There's something about grabbing coffee and a quick bite that sets the tone for the whole day. I stopped into this Dunkin' early morning, not really expecting more than the basics -- but the way it played out actually left me smiling. I ordered a signature caramel latte, an avocado toast, and a Bavarian cream donut. The latte came out rich and sweet, just enough caramel to keep it smooth without tipping into sugar overload. The avocado toast was fresh and crisp, stacked with creamy avocado that made it feel more like breakfast than just a snack. And the donut? Classic Dunkin' -- soft, filled right, exactly the kind of comfort bite you want with coffee. Here's where it went from good to memorable. The store had only one girl working the counter. You could see she was hustling hard, trying to take care of everyone. It meant the wait was longer than usual, but instead of hiding behind it, she came over, apologized sincerely, and slipped me an extra donut as a thank you for being patient. That small gesture flipped the whole experience -- it wasn't about the donut, it was about feeling noticed and appreciated. The shop itself was clean and relaxed, the donut case stacked, and plenty of seating if you want to sit for a bit. Nothing flashy, but everything in place. Final take: 5 stars, no doubt. Sometimes it's the little human touches that make an ordinary coffee run feel like a win.

    Neglecting using gloves

Neglecting gloves after the bathroom! Such a disappointing experience at Baskin Robbins. This location is combined with Dunkin' Donuts, yet not a single cashier was at the counter when I arrived. After waiting about 10 minutes, a young woman finally showed up--but instead of acknowledging the customers (there were three of us by then, including a couple behind me), she completely ignored us. When she eventually turned to me, I asked for a sample and was ready to place my order right away. Instead, she immediately switched her attention to the people BEHIND me and started serving them, cutting me off mid-sentence. Their order took another 10 minutes, as the woman was picking out multiple tubs of ice cream and her husband was struggling to get into the bathroom because the code given was "951 backwards" (meaning 951159). The employee then ran over to help with the code (makes you wonder how clean that lock is...), and when she came back, she went straight to scooping ice cream WITHOUT washing her hands or putting on gloves. At that point, I honestly wanted to leave. I don't think it's a customer's job to explain to food service workers why gloves are necessary, especially after touching questionable surfaces. Thankfully, another employee returned from break and served me instead. She was quick, polite, and most importantly, put on gloves. Because of her, I didn't give this place just 1 star. The ice cream itself is always delicious--that's why I go to Baskin Robbins in the first place. But as for this specific location, I'll be avoiding it.

this Dunkin' was the closest breakfast spot to us, our last day here in San Diego. the group was pleasantly surprised with how good their breakfast sandwiches are. i went with avocado toast, bacon bits spread on top of it, paired with a latte

Being originally from the east coast, it's always a nostalgic experience when we get to have some Dunkin Donuts. Our first stop at the Ramona location was a few years ago after a choir concert at a local church. We're all in awe when we noticed the bright building sign while driving down Main Street. We just had to stop since it had been a long while since we had some way back in MA. This last visit was a bit lackluster. The space now shares room with a Baskin-Robbins, the donuts were a bit stale, and it lacked a bit on cleanliness. I hope it was a one-off experience as we do like to enjoy this nostalgia from time, but if not we know we can get it closer to home now as more stores are popping up.

My "veggie egg white" omelet bites... clearly with bacon.

Two days in a row I've been there super early around 5:30. First day I ordered an oat milk latte and got regular milk... second day (today) ordered veggie egg white omelet bites and they gave me the bacon ones. This place obviously does not cater to vegetarians.. or care what peoples allergens are. What if I was allergic? They've also taken off the only good vegetarian option from their menu... the beyond sausage sandwiches.. I just don't see a reason to return to this place. Only reason I'm going is bc Starbucks is closed for renovations across the street.

