Great price & quality to match! They have several locations so I chose the one closest to me, in the Capitol Hill area. The salon is located in a small upstairs suite - easy to miss if you don't pay attention to the names on the storefront. It was clean with a waiting area and about 3 chairs in the salon. They accept walk ins (no appt for threading) and there was only 1 person in front of me. $14 for eyebrow threading - they must use a different type of yarn because the pain was a lot less than what I've experienced with other salons. It lasted less than 10 min and the associate did a phenomenal job - kept the thickness and shape Excited because I no longer wax my brows and was dreading having to find someone that does threading at a decent price read more

Very disappointed with my first time going here. Asked for a brow threading and tint, and didn't even get the tint because I was so disappointed, on how the threading was. I asked her to keep my brows full and thick as possible, even showed her a photo reference, and the exact opposite was done. She did not speak English at all and the person who did speak English clearly did not care to inform her of what I was saying. I expressed that I did not like how they looked, and that they were entirely too thinand not what I wanted, and they both just looked at me and did not say a word, then started speaking in their native language which I felt was very inconsiderate. I will not be back read more

This review is long overdue, but I can confidently say that Priyanka is the only person I trust with my eyebrows. I've been going to her for over 6 months now, and after every appointment I leave feeling more confident than when I walked in. Not only is she incredibly talented, but she truly takes her time to understand what works best for your face shape and personal style. My brows have never looked better--clean, natural, and consistently shaped every single visit. She pays attention to the smallest details and never makes me feel rushed. What really sets Priyanka apart is her professionalism, kindness, and genuine care for her clients. It's rare to find someone who is both highly skilled and makes the entire experience so comfortable and enjoyable. At this point, I refuse to go anywhere else or trust anyone else with my eyebrows. If you're looking for an eyebrow artist who is talented, consistent, and passionate about what she does, Priyanka is the one. I cannot recommend her enough, and I'm so grateful I found her! read more

Priyanka is the best!! She always does such a great job on my eyebrows and shapes them exactly the way I want. She's gentle and I leave with barely any redness. I highly recommend her!! read more

I've been here a few times for eyebrow threading, always quick, always nice, never any issues. The shop is upstairs, small waiting area, never waited more than 10 mins to be seen. Even when I've asked them to shape a certain way, or if it's to my liking they have made adjustments. Definitely recommend going! read more

Always great services provided! Everyone has been pleasant. The last few times Priyanka has done my brows and I'm very satisfied with her services. read more

I asked the threader to use HAND SANITIZER before touching my face because she had just finished someone else.. she got an attitude and went back and forth with me before doing it but continued to complain during the service. I go to this place because it's convenient, not the best. I'll prob just go elsewhere next time. read more

Hello I came to the Pennsylvania location for face threading , I must say this has been one of the most satisfying experience I have had, Poijunku was the young lady who did my face , I will surely be coming back , such relaxing atmosphere and experience. read more

Priyanka is wonderful and gave such a quick, painless and affordable threading experience! Couldn't recommend more!

I only get my eyebrows here. It's usually not that busy. I get mine done by Pabitra (she's there Wednesdays and Thursdays) typically, she takes her time and makes my eyebrows neat and even. I also have gotten them done by Sunita she's skilled as well but I think Pabitra knows my shape better. They're friendly when you walk in and doesn't take long to sit down in the chair. Only thing I don't care much for is the parking but it's worth it. I'll park in Pennsylvania ave closer to Seward sq there's usually always a spot there on weekdays. read more

Update: still coming to Dupont Threading on Pennsylvania, very glad they didn't close during the pandemic as many businesses did! Cost is now 14 dollars per threading appointment, still very reasonable. 5 stars. read more

Love this place! I was able to walk right in and get my brows touched up. I also tried sugaring for the first time and I am hooked! It is so much less painful than waxing and it was done very quickly. The prices here are fair and competitive. They are actually less expensive than a lot of other salons and Dupont Threading has a few different locations so there is one for everyone! Definitely making this my regular spot! read more

Love love love! Quick and easy every time, with beautiful brows too! Can't recommend enough!

Pabitra is truly amazing. I have been going to her to get my eyebrows threaded and tinted for several years now. Before I used to go to Nitasha when my job was down the street from her but now she's too far from me. Pabitra always is so precise and takes time to cater to how I want my eyebrows. She is also very sweet. I highly recommend! read more

The service provided to get my eyebrows threaded was good and I will probably go back the next time in DC. The person providing ny service didn't talk very much, so I was a little uncomfortable, but again overall was satisfied with my eyebrow threading. read more

If I could give less than one star I would. I used to love this place but my last two visits by two separate people was terrible. The first visit she cut a chunk out of my eyebrow then said I came like that. This time I went a new person gave me two different eyebrows. One that was square and boxy and the other curved. She continued to tell me they were the same even though it was obvious they weren't. I then spent ten minutes directing her to fix what she did to some how make them even. Do not come on Thursdays around 2pm I didn't catch a name but the person in has little to no experience. This location is terrible and I will be going to the one in DuPont moving forward. read more

Staff members are nice, service can be quick. This location is by far better than the actual Dupont one. I recommend hitting it around lunchtime on a week day so you're not waiting too long, but Saturday mornings aren't that bad either. It was kind of hard to locate the entrance but they've begun placing a fat sign outside now that should help direct you up the long staircase! Good luck! read more

