Ok, I love dunkin donuts,so this is a biased review. I mean, I used to make my in laws ship me cases of the k-cups since they weren't available in my area. And now we have a real dunkin donuts right here in our town! And it's a drive through! Life isn't perfect at DD - they've messed up my annoyingly complicated espresso orders more than once, but they always make good and fix it. They also occasionally forget to put cheese on the sausage croissant, but again they fix it as soon as the error is figured out. Prices are good, food is consistently yummy and that's about all you can ask for from a fast food joint. read more

Both cakes were a "home run" - one was rated 20 on a scale of 1-10 and the other was "best birthday cake/birthday gift" ever. HORRIBLE place ! I was sitting on my table sipping my coffee.Then. I was watching an DD guy with dark brown hair wearing a blue shirt ..mopping the floor with a brush stick full of germs & foul stuffs! Awkwarrdly. He was trying to clean a chair near the window with brush mopping stick like 4 times! Disgusting!! Maybe. they used to do that everyday- Of course.People must sit neat & clean on chairs.. Whenever I go to dunkin donuts, I feel like it's a treat because the closest location to me is this one, although it's like 20 miles away. I go to this location every once in while, and as much as I like it because it is the only one I am able to go to, I recognize that the service isn't always the best. During my last experience, I ordered iced coffee and a donut, but after I waited for the coffee they forgot to give me my donut so I had to wait until they were done with the next customer to remind them of my missing donut. I've noticed too that they don't always honor coupons on the app. But either way, I gotta say that amongst my love of iced coffee, they are in the top 2 for me. read more

This place is okay if you are really jonesing for something sickening sweet or aren't sure what you want or you like a specific ice cream. But for price and taste, I prefer the apple fritters at KD's Doughnuts (cash only) in the Albertson's parking lot. The chocolate malt ice cream at the ice cream counter in Rite Aid, next to Staters. And the egg and sausage croissant from Burger King, which is no longer here because Dunkin' Donuts moved in. read more

The only reason I go here is if I absolutely need a doughnut and KD's is closed. The doughnuts are not good. Lower your expectations now. I don't know what's wrong with them, but they always tasted stale. Even if they were still warm for the oven. It just isn't a good quality doughnut. The service was ok, but the food was HORRIBLE. We order the grilled cheese and the egg muffin sandwiches. My grilled cheese was so burnt it actually snapped instead of tore apart. The muffins were raw and not cooked. The donuts are horrible too. If not or the attached BRobbins for the kids I'd never go back. read more

This place sucks. They never have the doughnuts you want and never give you any napkins. I don't know why I keep trying coming back. To see if it's changed... but not!! The donuts are not as good as KD Donuts. The coffee tastes like water and dirt. The only good thing is the Baskin Robins ice cream. I hope that there can be some improvements on the coffee and donuts but that's doubtful because it's a franchise. Still, I wonder what the donuts and coffee taste like on the East Coast. We stopped at this store to have a hot coffee but they served me warm coffee instead. My wife had an ice cream cone and had to wait to pay for it while the cashier kept talking to someone else. We love Dunkin Donuts but will never come back to this one. read more

I used to treat my kids to "Donut Fridays" at this store, but because of poor customer service I have had to cut it out of our Friday celebration. When this store initially opened the customer service was so much better. I have had an employee get irritated with me that I don't know the exact number of donuts I am getting because my kids pick it as they go, they have even forced us to purchase a dozen to make it more convenient for them. My coffee is always forgotten about or saved for the very last minute while they begin to take care of the next person in line. I've had people behind me leave before me. 3 stars for customer service. Customer service is always great. There is a wait sometimes. the price and quality of the donuts are not that great. I rather go to KD's donuts. Went in on Veterans Day because they are supposedly supposed to be giving out free hot or iced coffee to veterans. The lady at the counter said "No, but I think Starbucks is doing the free coffee. I went on the 31st to get the 1.50 scoop deal. I got to the drive trough at 9:27 and then didn't care to answer me until 9:33 telling me they were closed. I called 9:42 and talked to the shift manager and they said their clocks are 5-6 min faster then most other clocks. They need to change the time because, it messes the customers up. The shift manager kept talking to me about how she was running around bleeding and looking for a band-aid when I didn't ask. Poor service, the shift manager was more worried about herself. read more

I was on vacation in Ramona for a wedding and it was my first time ever in California. I had thee best experience I've ever had at a dunkin donuts right here in Ramona. I got a dozen donuts for some of the wedding party, which were a hit with everyone, and I also got a vanilla chai for myself which was absolutely delicious! I spoke with 6 of the employees there and they were all worth mentioning. I spoke with Deja, James, Sessiana (spelling?), Dillon, Montana, and John. They were all so helpful and pleasant. They were quick to greet me and seemed genuinely interested while asking me about my day. I enjoyed a great conversation with all of them. All 6 of them seem to have knowledge about their job and are definitely great employees. Thanks Ramona! I will be back! read more

I was given a coupon several months ago for a free donut so I recently went in to take advantage of this. Of course I was gonna get something else but am trying to not eat too much garbage (good) food. I was greeted immediately in the very clean dining room and I got the ole staple (for me) chocolate cream filled and vanilla cream filled. Both were very fresh feeling/tasting. They were very fluffy and botch covered evenly in powdered sugar and tasted as though they had been made within the last 30 minutes or so. Melt in your mouth. The vanilla had several odd looking little holes punched in it all over the donut but the chocolate didn't. I was wondering if this is now how they inject the filling in and also wondered, if this was the case, why they wouldn't have needed to do it in our local one when I was a kid. The massive variance in filling between these donuts suggests that's exactly how they do it now. The chocolate was maybe half way filled with the cream and the vanilla was packed with it. I wonder how they did it back in the early 80's without this tech because they were always completely filled at our store. Since the dining room was clean and the service and quality of food was good they get 3 stars rather than the 2 I intended on giving them. This is piss poor product consistency for what I've heard is not a very difficult process. read more

I was so happy to see a D&D on our way up to Julian in Ramona! I am a Chicago native and ohhh so miss my D&D! It was clean, friendly staff, fresh donuts galore! Service was quick and my iced vanilla latte w/almond milk (hello Starbucks still waiting for u to get on the almond milk train)! Was happy to see they even had almond milk available as some coffee spots just don't (Starbucks). My chocolate glazed donut was super delicious and fresh so much better then some of the $3-$4 donuts I have a the hipster joints :-) a good old skool donut is all I need! Not sure why other reviews were so low :-( maybe they just need to adjust to the new opening? Our stop was pleasant, quick and we were happily stuffed w donuts and coffee treats! read more

I came here with my sister, mom and nieces yesterday for an ice cream run and we had the best experience ever. A young gentleman named Matthew helped us. He was so friendly! Best customer service ever! Great smile, upbeat, he let us know if we needed anything to let him know. He even told us that he had just got done opening up a new store in Murrieta. I was very excited to hear that San Diego was finally getting a real Dunkin Donuts again, as the one on Pendleton no one can get to and the one downtown is in a hotel and thus not a real donut store. I wish it wasn't all the way out in Ramona, but their craigslist add for workers says they plan on opening more stores soon. I went through the drive thru on a Saturday afternoon and there was no line at all. The clerk over the loudspeaker was clear and helpful. They apparently only had raspberry filling, but I didn't ask if that was all they normally had or if it was just that time. When we pulled up to the window to pay, the clerk was clearly still being trained as there was another person there supervising what she was doing, but she was doing a fine job already. The donuts tasted as good as expected. It's probably good for my waistline that the drive is so long. read more