They have dicked up my order so many times, I've lost track. This franchisee gives the brand a huge black-eye. The staff are teens who don't give'a shit. I've been served stale donuts more times than not. Their Bottom Cream is never done right.., very little custard inside. They have served up stone cold wake-up wraps, when they should have been warm. ...cold bacon egg and cheese sandwiches. Right. Soup-sandwich in the bottom of the bag. They have served up luke warm coffee when it should of been hot. I've asked for coffee w/ cream... no cream. I've driven several miles after leaving the drive-thru to find my order incorrect or my sandwiches a huge mess in the bottom of the bag. The drive-thru is ate up. Consistently screw up orders. I've got to double check my order ALL the time, EVERYTIME.. Bring reading material if you go inside, you'll be standing around waiting for your order to be taken. They're so dicked up 'n disorganized they'll forget your order or screw it up. The staff are not knowledgeable with the Dunkin' app, so don't ask. You'll have to figure that out yourself. I 'ought to look forward to getting my breakfast on-the-go and my coffee from Dunkin', but I don't because they screw it up consistently. I figured it was time to leave a review. This has been going on ever since they opened this location. In summary.., the staff consistently get it wrong. The staff are inadequately trained, unprofessional and are consistently unwelcoming and unpleasant. Recommendations; I have had few pleasant experiences here. They get it right few 'n far between...When the cats away, the mice will play. - train your staff - hire more staff - quit being unpleasant, care about your work, you effect a person's day. ...god forbid they ask you to pull forward cuz they'll bring you your coffee..they'll forget about ya 'n you'll sit there for 10 minutes, then have to go inside to recover your order. Ate up. I come here all the time 'n they are SCREWED UP! Fix it!!

They were sitting right next to the Julian pies and it kinda looked like a fight, like a battle of the mountain bakeries kind of fight. Needless to say, I grabbed both because everyone immediately glorifies the Julian pie so by including the Ramona pie, my objective was to introduce some low risk novelty for my Christmas get-together. I didn't have high hopes for Ramona's blueberry because I was suspicious of the huge bready looking crust roll in combination with the sticker on the front boasting "no seed oils". I'm not fluent in baking alchemy. I was raised on Costco pie (bleh). So, I thought this was going to be dry and overly sweet but much to my whole family's surprise, Ramona was the winner! My takeaway: Do not discriminate the chubby crust roll! Take it from me because I'm a savage that eats a pie right out of the fridge. The crust is like a shortbread cookie. It's almost on the Italian pastry spectrum. Very delicious. Very coffee friendly. The blueberry filling was also perfectly balanced. It wasn't too sweet and even with the crumble topping, I felt like I could eat it with yogurt in the morning and trick myself into calling it a wholesome breakfast. Now, I'm going to say this with a huge shield up... but it knocked the Julian apple pie way off the shelf for me.

That's ok, there was only one person working at the time and I was in no hurry. I decided on a Jalapeno Cheese Bagel, toasted with cream cheese "for here". I noticed their small selection of bagels were just sitting out in the open air, not covered up or in any sort of container. After a few minutes I was handed the bagel in a small bag, despite ordering in. I took a seat at one of their small patio tables. The bagel was very tasty with a pretty conservative spread of cream cheese. Not sure where they source their bagels from, but it had a nice chew and flavor, unfortunately not enough jalapeno. The outside seating area seemed rather unkempt. Several of the tables had ponding water pooled on the surface; some chairs as well. It was 10:00 am and they had been open for several hours but apparently don't take much care in maintaining the "gathering" area.

That commitment to quality and sustainability is commendable and something more restaurants should strive for. The staff is knowledgeable, and it's refreshing to see a restaurant that cares about where its food comes from. Unfortunately, that attention to ingredient sourcing seems to stop when it comes to cooking oils. Many of the menu items are prepared with soybean oil, which was disappointing given the otherwise high-quality and health-conscious image of the restaurant. Soybean oil is highly processed and contains large amounts of omega-6 polyunsaturated fats. While omega-6 fats are essential in moderation, excessive consumption relative to omega-3 intake has been associated with increased inflammation in some research. Soybean oil is also more susceptible to oxidation when exposed to high cooking temperatures, potentially producing compounds that some studies suggest may contribute to oxidative stress. In addition, many health-conscious consumers actively avoid industrial seed oils such as soybean, corn, and canola oils in favor of alternatives like olive oil, avocado oil, butter, or tallow. I would gladly give Marinade on Main a higher rating if they aligned their cooking oils with the same local, high-quality standards they apply to the rest of their ingredients. Switching to avocado oil or olive oil or beef talo would be a welcome improvement and would better match the restaurant's otherwise impressive commitment to quality. * also loose the standard strip of high fructose sodas and provide more natural optikns of drinks ...
