I walked into this store the other day and it was a time warp. I worked next door at Ralph's in high school and my girlfriend worked at TJ's. Oh the memories. Not much has changed and TJ's is always consistent and the same. The highlight of this store is the staff, especially the woman checking me out and ringing up my groceries. We talked about the products I was buying, what was good, and the history of the store. It was pleasant and not a common interaction when grocery shopping. I always find something good whenever I shop at Trader Joe's. It's a good place for both everyday items and unexpected finds. The store is consistently clean and well organized, which makes the whole experience more enjoyable. The employees are also really nice and helpful, always willing to answer questions or point you in the right direction. Only frustrating part is that sometimes when you find things you really enjoy you need to make sure they aren't seasonal. If they are, better stock up. read more

Always a great experience shopping at Trader Joe's with many unique and delicious items available with the Trader Joe's flair. Well stocked and many great products. The employees enjoy working at Trader Joe's and show by offering helpful tips and suggestions. Always a fun experience shopping at Trader Joe's. *While waiting outside for my wife who was shopping at another store, I notice a group of Asian tourists were waiting patiently and excitedly outside the main entrance to shop at Trader Joe's. I also unfortunately overheard a Trader Joe's employee observing the tourists blurt out to a fellow employee at the opposite entrance (the exit), "They're only here for the stupid bags." That's a true statement, however, it's not nice to express a disdain sentiment towards a customer like that. In many Asian countries, Trader Joe's has a reputation for being friendly and respectful and a fun place to shop. Having a bag from Trader Joe's is a highlight of their visit. To them it's a very special bag. You should have a Kiosk with Trader Joe's bags only at airports for the tourists to buy on their way home. Dear Trader Joe's. I love your items. But today 5/18 at 3:45 PM, Stephen R. was my cashier. He did not greet me, so I said hi. Loud enough for him to hear. He didn't respond. Didn't look at me. Actually, he was very conspicuously staring at the behind of the lady before me before he even started scanning my items. He did not say a single thing to me except if I would like a bag. Then he haphazardly tossed my items in, gave me a receipt. I said thank you. He again ignored me. I love Trader Joe's and this location is no exception! This site is clean, well-stocked, sizeable, and has amazing customer service. The selection is varied and fun. The only difficulty is the parking, but in all fairness there are many other stores in this plaza that people may be patroning. read more

TJ always has the best customers service as it's well known for. Nevertheless today it's a step up, which prompts me to write a review about this establishment. This evening I cooked a meatball dish and somehow out of spaghetti. I picked up my daughter from school and she already looking exhausted from volunteering today and it was way past her dinner time too. So I told her we would go to the store to get a pack of spaghetti real quick. I ran in and hoping to get out as quick as possible. Yet somehow my Apple Pay refused to work! After 5 min of trying that seemed like forever, I gave up and felt really embarrassed at the same time. I had to prepare myself to tell my daughter who was expecting a nice meal today to eat the meatballs without the pasta. To me personally, it is no big deal with or without pasta, but it was the drive and the whole ordeal to get there just for one thing was what really bothering me. For sure recommend! I have never met a Trader Joe's I did not like. On a serious note though we always love the staff, they are always friendly and put a smile on our faces. Love the variety of fresh and quick cook style items. Also the range of different foods they offer is great. Most have nice, wide isles and an open environment so even when it is super corded you do not feel like there is no place to go. My son loves the spanakopita in frozen section and my daughter and I love to go pick out a variety of meats, cheeses, and breads to throw together a charcuterie board. Whatever you are looking for (for the most part) Trader Joe's has it. Love heading here to browse, especially when I am not sure what to cook for dinner. I always find something! read more

This was my go to Trader Joe's long ago when I lived in the area. We were in the area and we figured since we needed to stop by a TJ, we'll come here! It was nice visiting, especially since I was over the moon when I walked in on a wet cold rainy day and saw the Hot Chocolate Polar Bears! Yay!!! I have been looking for these bears and everywhere where I went they were sold out with no idea on when and if they would be back. The last time I went decided to check again and ask if they plan on getting any more polar bears, they said yes! They were going to be back in the warehouse and then out to the stores this week! I was going to start my hunt come Monday, but a wonderful surprise, they were already here and not hunting required! I also was finally able to find dried Thyme! Another item I have been searching for at the different Trader Joe's I've been visiting and nothing, not even a tag on where they should be. I was thinking they don't offer it anymore, but found them here! So I stocked up on the Hot chocolate polar bears and thyme of course! :) Get the Polar bears while they're here! It's hard not to love a Trader Joe's! Although the store is small, it's packed with fresh produce, breads, ready to eat/prepare foods, and all sorts of specialty items. I especially love to come here for charcuterie components - love the cheeses! One of the best things about TJs are the employees. There's always someone nearby ready to answer questions or help you find something. And everyone seems to genuinely love working here - they are super friendly, knowledgeable and happy to go above and beyond. read more

