awesome. They took me on a tour of their lot and showed me some of their builds. They are very honest and don't BS you. The prices are fair, and their work is top notch. I will definitely be a returning customer once I am ready to build out my Jeep. While I was waiting for my Jeep to get done I got hungry and was going to get an uber for some food but instead the owner insisted I took his Jeep instead, great people! Andrew and Chad are awesome to deal with. Been back 3 times for different work. First a lift, then tires, then 5:13 gear, axle truss and diff skid plates, next adjustable shocks. They do not push sales on you just guide you and told me to "do my work" on researching to make sure I am choosing the right set up for what I want to do. They have answered all my questions and after talking with many other shops who want to push only what they sell, Letz Roll ensured me the Metalcloak lift I wanted was the best option for me. Poor workmanship/ dishonesty on part of LetzRoll Offroad almost cost me and my family our lives. Steer clear of LetzRoll at all costs. This shop performed over $3000 of work on my Toyota, including installing 1.25" hub-centric Spacers on a 2014 Toyota 4runner (a common install and product used by 100's on the same vehicle/wheel/tire combo). The original work was supposed to be completed in 1 week, it took 3 weeks. But that is not the worst part, less than 80 miles after driving out of their shop one of the spacers they installed failed completely due to improper torque while I was driving down the freeway (Improper torque diagnoses was made by an expert Toyota Engineer). Wheel came flying off and caused over $10,000 in damage to my vehicle. Called immediately and spoke to Andrew McLaughlin, no apology, no attempt to make it right. Unfortunately, I am now in the middle of a legal dispute. The monetary damages are not what is important. The important thing is that poor workmanship/ dishonesty on part of LetzRoll Offroad almost cost me and my family our lives. Stay away. read more

BEWARE!!!! DO NOT SHOP HERE!!! Andrew and his shop 'manager' Erica are absolutely awful to deal with. If you buy something from them and it happens to break 2-3 months later, expect them to charge you multiple hundreds of dollars to fix shitty product THEY sold YOU!! Awful business practices. They will weld your 4WD Cable into your Axle and yell and scream at YOU for being upset with him and his shop. Andrew likes to threaten via phone call and text message, proving to have the majority of a 12 year old. Save yourself the time, the stress, the money, and go somewhere the shop will actually take care of you, and treat you like you spend multiple thousands of dollars there. read more

Andrew and his team not only do a great job, but do it for a reasonable price. They are willing to explain everything they plan to do and answer any questions you might have. They are just as good at educating customers as they are at working on their rigs. I won't take either my JK or JT to anyone else. Some examples of work they've done for my Jeep Wrangler JK: welded in and installed the front EVO Double Throwdown suspension, notched my frame for uptravel, fabricated their own pitman arm bracket reinforcement and welded it in, installed the full PSC Big Bore steering box and ram assist, and installed a welded ram skid and high steer on the front axle. For my Jeep Gladiator JT: welded the 4 link RK bracket on the rear axle and I run their front bumper with bumper skid, which has expert welds as well. I can't recommend them enough. read more

If you care about getting the right lift and honesty, I would stay away from this shop. I worked directly with the owner, Andrew. He gave me his word that if I wasn't happy with the Metal Cloak Game Changer install he would take it back, refund, and place my old suspension back on. Which I should have realized was a gimmick to get my money. My main goal was not big tires or a big lift, it was a suspension to help smooth rides over forest service roads. That is not what I got. I should have gone with a different setup. That system was brutally rough. So much that one time I thought they installed the wrong coils. This is not far-fetched. They installed an electronic sway bar but I don't own a Rubicon. Andrew noticed this just before I was about to drive off the lot. So he brought it back into the shop and had them put the correct manual disconnects on. However, this was not installed properly either. Going with Letsroll was a costly mistake. 3200 installed for the lift that is "better than stock." Just maybe, if that. I should have done more homework but that is why I was asking an 'expert.' Do your research and do not trust his advice. I also went with a 3.5 instead of a 2.5 which was my mistake also. I switched to a 3.5 at the last minute, under his strong suggestion, and some (forums, articles) say this may have made the ride quality worse. Plus he said there was no difference between a 2.5 and 3.5 lift. Yet, when I had problems (yep) with the lift later, he said that I should have replaced the drive shaft since I went with a 3.5 lift!! BTW, I am not the only one who thinks this is a rough ride. Again, I made my share of mistakes in this process. I should know better than to trust an 'expert.' People have had great experiences with Letzroll so maybe they all wanted big lifts, big tires, with no regard to ride quality or have a lot of cash floating around to keep tossing money at the system as he conveniently recommends it. Oh, he said he would swap my new lift with a stock jeep for 1250. So basically I get some random suspension, the other person pays for the swap, and I spent 3200.00 for headaches and stress. And he still gets to make money. How is that for great business practices? Going back to a different suspension is not like returning a pair of jeans. I got screwed. It might have completely killed my interest in overlanding and certainly any enjoyment of owning a Jeep. This purchase should have been exciting and not the opposite of. I ended up selling the Jeep within one year of ownership. The lift lowered the resale value so including my initial purchase fees, I was out a lot of money. So much so, we went down to a 1 car house so I could try to recoup money from such a big loss; it will take a year and lots of inconvenience. If I had purchased the correct lift for my needs from someone who knew lifts and suspensions, I could only imagine how different things would have been. Since I first started to drive I had always wanted a lifted 4x4, and almost 30 years later I was barely, but finally, in a place to do it. read more

This shop is amazing. The owner (Andrew), staff (Brandon, Jeff, Matt and Gramps) were all extremely helpful, patient and knowledgeable about any questions/concerns I had. They took the time to explain to me the pros and cons of certain set ups as well as give their honest opinions (they do not push products on you). They installed my Jeep JK's regear, air lockers, axle trusses, heavy duty steering set up, set my front and rear pinion angles, adjusted all my control arms, and control arm skids, and brake upgrades. These guys know how to properly weld on a truss, many place do not take the time or consideration to do it properly, had my alignment verified at a different shop and my axles were perfectly straight after the trusses and inner c Gussets(other shops were impressed with the welds they did truly art). Brandon the tech who worked on a majority of the installs is a master at what he does and it clearly shown in the work that he did. The owner Andrew is a true off-road racer and professional that just recently won the Norra 1000 race. The guy is a boss when it comes to advice and actually runs the gear he puts in his customers vehicles. I remember talking to Andrew a couple years back about some upgrades and even today he always seems to be ahead in the industry when it comes to new products. A lot of the products other shops will push on you Andrew has probably found a better alternative or has already custom made something that works better. I will definitely be back to run their custom coilover/custom aluminum long arm system in the future. read more
