At this 7-Eleven store in Poway, the gentleman took two of our fantasy five tickets which still had extra days of draws. He did not warn us that once the ticket runs through the machine like that it is voided for any additional plays. My wife asked him to print one play for each of those numbers he voided out for tonight's draw which I thought was a fair resolution. His response was to call my wife a gambling addict as he smiled. There are several other 7-11 stores in Poway, avoid this one! I don't appreciate anyone insulting my wife over a simple matter of customer service which he found to be a slight inconvenience. I will complain to the lottery office and give this man his wish as he said he wished there was no lottery machine in his store. People who want a lottery ticket will buy their cokes and hot dogs at the next 7-11 down the road. Too bad for this owner. read more

You can only leave bad reviews in the 7-Eleven app now so this is the only place I have to say this. This is the only 7-eleven in the area that is actually open during the apps reported times. The staff is wonderful and I've almost completely avoided 7-eleven since the end of the pandemic because of the huge difference in service. If you're in the area it's a great place to stop off for gas and snacks. read more

The owners of this 711 location have not only made the store look really nice but they have transformed it into my favorite local corner store. I always look forward to chatting it up and joking around with whoever is working but I definitely have my favorite people! Decent candy deals - tho I must say that the store brand gummy BEARS are better than the store brand gummy WORMS. Thank you to my fellow locals and the new franchise owners who helped to truly change the vibe of this spot around. Oh and P.S. this place stops selling alcohol at 2AM. Wow, this location usually has professional and nice people here. But they have hired some people, two guys, who were unbelievably unprofessional and rude, not a good look for a business. It happened this morning on Wednesday, January 18th, 2023. The younger one claimed to be Nathan and the other one had long hair, possibly in a ponytail. They treated me with great anger, disrespect, and as unprofessional as one could get. I was very nice because I smile and try to be friendly with all businesses due to living here. This is home. They should not be working with people because they are too angry. They lack the skills needed to work in this type of environment. Usually the workers at 7-11 and other locations nearby are extremely friendly and professional, so this was quite the shock. I was treated badly almost immediately upon entering the store. Even if a store is busy, it doesn't give them the permission to treat people so badly. I really hope the management or owner will take this seriously because that was very unfair and uncomfortable. read more

7-Eleven stores are my favorite place to fill up my gas tank. When I saw this bramch in Poway, I pulled in to fill up & buy some snacks. Friendly service greeted us when walked in. The store was fairly clean. Saw some old products on the shelf. Kind of a turn off. Not sure if I would be a regular at this store. Good service and pricing are positives, though. Kudos to the management/employees and owner of this location. Approximately 3 weeks ago my children received free small Slurpee coupons. We went to 3 (THREE?!?!) other 7-11 locations who flat out refused to accept the coupons. Mind you, my kids were in their baseball uniforms after their practice. The manager( or owner) explained that since the pandemic, the establishment no longer had small cups for Slurpees but would happily make an exception for the children. What a great business to have in the community. My children were delighted and I will now go out of my way to give my business to this particular location. read more

Not sure why there are only 2 one star reviews- I have never had a bad experience at this 7-11. I find the staff very nice and with vibrant personalities. Sometimes their slurpie machine has a could of flavors out of order but then again isn't that the norm at most convenience stores? The blueberry coffee is basically heaven in a cup and the perfect Monday morning pick me up. Great in and out location as well as a quick stop to fill up enough gas until I can get to costco for a fill up! read more

In an effort to boost this 7/11's reviews I give it 4-stars. I've been coming here since I was a little kid, and even got caught stealing a Jolly Rancher. They allow me back, which is nice. I just wish the gas was cheaper, which would have warranted a 5-star rating. It's about 40 cents cheaper just down Poway Road at AM/PM. Otherwise, everyone is really friendly and I never have any problems with service. read more

I come here almost everyday, All the staff members have been very friendly and Pleasant to deal with. This location is in viewable site of two liquor stores with offer the same convenience items yet their parking lots are empty. I recommend this location to others. read more

Friendly staff. They go out of their way to provide excellent customer service . Clean and organized. Coffee is always ready no matter what time I visit. Sometimes I get quick sandwiches or a pizza on the way back from work which they heat up in a clean oven. The convenience of the Gas station also helps. read more

Robert, You, young man, need to be put on Graveyard shift if you want to play games on your phone rather than checking out customers!! I step up to the register that is open and the male employee standing there, sees me..he turns his back sideways to me, as he is "doing something" on side counter...I wait...I wait...waiting.. other female employee comes up...glances over to the male employee that is standing at open register, she looks at me...looks at him at an angel to see what he is doing...she says nothing...shrugs at me...I then lean over to see what "he" is doing...WTH!! ...and I say..."what are you doing? Playing games on your phone?? (I could see his screen-animated/colorful) ...Really?" He says, quietly "rude" and I blast back, as there are now 2 customers behind me waiting..."What did you just say?..Did you call me Rude??..." He said in a arrogant tone..."yes, I did call you Rude!!" ...me "excuse me, you are the Rude one, you saw that I was waiting for you to check out and you CONTINUED to Play your Game on YOUR phone!!...while we all now wait!!" I pushed my item to purchase to him and said to nevermind this purchase, as he continues to repeat that I was the rude one here and telling me to leave...most definetly, I was leaving, but as doing so...I looked for a ID/name badge...nothing and I said "where is your ID badge...what is your name?" ...he is now ready to explode at me...he looks at his co-worker...he is hesitant to give me his name...people are now waiting...WAITING...to make their purchase while A-hole and I have a power struggle because I busted him playing games on his phone and he must have screwed up his score because I interrupted him...oh...dam*!! Me, "What is your name?" asking a second time and he stammers out...softly..."Robert" ...due to his hesitancy, I look at female co-worker..."is his name Robert?"... she says yes, in a quiet voice. I informed Robert that I was going to follow-up on this with owner/Corp, as he is now imploding and tells me to "Get Out!!" hmmm??... and I am being rude?...Wow...what is this guy thinking?? He is on the clock for 7-Eleven, busiest time of the day, and he is letting me stand there at least 10 (real) seconds, which is a long time...ignoring me...yes, he knew I was there, shifting his body to the side to block what he was doing...and I am waiting...waiting...waiting...and I am the Rude one here because I lean over and saw what he was doing...Robert...Robert...Robert!!
