Hands down my favorite donut shop to visit in Escondido. I've been trying quite a few shops in the year that I have lived here and this one is the best. It's a good halfway house between the classic donut and the trendier decorated donuts. Well First I was Craving some yummy Donuts !! Since being in Escondido today and looking through Yelp this Donut Shop came up . So I had to try , Now Walking in I look around and was greeted and I look through all the different Donuts they got here . The Selection was pretty good and I kind of took my time looking but decided on Half Dozen and It cost 11.00 Dollars but we sat inside and enjoying every bite . There are chairs for you to sit but not to big inside . They got Characters donuts also but those are a bit more expensive . Kind of located in a kind of empty shopping center in corner of a Supermarket . But my experience was good and if I happen to be in the area I shall return and enjoy more . They were out of vegan donuts this Sunday morning. Not sure what happened. Hopefully they're not being discontinued. I wish they would make the vegan fluffy ones like Barrio Donus in Clairemont does. I know that petersons is the PLACE to go when getting donuts in escondido but I would definitely recommend giving this place a try as well! Walking into the donut shop, it had a trendy vibe to it. Definitely Instagram worthy. Had a cool spot to take a selfie at and the donuts looked awesome! The person that took our order was very kind and sweet! They had Halloween style donuts which was a must buy for our kids! One of the very few vegan options for donuts in North County; however, only on the weekends! They have a selection of about 5 different moist cake donuts. I wish they would make yeast vegan donuts because there is nearly no one now in North County that makes them and let me tell you, that's where the money is!!! I appreciate the variety of cake donuts and for not lumping the vegan donuts into gluten free. The result is a nice moist donut. If in the area again on the weekend, will definitely stop by. Given the quality and price, these are the best donuts in town! Now other places like Peterson's may have bigger sizes, but the higher price doesn't justify it. I find the portion here to be perfect and the price for a dozen is very reasonable. Donuts are not too sweet and taste fresh. I buy a dozen for my coworkers every 2 months and haven't noticed any regression in quality. Granted prices have gone up recently, but that's expected in this economy. The walls and trash cans inside are pink and there is an adorable place to sit and have a small photo session! There is a fan on the ceiling moving to cool the place off a little so you can get a break from the Summer heat. There are stickers and paintings on the walls that give it a very personal, unique feel that no other donut place has. This place definitely has personality and I love it! It is a great place to grab a donut, sit and enjoy. Prices and menu: I bought three donuts, a cold tea and a bottled water for a little over ten dollars. One round chocolate donut was around $1.35 but there are specialty donuts, such as the Horchata Donut, so price depends on that. They sell donuts, croissants, breakfast sandwiches, water, tea, coffee, Gatorade, and juice. We tried the round chocolate donuts and the Strawberries and Cream donut and they were delicious! Go for the Strawberries and Cream one if you're really looking to fill that sweet tooth craving! Seating/masks: you can take donuts to go in a bag or box, or sit inside and eat. Wheelchair accessible tables as well as high up tables with tall chairs. Masks are optional currently (8-15-21) but I was thankful to see the employee wearing a mask. Definitely picture worthy! Plenty of indoor seating options. It turns out that they do have Vegan (cake) donuts on weekends. They have a variety of donut flavors to choose from such as your classics glaze/maple/chocolate to more fun, unique ones. The Vegan flavors were kind of limited though the person who helped us said that they could make certain flavors upon request! Tried this place out on a Saturday morning around 9:30am. It wasn't too crowded, two other families were there before us and one came in after. The shop itself is suuuuuper cute, definitely makes the 'gram' part of their name worthy. The prices are good for the kinds of donuts and the size of the donuts that they have. A dozen was $17.99 (specially donuts seem to be about $1-2 more per donut, all the regular faves are included with specialty donuts being the obvious ones to the left as well as fritters and cinnamon rolls). Finally remembered to stop at the new donut shop when I was on that side of town. Been craving donuts during this quarantine. I heard good things about these donuts and they don't disappoint. Before the pandemic, I saw that Marte's Donuts had a new banner in its place called Donutgram. I wondered when it'll open. Then the Shelter-in-place happened and thought about these small businesses. Last Sat 4/18/20, my boss surprised me with a half dozen donuts and I was so ecstatic that it was from this place. My first taste of their donut was so delicious. It was not overly sweet at all. Then I had another donut the following day and continued to be impressed. Some of my family members were able to eat the rest and they enjoyed it as well. So last night (4/19), my hubby and I looked it up here on Yelp and saw the only review. He saw from a different area that they just opened April 10th. I decided to go today. This morning at 8:30, I arrived and it was only 3 people in there. So as you can see from the pictures, there were so many to choose from. I had to have others go before me because I couldn't decide. Eventually, more people were arriving so time for me to choose. I bought 2 Nutella filled, 1 Apple Fritter, 1 Cinnamon Roll, 1 Old Fashioned Glazed and 1 OF Chocolate Glazed, 2 Choc Cake, 1 Oreo, 2 Rised Chocolate, and 1 Choco Mazipan. It's a little pricey but during this time, it's nice to be able to support a newly, opened local business plus their products are a hit in our house. Not only are the donuts bomb.com, but the service is great and even better that it's Latino Family owned- woot woot!!! We went in for one donut and came out with a dozen. Shhh, and the señora gave us one extra too cuz we were cute (I think haha) or cuz we we nice! ;) They opened in the middle of this crazy pandemic back in April 2020 and are doing well- even better now since this was the first time going but won't be the last!!! I do live closer to Peterson's Donuts but they've been closed (hope they're ok from Covid) during this time so I don't mind driving a bit further for these yummy ness!
