Neglecting using gloves
Anna P.

Neglecting gloves after the bathroom! Such a disappointing experience at Baskin Robbins. This location is combined with Dunkin' Donuts, yet not a single cashier was at the counter when I arrived. After waiting about 10 minutes, a young woman finally showed up--but instead of acknowledging the customers (there were three of us by then, including a couple behind me), she completely ignored us. When she eventually turned to me, I asked for a sample and was ready to place my order right away. Instead, she immediately switched her attention to the people BEHIND me and started serving them, cutting me off mid-sentence. Their order took another 10 minutes, as the woman was picking out multiple tubs of ice cream and her husband was struggling to get into the bathroom because the code given was "951 backwards" (meaning 951159). The employee then ran over to help with the code (makes you wonder how clean that lock is...), and when she came back, she went straight to scooping ice cream WITHOUT washing her hands or putting on gloves. At that point, I honestly wanted to leave. I don't think it's a customer's job to explain to food service workers why gloves are necessary, especially after touching questionable surfaces. Thankfully, another employee returned from break and served me instead. She was quick, polite, and most importantly, put on gloves. Because of her, I didn't give this place just 1 star. The ice cream itself is always delicious--that's why I go to Baskin Robbins in the first place. But as for this specific location, I'll be avoiding it.

this Dunkin' was the closest breakfast spot to us, our last day here in San Diego. the group was pleasantly surprised with how good their breakfast sandwiches are. i went with avocado toast, bacon bits spread on top of it, paired with a latte

Being originally from the east coast, it's always a nostalgic experience when we get to have some Dunkin Donuts. Our first stop at the Ramona location was a few years ago after a choir concert at a local church. We're all in awe when we noticed the bright building sign while driving down Main Street. We just had to stop since it had been a long while since we had some way back in MA. This last visit was a bit lackluster. The space now shares room with a Baskin-Robbins, the donuts were a bit stale, and it lacked a bit on cleanliness. I hope it was a one-off experience as we do like to enjoy this nostalgia from time, but if not we know we can get it closer to home now as more stores are popping up.

My "veggie egg white" omelet bites... clearly with bacon.

Two days in a row I've been there super early around 5:30. First day I ordered an oat milk latte and got regular milk... second day (today) ordered veggie egg white omelet bites and they gave me the bacon ones. This place obviously does not cater to vegetarians.. or care what peoples allergens are. What if I was allergic? They've also taken off the only good vegetarian option from their menu... the beyond sausage sandwiches.. I just don't see a reason to return to this place. Only reason I'm going is bc Starbucks is closed for renovations across the street.

Soup sandwich, cold wraps.

They have dicked up my order so many times, I've lost track. This franchisee gives the brand a huge black-eye. The staff are teens who don't give'a shit. I've been served stale donuts more times than not. Their Bottom Cream is never done right.., very little custard inside. They have served up stone cold wake-up wraps, when they should have been warm. ...cold bacon egg and cheese sandwiches. Right. Soup-sandwich in the bottom of the bag. They have served up luke warm coffee when it should of been hot. I've asked for coffee w/ cream... no cream. I've driven several miles after leaving the drive-thru to find my order incorrect or my sandwiches a huge mess in the bottom of the bag. The drive-thru is ate up. Consistently screw up orders. I've got to double check my order ALL the time, EVERYTIME.. Bring reading material if you go inside, you'll be standing around waiting for your order to be taken. They're so dicked up 'n disorganized they'll forget your order or screw it up. The staff are not knowledgeable with the Dunkin' app, so don't ask. You'll have to figure that out yourself. I 'ought to look forward to getting my breakfast on-the-go and my coffee from Dunkin', but I don't because they screw it up consistently. I figured it was time to leave a review. This has been going on ever since they opened this location. In summary.., the staff consistently get it wrong. The staff are inadequately trained, unprofessional and are consistently unwelcoming and unpleasant. Recommendations; I have had few pleasant experiences here. They get it right few 'n far between...When the cats away, the mice will play. - train your staff - hire more staff - quit being unpleasant, care about your work, you effect a person's day. ...god forbid they ask you to pull forward cuz they'll bring you your coffee..they'll forget about ya 'n you'll sit there for 10 minutes, then have to go inside to recover your order. Ate up. I come here all the time 'n they are SCREWED UP! Fix it!!

Best of Ramona! It's sad that San Diego doesn't have more Dunkin' Donuts locations, but thankfully after a long day of hiking we found this oasis. This isn't just a Dunkin' Donut franchise, it's also a Baskin-Robbins. This Ramona location is great looking on the inside and out. We picked several donuts and some of their famous coffees. All were delicious. Recommended.. - lots of seating inside - clean - nice decor - friendly service - great donuts - great coffee - cool merchandise

Dropped by on a Saturday morning. First time in a Dunkin' here in CA. The drive thru was a mile long so we parked & went indoors. Stood in line for a few for a regular coffee with creamer & a chocolate frosted donut. Both passed the test! Thank you Dunkin'!!

Clearly a 16 Oz cup which is a DD Small, but the worker said this was a medium.

Horrible service, went today and waited 20 minutes for someone to even notice me and nothing, literally left the place empty handed.

In fact even if you don't live here you should stop by. You won't regret it. If you want mediocre pastries that do nothing but scratch your sweet tooth, there are dozens of places out there that are happy to do the bare minimum. Donutopolis in Poway is not one of those places. For the same price if not better than their competitors you will received not only some of the best donuts you have ever eaten, from flawless classics to innovative specialties, you will also receive so of the best customer service you have ever had at a donut shop, or most other restaurants for that matter. The staff have made their small corner store into a friendly and comfortable place to pickup treats for your events or sit down for a fulfilling breakfast any day of the week, and with special made-to-order treats for larger events, such as their giant birthday donut, Donutopolis is your one stop shop for all your donut needs. A personal favorite of mine is their maple bacon bar which I can comfortably say is the single best maple bacon donut I have ever had, and they are consistent. In fact once when I went in to get one before work they were sold out, and when I asked if they had any the baker offered to make me one right then and there. For no extra cost he didn't just sprinkle bacon bits on a plain maple bar and call it a day, he used fresh maple icing to glue the bits onto the bar, a bit of extra effort that I truly appreciated as I had to eat it on the go. It's the little things like that which show me that the people running this store and making these donuts aren't just doing the bare minimum, they care about their craft and they are dedicated to bringing you fresh and delicious donuts every time you visit, never cutting corners and never disappointing.

I'm sure a lot of people like it but I found the donut very dry and lacking flavor…read more The staff was kind though, he even let me take away without the extra .10 for the glazed old fashioned.

They also have a big grab‑and‑go section filled with fresh pasta, dips, and sandwiches. I love that they carry a large selection of local wines and locally made goods -- such a good spot for a meaningful gift or a Ramona souvenir. The café was also excellent; the coffee beans were from Joshua Tree Coffee, and the chocolate chip cookie was amazing. Plenty of parking, lots of options, and a fun stop overall. A great addition to any Ramona day trip.
