Wow. Believe the reviews. Stopped in to wait while my dog got groomed. Ordered a coffee and breakfast sandwich on the Dunkin app. Received it and set up my laptop in the lobby to do some work. After 15 minutes, I left. The crew of three spent the entire time complaining about customers who don't have their payment ready and co-workers that no call/no show and don't pull their weight. An associate named Rachel used the F word about 10 times (mind you, I'm still in the lobby). The final straw was when the manager laughed after a customer ordered a drink like he was at Starbucks and she commented "I think he's one of those fairy types". Awesome, I get my coffee and a side of homophobia. Do yourself a favor. Go somewhere else.

My experience here wasn't bad, but also nothing to brag about. Interior of the restaurant was filthy. I went right when it opened. Trash was over flowing onto the counter (clearly not taken out at closing or opening for that matter) tables full of crumbs and spills, wrappers on the floor. Staff was kind and my order came out correct. Bagel sandwich was barely warmed, cheese not melted at all. Ice coffee was as expected. This location could use some love and attention

Ordered online and when we got there ovens were broken. Made us go in and wait in line to fight for a refund. Sold us 2 chais that weren't full. Wtf Dunkin. Take their franchise license away this makes you look terrible.

Zero stars...I just waited in line for 20 minutes for three messed food items ... love dunkin and I came here from out of town this place gave me a triple vanilla cinnamon in my chai latte.it was supposed to be regular .when I opened my bagels there wasn't even enough cream cheese for half of a bagel and then Halfway through eating it I found long hair in my cream cheese and both were burned ! Not that it was a mistake cause both bagels were burnt with barely any cream cheese and my drink was wrong and furthermore disgusting .

This is the coffee I received one time from this Dunkin location

The Dunkin franchise needs to just close this location already... They will never get anything right. Time and time again my order is wrong or missing something. The picture attached is the coffee I was given one time which in fact was cleaning solution and not a coffee.

Terrible. First off I've made many runs through this location since it opened before 2020. You've always had to dodge crater holes getting into the parking lot. Years later, rugged terrain is still there. Today I waited in line for 15 minutes to get to the order board. To kill time I went online and signed up for membership since it kept prompting me. I figure I'll take advantage of a offer. $3 wrap with purchase looked good. Finally get to place my order and ask for a Pumpkin Spice latte only to be told we dont have any pumpkin flavor. Whattt the heck you have signs all over the building and driveway and the web saying it's Pumpkin time!! Order your pumpkin drinks but you have none. Ok I switch to Carmel and order the $3 wrap. Now I'm told you don't sell wraps anymore. Why would you offer me a discount on something you don't sell anymore online and why is it still listed on the order board in the drive they?! Ok second disappointment but I change my order to add a $3 croissant sandwich deal to my latte since board says you can add a donut or this sandwich to any coffee. Cool...I'm trying to be flexible. Then the cashier says sorry you can't get that deal because you ordered a latte. Now I'm like WT!!! I don't get it. The cashier says a Latte is not coffee so it doesn't qualify for the deal to add a sandwich to your coffee for less. I'm steaming now but I pay full price and get it anyway and say nothing to complain that this is ridiculous. And what do I get for all my trouble...this completely burnt up sandwich. Never again!!! Starbucks is two blocks away so save yourself the frustration. STAY AWAY!!!

Although we love Dunkin' Donuts... we very rarely get what we order from this store. After 2 trips through the drive thru this morning, they still didn't get my order of four donuts and a breakfast sandwich correct. Although we were able to keep the donuts that were wrong from the first time thru, we still only got 3 of the donuts we ordered. It is frustrating to say the least but extremely disappointing to kids.

Rise n' Roll was founded in Middlebury, Indiana by an Amish family as an offshoot of the family's selling of donuts from the porch of their Shipshewana home. Established a Rise n' Roll in 2004, it stayed relatively small for years. The original bakery didn't use electricity, refrigeration, or modern tech. Everything was by hand. In 2009, the Amish owner sold the company to a non-Amish family. It was moved to a larger facility - the original owner stayed employed by the company and the small bakery began to expand including franchising. In recent years, the Central Indiana presence has grown. Rise n' Roll offers donuts, pastries, Amish goods, deli, and other items. While I was sad to see Rise n' Roll leave their Broad Ripple spot, truthfully I tend to resonate more with its simpler locations (there's now a smaller shop in Nora). This spot in Avon reminds me of Nora. I believe the Indiana-based chain has 16 locations statewide. I'm a definite fan of the chain and have never had a bad experience at any location in terms of product or people. I primarily stick to donuts when coming here, however, I'll occasionally deviate. While I'd say that Rise n' Roll is decked out a bit nicer than Carl's, I felt a similar vibe here. In a town that has multiple options, it's really important to distinguish yourself and Rise n' Roll does that nicely. The cinnamon caramel donut is perhaps its most widely known and beloved option, however, I'm a fan of chocolate frosted (yeast or cake). Donut offerings can vary between locations. Employees here are friendly. The strip center has accessible parking with appropriate curb cuts. The single glass door was pretty manageable. I get the sense they'd easily help if help was needed, though it's obvious that most folks with disabilities prefer independence. Overall, I'd easily claim Rise n' Roll as one of my Avon favorites. I won't dare rank the five, though a quick read of my reviews would likely make it obvious. For a more natural option in a pleasing, welcoming setting it doesn't get much better than Rise n' Roll.

