The guy is really nice but the old woman in there I'm a student at Rancho and I brought my own Ramen and he filled it up with water and then I wanted to add hot sauce into it and she snatched it the hot sauce and hid it from me so I wouldn't use it as a student. Been buying donuts from here for years, but for the last 10 months my schedule has me going in earlier and they aren't open yet when I leave. I just moved to Rohnert Park and wanted to find a good donut spot so I gave them a try since it was near my place. There was a small like of about 4 when I arrived but it was moving along at a decent pace. The donuts were tasty and the best part for me were the bear claws they have there. This place reminds me of every day after middle school where I'm trying to scrap my last dollar or two.. and asking my bus buddy if he could spot me(I never paid him back, btw) so I could function for the rest of the night before finally going home. People get their ham and cheese which is $3.25 and ask the lady to heat it up... original glazed will cost you $.90 and specialties are at $1.50. chocolate milk in a carton is $1.50 and fresh squeezed orange juice is $2.00 large coffee $1.50 (they should really post a picture of their menu) though the shop is kind of hard to figure out because you're not really in there to figure out what kind of donut person you are The donuts are good. Maple glazed is probably the thing I loved the most. This is solid donut shop located in a strip mall across from rancho cotate high school. It's a second generation locally owned business with awesome donuts. The coffee is old school, brewed in a pot cowboy style-strong enough to float a horseshoe. The inside seating area is small but cozy. It's a great stop for the basics of coffee and donuts. read more

I happened to be up early this morning and thought a fresh from the oven cinnamon roll sounded amazing so I headed down to Jelly Donut a bit after they opened, say around 5:10am. Unfortunately 80-90% of their display rack space was empty of product with only a very small selection of donuts I had no interest in displayed. I asked how long until they had any cinnamon rolls available and was politely told it would be 30 minutes after which I said "thank you" and left empty handed. Maybe because of Covid they're seeing decreased business so feel they cant offer a selection in the early morning but honestly if that's all they can put out maybe they should move their opening time to 6am. At any rate, this place has good donuts but don't show up before 5:30am if you want any kind of selection. read more

We've been going here for about 4 years now and the last couple times have been a disappointment. The donuts were dry and slightly stale--this was at 8:30am on a weekday, but it's summer so they're not getting the student traffic so maybe that's the problem? They also use to have several fancier donuts like a raspberry cream, and a bacon maple.
