one of the best chai lattes i've ever had. i ordered the seasonal carrot cake chai, which was to die for, so smooth and perfectly sweet/spiced. the service was excellent; friendly and helpful, with multiple baristas greeting me and giving me advice for my order. the interior and ambience is also very comforting and if i had not been in a rush, it would definitely be a spot i'd like to get work done/take friends out for a date. though on the pricy-er side of cafés in san diego (around 7-9 dollars for a latte) i can confidently say this is one of the only places i would gladly spend 8 dollars on a drink; it's just that good. the price reflects the quality of the product 100%. i wish i lived closer to try more of their drinks. read more

Pleasantly surprised by how much I liked their matcha here! Everything else fell short tho. I visited on a Saturday morning with a friend and the line was out the door. Limited parking. The employees were friendly and seemed to know a lot of customers. I ordered a regular matcha latte and a pandan croissant. We were able to get a table inside and it seemed like a lot of people were working. The matcha came out quickly and it was really good quality! Very strong and not too sweet. Pretty sure they forgot my pastry though, it took a while for it to come out and it wasn't even warm when I asked for it to be toasted. I recognize the pastries from other cafes in the area so I know they don't make them in house, but the croissant was not good - it wasn't fresh, the pandan was artificial, and difficult to eat. This is a nice space to come and catch up with a friend or do some work in Escondido! There's a good amount of seating without feeling crowded in the space. Service was friendly and they were playing throwback songs that brought up all the nostalgia. I can't believe I haven't reviewed this place considering I go at least once a week. I literally get excited to get coffee here every time because they never miss. Whether that's their customer service or drinks, they hit the spot every time. The mocha is what I always get, and I'm obsessed with the texture of the milk !! Like freakin velvet over here. Good Source coffee has become one of my favorite places to grab a matcha as a non-coffee drinker. Their matcha here is ceremonial grade and their syrups are made in house--all very delicious. I typically opt for the matcha einspanner here. They have a fairly large parking lot outside so parking shouldn't be a problem. The inside is also fairly large, though many people end up sitting and staying, making it a bit more crowded inside. It does just attest to the warm, friendly environment they've created here though. This place is always spotless and super welcoming every time I visit. Today, I went with the honey organic espresso with almond milk, and it was the perfect choice for a cool, cloudy mid-50s morning. I've been here a few times now, and this drink might be my new favorite. I usually prefer my coffee iced, but there's something about a warm cup here that just hits differently. I expected it to be a little bitter since honey and espresso don't usually hide the bold flavor of the beans, but the balance was absolutely perfect -- the sweetness of the honey paired beautifully with the espresso. Inside is pretty spacious with plenty of tables along with some seating outside. Also, I didn't have any issue finding an outlet for my devices. I ordered an iced blueberry latte with oat milk. The husband-and-wife duo happened to be in the café when my girlfriends and I stopped by after a hike at Daley Ranch, which is about 10 minutes away. So, what makes Good Source... so good? I'm happy to share! As soon as I walked in, I noticed how spacious and clean the place was, and the finishing touches on the decor were beautiful. I ordered the Honey Latte with Oat Milk, and it was the perfect way to kick-start my morning! One of my friends, who isn't a big coffee drinker, ordered a Mocha with a half-shot and said it was the best she's had. They offer both vegan and non-vegan options. For a treat, I chose the vegan Chai Donut, recommended by Good Source's friendly cashier, and it was delish. Parking was easy to find since the coffee shop is located in a plaza with plenty of spaces. The staff and owners are incredibly helpful and kind. I'm thrilled this coffee shop has opened; based on my experience, it's a fantastic addition to the community. I stopped by for a coffee after a hike with my girlfriends. We were immediately greeted as soon as we walked in. I love their decor and how spacious it is. They also have a good sized parking lot. This place is super cute! Their Matcha strawberry is very good! I told them I needed to limit my caffine intake and they were able to accomodate. It is a little pricey but it is still reasonable with all costs increasing in this economy. It's very chic inside and there were a lot of people here. I feel like they come here for coffee and to do their work. There were so many people on their laptops. That's a good sign for me, when the ambiance is so good that people hang out at the cafe. Their coffee tastes great and they use ceremonial grade matcha. On our second visit, the staff asked us to remind them of our names, which was so cool to be remembered when they clearly see many guests throughout the week. I. freakin. love. this. place. My folks live in the area and I was so excited when they told me about a new coffee shop that opened near their house. Now I make it a requirement to stop by if I'm in the area. I've tried multiple drinks from their Vanilla Latte, Iced Red Velvet Latte, and my absolute favorite, the Einspanner Matcha Latte. Everything is amazing but their Einspanner is one of the best matcha lattes I've ever had. It's truly why I keep coming back. The staff are always very friendly, efficient, and truly know their stuff. The shop itself is very spacious but it does get busy! Which, to me, is great.
