Great Sushi variety 10/10

Great Sushi Variety and the taste was good 10/10 definitely coming back for more soon

Hatch chiles are here!

Albertson's isn't always the cheapest but they have good specials and this sounds odd, but I really like their organic bean selection for making my own dips or hummus - they are typically low sodium, which is a great advantage. Great craft brew selection and their bakery actually makes some pretty tasty tortilla chips! The employees have always been friendly.

What does the sweeping schedule consist of? Never mind selling me anything.

Albertson's was the only other choice after the other place began to turn into something far short of a grocery store and Albertson's was incredible! For whatever reason things seem to be changing pretty aggressively in this store. For me they are. I went in tonight looking for 2 products. I found 1 because I knew exactly where it was and I'm glad I did. When I inquired about a product with the first employee I walked near on the floor he was far less than interested in helping me than he was his current task. NOT GOOD! A buying customer isn't even getting a question answered about BUYING a product?? Yep, and it would stay that way. "David" explained to me that he was sweeping. I was clearly able to see this. His answer was that he didn't know if they had that product and directed me somewhere he wasn't rather than stating, "I don't know but I will find someone who does". I even suggested maybe he use this exact quote with me and his answer was to tell me about his current task of sweeping and the details of that task. Something I am absolutely not interested in as a customer looking for a product to BUY. He then suggested that I wait for him to finish sweeping, and then maybe he could help me. I said, "Disregard, have a good sweep". And went to the front to search for someone in management. I found a "Supervisor" that was much older than David and I explained the scenario that just took place. She proceeded to give me detailed information about David's task and chose to not even entertain addressing my question while interrupting me twice during my explanation of the situation. Then she asked that I wait a second for her to call Dillon who, I'm guessing, is maybe the senior supervisor for the shift. I suggested she should cancel the call and I'll simply go elsewhere and she rapidly responded with, "OK, no problem". WOW! I guess anything you can do other than collecting money and your immediate task is better than generating a bit more revenue for the company. So after having to interact with 3 people, vicariously a 4th, I never got an answer to my question and it was never even entertained. That's pretty horrendous customer service guys especially for a customer with, what they call in the sales industry, "Buying signs". Hey Albertson's folk, I'd love to hear everything about David and his sweeping timer. I will entertain a conversation about ALL the details of sweeping in a store with loads of people trying to buy stuff. My inbox is always open. Oh ya, they had 2 lanes open with at least 8 people in each. I haven't seen this at this store before. Albertson's is quickly urging me to wait and just go down the mountain once a week.

I called first to make sure they have it in stock and they informed me a fresh batch was just delivered. While there, I checked out their selection of ice cream and picked up Alden's organic strawberry ice cream. Yumm! They carry broccoli seeds too which I bought although in a tiny jar 4oz plastic bottle - the first store I've found that carries seeds for sprouting! And lastly, a cool can of Poppi probiotic soda to quench my thirst on the drive back home. This is the kind of store a health-conscious, active guy like me would frequent if it was close to my neighborhood. Now, I know where to stop whenever I pass through Ramona. Before I forget, they also have a sandwich shop in the back. I would have ordered one but I already have lunch waiting at home.

From truly local produce to probiotic pickles, artisan condiments, supplements, beauty products, pantry staples, and sweet treats, this cozy neighborhood shop packs an incredible variety into a small space without ever feeling crowded. They also carry a fantastic selection of local wines, kombuchas, herbal teas, feel-good drinks, and even some local and gluten-free beers. My current obsession is their mocktail section. They offer a great variety of premixed AF canned mocktails along with tinctures and adaptogen blends so you can craft your own. And it doesn't stop there. Tucked in the back is a full takeout counter serving delicious sandwiches, wraps, salads, and breakfast. You can take your meal out to the sunny patio, often with live local music, and enjoy it with one of the refreshing drinks from the store. There's also a separate coffee and smoothie bar with pastries, bagels, and all your morning favorites. This place is more than just a market. Whether you're grabbing groceries, picking up lunch, sipping a locally roasted coffee, or just soaking in the good vibes, Ramona Family Naturals delivers. I'm so grateful to have a spot like this in our community.

Three Sons Farm - Fresh farm eggs straight from the farm!

FRESH FARM EGGS!!! (5 stars + meteor shower + starlinks)…read more Pasteurized eggs are the best quality. But pasture raised + fresh farm eggs; Hens that roam freely and forage, even better quality! Did you know... fresh farm eggs can sit on the counter (unrefrigerated) for up to 14 days IF the eggs have yet been refrigerated. And they are SO good. Obviously, refrigerate if they won't be consumed within the 14 days but once refrigerated they must stay refrigerated . When buying at the booth, they have not been refrigerated. Current price: $8 for 1 dozen. Expensive but quality and freshness is priceless. If you haven't had fresh farm eggs or don't know the difference, you need to refine that pallet of yours because you are missing out. Fresh as in unwashed!!! I've gone "country" in this beach city! Many times I have considered taking the drive to Ramona to the farms to hunt for some fresh eggs for my baked goods, breakfasts, and my fresh pasta noodle making. Especially when it comes to making my fresh pasta noodles from scratch I want the freshest eggs possible. Well, you don't need to drive to the farms. Their tent is available at some of the farmers markets around the county. If you see their tent, don't pass them up! Well worth $8. Some of the other food vendors at the farmers markets use their eggs as well. I had a "breakfast bowl" and they were frying up fresh eggs from Three Sons Farm. The taste of fresh eggs... I can't find the right words that deserve their compliments. Has a fresh and clean taste to them. The yolk doesn't have a harsh "yolks-ness" taste, it's lighter and creamier - if that makes sense?! The difference is in the yolk. I will take creamier over store bought any day. Ex: I make my own fresh pasta noodles from scratch. That alone, the noodles are already fresh and silky. With fresh eggs... "!!!!!" JABA APPROVED. Until the next review....

Visited 7/29/2025 I…read moreWas told this place inside of a Small Mexican Market in Ramona had some decent House made Street Tacos. Well Today was the day I found out what the taco talk was all about. Nice little Mexican Market with a nice selection of food items. Has a nice Butcher Style Meat Counter and a decent selection of meats to choose from. They have Fresh Tortillas brought in each day hot and fresh ready in a giant Insulated Igloo Cooler. The sweet lady I met and the butcher who also cooks some tasty Street tacos I tried were very friendly and helpful. The prices were very fair with most tacos going for $2.49ea. Stuffed with tender Meats of your choosing and topped with your choice of toppings. The in house made Hot Sauces both were excellent. Put a smile on my face. I ordered two each of, The Carne Asada Tacos. The Al Pastor. Tacos. The Carnitas Tacos. And The Lengua Tacos. Wow was i surprised. I never expected to like them all but I did. I ate one of each there and took the other four home for later. 30 seconds in the microwave and they were just as good as the ones I had earlier. I'll be coming here a lot more now that I know how tasty they are. 8 Street Tacos and a Bottle of Orange Soda Wes $25.67 out the door. Very reasonable by todays standards. Sadly they only have two tables inside and none outside. Must do alone of takeout. This place is well worth a try anytime your in Ramona. Check out the menu pictures.