The small grocery store has limited vegetable and fruit options but price's are great. The store is well stocked z d the have lots of cashiers when it's busy. That's great. Almost half the store is wine and alcohol selections. Prices were just ok on alcohol. The vibe here is very casual and friendly. We liked it for basic food needs. Another day, another Trader Joe's. I honestly feel like my life was never complete before Trader Joe's came into it. Makes me almost afraid to visit an Aldi, lest I find more in life that I was missing out on. Parking is a bit easier at this location than most, but it still isn't what I would call super easy. When I was here I was specifically looking to pickup some champagne/sparkling wine for Camilla the Yelping Hen to ring in the holiday year. I love all the interesting and affordable options they have! However what really caught my eye was the super large bottles that were only like $13. From France no less! Camilla is a French hen so I thought it would be fun to get her a huge bottle from her home country and watch her go wild trying to drink her size in champers! (Full disclosure: I would help!) As you can see the gift went over very well, and if there is still time I suggest you mob in and grab these while they last. Lilly flower ... only $ 4.99 ! Incredible experience of fresh highly fragrant flowers at a fraction of cost purchased elsewhere. They last about a week or more. Lilly flowers are still in closed buds and open up in a day or two and keep blooming over a week or more. In my experience lily at Trader Joe's come in WHITE , PINK & ORANGE colors. All very pretty. These lily flowers are in my experience in stock year - round at basically every Trader Joe's location in San Diego. Convenient location if you work in the area, to stop by on the way home (like in my case). As others have commented, I also find this Trader Joe's a bit smaller as compared to others. My favorite section is the flowers. There are so many fantastic bouquets, very affordable and beautifully arranged. Every time I go I buy myself one or two! I also buy here olives that come vacuum sealed in plastic, there are so good and price is great. The pre-made soups are a great option for my 'I need a quick dinner' nights. This location has been here forever. They're located in the same plaza at Ralphs, McD, El Pollo Loco. Parking can be down right terrible at all times as the lot can't seem to accommodate everyone. The interior seems a bit outdated and I personally don't like the set up of the aisles or items. It's difficult to find items but perhaps it's because I don't shop at this location often. They do have a nice selection once you find what you need. Check out was ok - there are multiple cashiers but again the layout is a bit wonky. Still, it's always fun and adventurous re exploring a Trader Joes. read more

I hear stories about Trader Joe's workers being super friendly and offering a little something extra when you seem like you're having a rough day and Josh L today was just so friendly! He asked about me and engaged with our son, just a really positive attitude and super friendly. Most employees may say hello but don't go out of their way to be as friendly as he was today. Stopped by this Trader Joes on Sunday on my quest for vermouth. Yes, vermouth. The imported Sole Vermouth Rosso that TJ sells is excellent as an appertivo or for making Manhattans -- much better in my estimation than most of the name brands. I was amused by the quantity of vermouth in the store this day. Trader Joe's has been out of vermouth -- and back ordered -- for four weeks. Having the Suez Canal blocked halted imports from Europe to the West coast. It was obvious that the weekly orders for vermouth were all delivered at once. I have never seen 4-5 cases of vermouth stacked as an off-shelf display in any store before! The store was crowded -- like a pre-pandemic Sunday. Check-out lines were four and five deep. We live in a new world and thankfully Trader Joe's is there to keep everything sane. Where else can you go and find a group of caring, passionate and enthusiastic crew members available with things on the shelves you are eager to try? Yes, they no longer have samples. No longer allow clusters to hang around getting in your way. No longer allow you to bring in any type of bag. After you are provided a sanitized basket, you have the choice of also having hand sanitizer sprayed on your hands. Personally I prefer to have the sanitizer and then get my basket, otherwise hands just contaminated a clean cart. Now they keep your experience in order with taped markings on the ground leading you through the store in an orderly fashion. Fortunately, most customers are wearing face coverings. I only wanted some fresh produce and their yummy snacks. There are a few new adjustments to get used to. 1. They have a marked section for you to wait while they ring up your items. This convenience allows your eyes to wonder. Suddenly there are more goodies added. Once they are finished, you are invited to pay. 2. Card payment or Apple Pay is preferred! That's new and simplifies the transaction. I left my phone, purse and any potential loose item in the car. As such, I only carried in one credit card. Thus I don't have any photos to share. My recommendation for your comfort is to go in solo with one card. You will get out faster and be happy you did. Trader Joe's, I'm not sure who's coming up with your fluid systems. It works. I love TJ's! Let's see what happens in a couple more weeks. I'll be back then. read more