There are more things in the back and even an extensive boba drink menu. There are restrooms here. The service was good. The donuts are delicious. There are some really nice unique flavors. The coffee menu is extensive. I didn't see coffee on the menu online. I got the Bismark crunch. This was good but the crunch pieces on top just sank to the bottom because of how heavy it was. I thought it was going to be smaller pieces in the coffee. I got the lemon Blueberry and cinnamon caramel with Bavarian filling. Will def be back to try more flavors

I've joked about the donut wars going on in Avon, Indiana as my life has taken me through Hendricks…read moreand Putnam counties quite a bit lately. Avon has at least four donut shops within 1-2 miles of each other - Parlor, Dunkin, Pana, and Carl's. Of these, Carl's is clearly the "local" shop. It has the look and feel of a gathering place. While the others do offer sit-down dining, especially Parlor, Carl's feels like a smalltown donut joint with its simple but pleasant decor, lower pricing, and comfortable but pleasing service. Carl's Donuts & Bakery is a locally owned donut shop (Pana is also locally owned, though a growing chain). Carl's also doubles as a cafe and also serves other breakfast items alongside its donuts. The major plus to this approach for a guy like me is that fountain drinks are available including iced tea. I'm constantly dismayed how hard it is to get iced tea in donut shops. I was dismayed to read Jen F's review noting poor customer service as my experience was quite the opposite with customer service being a key strength. The basics: Carl's is located in what looks like a small office complex with a mix of retail and personal service type businesses. It's toward the back. There's some accessible parking and appropriate curb cuts. There's a double entry with glass doors that were pretty easy to manage. As you enter, a dining area is directly to the front of you and to the right side. To the left is the ordering area - I think I goofed up at entry - you begin toward the back and then exit out the front path. I went in through the front, though there wasn't a line and no one said anything. The employees asked if I was ordering breakfast or donuts. I typically get 2-3 donuts and a drink. I stuck with this plan, however, given the comfy atmosphere opted to dine in. I haven't had much time to rest recently and it was nice to sit down. I felt a little out of place (everyone else was clearly local), though everyone was friendly. I ordered chocolate covered yeast donuts and a fountain unsweetened iced tea. They offer discounts, it seems to military, teachers, and first responders. The donuts had a slightly thicker yeast than some that lean toward fluffy. These were more substantial. The chocolate reminded me of Titus Bakery. The iced tea was great - no clue on brand. I could have stuck with two donuts instead of three and been satisfied. The service was a top feature here for me. They were friendly, helpful, and patient as I figured things out. I watched them easily serve a group of senior males gathering in one corner (pouring coffee, etc.). Carl's does not have a drive-thru. Their Facebook indicates they offer curbside pick-up. In future visits, I'd likely experiment with donuts. This particular chocolate is not a favorite for me. I enjoyed it, but I'd easily experiment. There's no doubt I'd return for the service. At a time when I've recently lost my last family member, it was nice to be in a comfortable, welcoming, and warm environment. It did my spirit good. I would also love to return to enjoy a meal here. Carl's wasn't packed, but it was steady throughout my visit and it's clear that Avon loves its donuts and it loves its smalltown gathering spaces.

There was a line of people waiting patiently to select their donuts when we walked in. There were many cases filled with fresh donuts, fritters, danish, turnovers and more. Two clerk were assisting customers, most of whom were buying several dozen donuts. I got a glazed donut and my husband got an apple fritter. The fritter was bigger than his head. My glazed donut was a cake donut. It was light with a perfect glaze. The apple fritter was like a coffee cake with lots of apples and a glazed topping. He shared the fritter with our granddaughters. There was plenty to go around. The cafe serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. They have daily meal specials. The lady in line ahead of us said the pork tenderloin is the best in town. Pork tenderloin is only served Monday-Thursday. We'll have to come back. They have about 20 tables for eat-in dining. There is a unisex restroom. Stop #4 of the donut trail will require a return visit.

I've been a loyal customer since the days of the physical member card, and even now that everything is digital, I still enjoy coming here. While I was there, the barista Marcus (I believe that was his name) was friendly and pleasant throughout my visit. I noticed some coupons displayed in the window and asked if I could have the coupon sheet to use on my return trip. This is not uncommon because they give these to customers to use. He was about to give them to me when another barista stopped him and said that the ones he was handing me were their last sheet. I was a bit confused, since the coupons were clearly displayed in the drive-thru window, and I wondered if more could simply be printed. When I asked, I was told they hadn't received additional sheets yet, so they couldn't give out the last ones. Unfortunately, there didn't seem to be any effort to offer an alternative or accommodate the request, which was disappointing. I ended up leaving feeling a bit uncomfortable despite the great service from Marcus. The lady wasn't very kind with her approach but denying me coupons to SUPPORT a local business wasn't on my bingo card for my birthday. Anyway, I enjoyed my coffee, the initial service and supporting a locally owned business.
