This is no Parisienne pastry shop but this is what you get in suburbia. One evening I'm driving home & I see a flashing open sign in the Friedman shopping center. As I cruise by it's a new DunkinDonuts. I make a mental note to go back another time. I have to add all the independent donut holes close early & so does this shopping center so I was amazed that it was open past 8pm. Now last time I was in a DunkinDonut was years ago in a horrific summer rain storm in upstate New York. And no one was in the shop but some cops, sounds like a cliche but not, and since I'm not from the east coast it was the first time I experienced a summer storm & it was a downpour. So Dunkin finally lands in Petaluma. This time I tried the Bravarian creme stuffed donut with a powder sugar coating. It was about 7:30pm when I bought it for $1.19 $1.29 w/tax. It was fresh & pretty damn good at 270 calories(they have calorie tags near description) my friend wanted a bar donut but they didn't have any, she got something else. They have donut holes for .70 each. There is no by the dozen or late nite specials. They have a coffee special after 2pm for $2 & they are known for good coffee, but hey it's a donut shop, duh, get some donut specials. The gal behind the counter mentioned they have a free donut w/purchase of drink on 1st Friday of the month but couldn't confirm. The reason for 4 stars is it is a very sterile atmosphere, Dorthy we're not in Kansas anymore or New York for that matter. This is the wine country, soften up the decor or put in some decor. This place is a shit show. We drove from Novato to get a Charlie drink. I ordered an ice chai with oat milk not anything fancy. 40 min later they put out the wrong drink. Are you kidding me. So glad Dunkin Donuts is now open. We've been waiting for a decent donut shop for years. Being from Massachusetts, we were thrilled to be able to buy their great donuts. The staff has been very busy, but efficient. Order the dark roast coffee as the regular is kind of weak. Will continue to patronize this new donut shop. read more

I was excited to hear a DD was coming to town since I loved them when I lived in the Northeast. The place started off great but in less than a month has gone way down hill. The last four times I've gotten an iced coffee with cream and sugar it has made me sick. Only thing I figure is bad cream, contaminated water? No one shows up in the morning to open the store until 5 mins to 5. If you're lucky. Today no one was in the store until 5am sharp. All the donuts are there in the racks at opening, fresh from the "days before". I think I'll start going back to Peet's where the store is open in time, the folks are friendly and the food and drink doesn't make me sick when I eat or drink it. read more

Ridiculous! I download their app and load $10 to get a free drink, get my free drink and go to order my donuts and my $10 is on the app but says insufficient funds. They scan it again, still shows $10 and again... Insufficient funds. I exit the app and reopen it and again... $10 balance and they scan my free drink, cash out and now it's $0. Hmmm... but I didn't get my donuts? The lady there was just rudely polite telling me to contact the app or my bank if the $10 was taken out which it was when I downloaded the app and loaded the card last month! Ugh! I went the very first morning they were open but decided to hold off reviewing for a few months until I was sure it was consistent. That being said, I have always had fast and friendly customer service. The donuts are okay. They ARE a step above grocery store donuts, but I would prefer any other actual donut shop over these donuts. I'll still get one or two when I stop in but they are nothing to rave about. Now I had always heard Dunkin Donuts coffee was good, so that was the biggest disappointment. It tastes like watered down hotel coffee, I can understand why they have so many flavor add-ons now. On the other hand, I bought their bagged coffee they had in-store and made it at home and it was very good. So the franchisee probably don't know how to make coffee. I have also tried a couple of the breakfast sandwiches, I really like them. The sandwich with the double sausage and the 2 for $5 bacon egg cheese croissant. Simple, Greasy deliciousness. Also the hash browns-- They are my favorite fast food hash browns now. They're oven-toasted or whatever so kinda greasy but not too much. Never again. The old manager has left and now this place is a shit hole. The cashiers have no respect for the customers. There was two cashiers and one was helping a gentleman and the lady in front of me was walking up to the other and the gentleman whispered something to the other cashier that the lady was walking to all three looked at her and they laughed. I was surprised she didn't just say fuck you all and leave. It was my turn then and it was only one cashier on the right register. I frequently go in to dunkin and get amazing service, the manager Serena and much of the other staff has my order memorized and always makes my order right fast. The main reason why I'm not giving 5 stars is because one of the workers who used to never get my order right, gives me a whole lot of attitude, doesn't pick up trash off the floor even though its right in front of her, and heck she cant even spell her name right. Although she does work hard in some sense by helping coworkers when shes off the clock and can now make my coffee right (except when she puts to much ice in it). Overall a great dunkin to get coffee and doughnuts if you can avoid that one worker. read more

Finally made it in to try our very own Dunkin - a regular when visiting east coast family. I got my favourite, a medium caramel swirl latte, whole milk, extra sugar. YUM - did not disappoint. I also got the veggie egg white breakfast wrap (onion and bell pepper in the egg white, super yum especially for $1.79), the hash browns (seasoned and a little burnt, but I'm not complaining for $0.99), and topped it off with a strawberry sprinkle donut (personally, I won't be getting that again. I wanted to try something different, but I am definitely a maple donut kind of girl). Very pleased with my visit! read more

First off, if you walk in and see Jackson at the front, be prepared for the BEST service and overall experience. I am from socal and am used to my dunkin back home that has the best service and best coffee. When i moved here, I started going to this dunkin and never had a good experience, but went for the coffee. It was okay but really nothing out of the ordinary and a bit over priced for the size. I decided to try this place because I work a few minutes away. I am so happy to see that I'm the only customer there! Plenty of parking and the location is great! The store is super clean and very nice. All is good until I walk up to the register. The girl looks like she hates her job. No smile and a fake hello. I placed my order and she didn't say thank you or wait over there...nothing. The other girl that made my drink called out my number and just placed my drink on the counter. If I could give this place 0 stars I would but I can't do I guess 1 star works. The manager locked himself in the bathroom and put up a sign saying that the bathroom is out of service and you can clearly hear him talking on the phone. He left an underage worker in charge while he was in there for 30-45 minutes. The doughnuts are trash and super dry. The best thing they have here is their Vanilla Chais. I was excited that a Dunkin Donuts opened near me as I grew up on the east coast and on Dunkins. I went there this morning to get a tea and a breakfast sandwich. I ordered and was very clear to the checker that I did not want cheese on sandwich. I got my tea and food and excitedly opened sandwich to eat it and there is cheese on it. I now cannot eat my breakfast. My receipt clearly states no cheese but the guy making my food was not paying attention. I will not go back soon as I should not have to police my food being made especially when there was just one other customer in the store. The guy was not trying to make 6 items. Ugh. Pretty disappointing. We had a DD in Santa Rosa about ten years ago. It was nice, spacious and served good coffee. The Petaluma store is not like that--front of the building is weed covered, so you need a machete to get to the entrance. Inside dingy, depressing. No display case for the donut, so you have to crane your neck and look behind the server to point out what you want,and the coffee is terrible, just black water. The doughnuts are good, as expected, but you wouldn't want to linger here and you wouldn't want to drink any of the coffee. I would say they spared no expense on this store, but the opposite is true. It's one thing to go into a small dive donut shop under a Manhattan subway, but we can do a little better in Petaluma. read more

The snotty teenager working the front counter rolled her eyes at me when I explained to my elderly mother that the cinnamon roll that the girl was trying to sell her was not the same as the cinnamon donut that she wanted.
