The staff here was incredibly friendly--the waitress made us feel very welcome right away. This café is set up inside the mall, without any walls, located right beneath the first-floor escalator. I visited on a Sunday morning, and it was quite loud due to some event in the mall and was bustling, but the space was clean and had plenty of available seating. I ordered a latte, which was really good, though I was a little disappointed that they didn't offer "for here" cups.

Love this coffee spot. I usually take on the go but the sitting area is comfy and clean. When I go to the mall I almost always get something here, especially if my favorite barista (Jennifer) is there. She makes the drinks so perfect!

Great coffee, great service. Small business owner too , which I personally love to support when I can. Nothing fancy but gets my coffee fix when I need it without overcharging me like Starbucks. Always my go to when I'm in the mall :)

It is located on the first floor of the mall. The house iced coffee is deliciously refreshing on a hot afternoon. The lady helping me was quick to give me my order!

A good cup of Joe in a mall that's half empty. This is your only coffee option at Westfield North County. Starbucks and Nordstrom are long since closed. I wouldn't count the Starbucks inside Target as an option because good luck finding a batista to serve you.. Coast Coffee is a pared down version of the fancy coffee shop that was here previously. Coffee drinks and some pastries only. My iced vanilla latte was really good. Just enough ice to make it cold, but not too much to rip me off on the coffee...

They've got just about all you need from a cafe; plenty of coffee drinks, breakfast sandwiches and pastries. The pastries looked a bit dry but it could've just been because they'd been out on display for a bit. The two employees working there didn't have much personality but I can't really blame them. It can't be too exciting working at a cafe in the back of a car dealership. The building has a really nice interior, not very coffee-shop giving but if you appreciate pretty architecture you may like it. The food was decent, can't really go wrong with a bagel sandwich. The bacon could've been a bit crispier but it still tasted good. Coffee was alright, I would've liked it more if I had gotten a different milk, it's my fault knowing that almond milk doesn't make for a good frothy latte milk. Overall there wasn't anything too special about the place, but it certainly wasn't bad. I wouldn't go out of my way for it but I have preferences for everything I had elsewhere. If you do happen to be in the area though, give it a shot!

The coffee was fine. The staff seem to know the local regulars and chat them up appropriately. The seating it still hard and uncomfortable. I'll try again one more time to see if hey flip my bippy. So far two stars for they way they interacted with other. One star for the pastry and the coffee mis up and late service was a - of stars. And my picky pastry folks (she knows who she is) would say it's not a true croissant, as there are cuts across the pastry... but it's buttery and flaky..

They serve a fair variety of sandwiches and other little items to buy such as coffee and cookies. The location is small with about a total of 5 seating areas including both inside, and out. For service they're all very friendly since it's primarily the family owners who serve you. You go up to the front and place your order and they'll bring the food you order to your table, they do close early since this is a breakfast spot first and foremost, so expect to arrive early if you want to eat here. I usually order The Works in a half since a full size sandwich is well over $20, excluding any additions or substitutions you may make. The sandwich does taste really good, but it does come at a steep price. They've grown in popularity over the years, which may have influenced their pricing (by a lot) which in my opinion does outweigh it's value. While I do enjoy my infrequent visits, I can say this location is more of an occasional treat, as opposed to a constant meal to be had often.