Randomly walked into the shop while running errands and I'm so happy! Nitasha did a great job and there was plenty of space in the waiting room for all patrons to distance themselves. Plus her hands are oh so gentle, I barely winced when she got to the thicker eyebrow area. The rose water at the end was such a nice touch. Will definitely come here again! read more

Pabitra was so kind, quick, and efficient. I love the DuPont Threading locations! This one happens to be close to where I live (within walking distance), which is amazing and so convenient for my fellow SE residents. Don't be intimidated by the outside! read more

Went for a waxing and the wax room door does not close all of the way, and there was no air conditioning in the room. In addition to the wax strip rips which were numbing, the high temperature during the DC heat wave and door cracked open... the price made this trip worth it for a one time emergency wax. I would not return if the temperatures are high in DC. I would however recommend threading- I visited a week prior for an eyebrow threading and they took me immediately, were skilled in the shaping and trim. I went home to cleanup the strays- they don't tweeze. The price was right if you are looking for a shaping. There is a fan in the room to help circulate the hot air. The women are pleasant! read more

I love my brows Pabitra is excellent! She takes her time and is gentle and fast!!!!!!!!

I've been coming to this location for 6 years because of the quick service and friendly staff! My absolute favorite eyebrow artist (yes, she is an artist) is Pabrita! I will always recommend her and Dupont Threading to my friends! read more

Dupont Threading - :)! - Threading Services Near Me - Washington, DC, District of Columbia

I'm torn. I've had good experiences at DuPont Threading, but I just left from a terrible one. Gauri at the Capitol Hill location had a near perfect slate to begin with. I have been growing my eyebrows out for months for this moment- my 5 year anniversary photo shoot is tonight. I am leaving with uneven/thin eyebrows, no apology, and a full-price bill. I told her I was not happy and pointed out the differences. She acknowledged she made my eyebrows uneven, but offered no solution. In an effort to preserve what remains of my brows, i did not press her to fix them. At this point, I do not trust her. 2 stars because you can have a good experience if you go to the right eyebrow technician, but unfortunately today's experience was so poor, it has left a bad taste in my mouth. I will not be going back. If you plan on patronizing DuPont threading, do not go to Gauri. read more

I have been to DuPont Threading to get my brows done and was very satisfied with my experience. A friend of mine knew I was in search of a new esthetician since mine recently relocated. I had Nitasha do my eyebrows and wax based on my friend's recommendation. I wish I had good thing to report about the wax experience. I asked for and underarm and Brazilian wax. I entered the room and found clean liner on the bed and a new wax stick which comforted me. She then started to wax me without gloves. I was taken aback when she double dipped the stick while waxing my under arms but i figured there were two separate wax containers and maybe she would use the other container for my Brazilian along with another stick. I was very shocked to say she didn't. She used the SAME stick and wax for my entire waxing session (under arms and Brazilian). She used one cloth for my Brazilian and it kind of freaked me out. As soon as the wax was finished, I went and washed my hands and she went on with her day. She used hand sanitizer but that's not enough! I got home to see some stray hairs in certain areas. Although she was very fast and very confident in her work, I wish she would have been a little more detailed with the stray hairs. The lack of sanitation is inexcusable. The next day, I called and emailed looking to complain. It has been over a week and I have yet to hear back from them. If you don't mind someone waxing you with NO regards to sanitation or if you want someone doing your brows after they have done a Brazilian and simply used hand sanitizer, this is the place for you. read more

I just moved to DC and have been looking for a good eyebrow threading place. My first experience here was great- there was no wait and Pabitra really took her time shaping and cleaning up my brows. I will definitely be coming back! read more

I've been coming here for at least 5 years and it's always great! They recently started talking walk-ins again, but I'd still call to check just in case. They pay great attention to detail and always make any little fixes I request. read more

I prefer to get my threading done regularly, so when covid hit I was left to fend for myself (and it was a hot mess). As businesses began opening up I was super nervous about going to get threading done, considering the esthetician gets up in your face. That being said, I was very impressed with the safety measures the DuPont Threading team has put in place. Once predominantly a walk-in business, now you have to book an appointment (which means it's one client in the space at a time). They're wearing masks & gloves during the entire process and switching them out between appointments. The chair was sanitized before I sat down and I noticed that when the thread broke (as sometimes it does) the esthetician turned away from me to get herself situated before approaching my face again. Overall, I felt safe about the experience and will return for another appointment! read more

I don't go anywhere other than Dupont Threading for my brows EVER. Nitasha is amazing, and she takes awesome care of me. DuPont Threading is awesome! I have been coming to all the locations for years. Sunita is fantastic and really takes good care of me!

Loved this place. Pabitra just did my eyebrows and they look fantastic. Highly recommend!

Fast, easy, cheap, and the woman who threaded my brows did a great job! I've had my brows threaded in the past at other shops, but this was by far the fastest and least painful experience I've had with threading! $13 for the brows. They prefer cash. read more

This is the go to threading shop in DC. They can best be described as a fast and clean service. Consistently they give me brows that slay and save my upper lip.
