I saw there was a deal for $3 half dozen donuts so I ordered ahead on the app. When I arrived, my order was not ready yet. There was only one customer when I arrived and only one staff member doing everything. I did have to wait a little but the staff was nice and got it ready as soon as he finished with the customer. The cream/jelly filled donuts came heart shaped, as Valentine's Day is approaching. I liked the glazed blueberry donut. However, most of them didn't seem that fresh. I don't live in Petaluma so, I don't go here much. Today I was in the area and decided to get coffee. I pulled up the menu online and saw a drink I liked but, it was not on the menu in the store. The employee was very nice and patient about my drink request. They offered to make me what was describing. I pulled it up again and showed them. They indicated they knew what I was looking for and could make it They did and were very pleasant about it. Unfortunately, I had been traveling and did not have any small bills to tip them. This is just the kind of employee who actually deserves a tip. I declined a receipt so, I did not get their name. He was tall with light blue eyes, dark wavy hair and glasses. I ordered two hot drinks because I wanted them for later. They both came iced even though I specifically clicked on the hot ones. They're going to be watered down later. Colby W. described my mindset this particular night. Burger at Habit then a donut. Oh geez, the shame, the guilt...the pleasure. It was pretty full, despite being a late Thursday evening. I guess I'm not the only one who appreciates a sweet treat now and again. :) Service was fast and fairly friendly, though we were maybe a bit slow in the decision-making since it was our first time. The second visit: There were two cashiers. We got the female cashier. I ordered two donuts and a drink and apparently that will fill up a family of 4. She totaled me out and I had to tell her we were not done yet. Then after we had to tell her each item she tried to total us out instead of asking will that be all? She seemed to have a very hard time remembering what we just said. Had a very not there demeanor about her almost as if she was under the influence of something that prohibited her from completing a customer service task. I wrote the company about the very opposite experience I got from my first visit to most likely my last. I was emailed back stating that the area manager would reach out to me. And over a week later there has been nothing. They are not interested in what you think of customer service and apparently expect us to be glamored by the name to not notice the horrible service that is given. First Visit review: I used to visit a DD when I lived in Va. Very happy that they have come to the west coast. I inhaled the strawberry frosted. The Mint Brownie was super delicious. Subtle mint not too over powering. And lots of the filling! The bottle French Vanilla coffee was good too. Not overly sweet like one of their main competitors (on the coffee side *$). Might be coffee flavoring they added but it was smooth and like I said not overly sweet. The customer service was nice for quick service. We ordered two donuts each and both got a bottled drink. Not horribly priced. But definitely something to make a treat once in a while. The kids will love it. Especially the glazed chocolate donut holes. I generally prefer Dunkin over Starbucks. This Dunkin' Donuts though could almost make me reconsider. They did not have a good selection of donuts. No old fashioned, just the typical stuff you'd find at Safeway. The coffee is good and they do have a better selection of food, unlike Starbucks. This Dunkin's bathrooms were clean, so that's a plus. YOU CABT SILENCE ME I had wrote a review and they had reported it as I am a past employee and they don't want you to know the disgusting things that happen here or how they constantly violate child labor laws and health codes and even just basic labor laws working here was like having my soul drained from me I was -5 years old and they had expected me to do absolutely everything waking up at 4:30am every school day to work till 9:45 when I would then go to school at 10:00am as I didn't have a first period and when they found out they took advantage of this fact. When I quit and finally got the paystubs for supposedly the whole time I worked their their was not a single hour of overtime. Fast forward to January 2023 I had not received my taxes I had reached out to the district manger Jhon he had first told me he had not sent them and that he would let me know the status on Monday Monday rolled around and I gave him a call he then changed his story and said that they had already been sent and not only that they were in my portal (I was never givin a portal link or code the whole time I worked their) and when I asked for my portal information as I had never been given it he could not do that for me he then asked me to confirm my address and told me I was lucky he was even doing that as he wasn't required bc it was in the portal (not true I am required to be mailed a form as well it is I'm my rights as a employee in California) he asked for my address I waited a full mounts before I reached out again I made sure I sent him the right address and when I had asked again he just ghosted me no response it's now July and I still have not received my w2 form tax session has been extended to October but I've been begging since February with no response. This place is also extremely nasty I was asked to serve expired products multiple times I was the only employee with a food handlers lisnce for months I was asked to open alone my 3rd day and was also training people my 3rd day as a 15 year old. And I was asked to serve expired syrup constantly and was displined for throwing out expired non dairy milk as well as when our mini pancakes got mold I threw all them away and replaced them even tho the new ones needed time to thaw as I thought we shouldn't be serving any that have touched ones with mold my manger Betty did not see it this way and borderline screamed at me saying "what if somone orders the panels what will we " insisting I should have only threw the few with mold away and leave the rest in the container honestly I was in so much shock bc I thought I was firmly doing the right thing by throwing them out she even decreased my hours for this reason but I thought everyone's safety was more important then them not being able to eat a pancake till tomorrow morning read more

I asked him if I could get a new cup for my coffee since he put his fingers inside the cups. He did so but told me that if it makes a difference, he just washed his hands. Since all of my family lives in the east coast, you know that I need to hit up a Dunkin' Donuts anytime I'm in the neighborhood. So thrilled that a DD opened up in Petaluma. Downloaded the app before I arrived, and was sure happy that I did. I got a free beverage of any size right off the bat. Thanks Dd! Tried the Girl Scout inspired espresso drink, this time around I went for the coconut caramel iced latte. It was the perfect amount of sweetness and flavor. Of course Dunkin' Donuts masters the flavored iced coffee. Now of course we aren't talking artisan small coffee shop coffee, but good old reliable Dunkin' Donuts sippable refreshment. Then we got a few orders of hash browns. If you haven't tried their hash browns before, they are a just have any time of the day. They are small circles and have herbs on the outside that make the outer crust crunchy and flavorable. Be warned, they are addicting! Of course I took my son so we had to grab a bagel, donuts and munchkins to go too. A trip to dd isn't complete without a table filled of goodies. The salesgirl was working all alone, but was really nice and helpful. She even suggested since we were buying five donuts to add one more for a better half dozen pricing. Growing up in New York, then later visiting...a trip to Dunkin' Donuts was a magical experience. Maybe I was young and naive, but that WAS a long time ago. Where I used to live and still visit often, Dunkin' was replaced by another chain (Tim Horton's) that is far superior. I don't get down to Petaluma often, but today I happened to be in town and decided I wanted a cool drink on a warm day. Why not a donut too? Let's start w/ the donut. I know Dunkin's donuts are normally shipped frozen and baked in store...so they aren't "fresh." You can taste the difference from your mom and pop (and much better) local donut shop. The donut tasted stale. The filling tasted a bit off. Not a good donut at all. I could either blame the drink on myself or Dunkin. I ordered one of those Girl Scout flavored frozen coffee drinks. It was undrinkable. Either they made it wrong (doubt it) or it was just that bad. I'll go w/ bad and my fault for ordering a limited specialty drink - Should have kept it simple. I could only manage to finish half and tossed the rest out upon arriving home. Mid-afternoon. I was the only person in the store. I was excited to see Dunkin' open a store in our area. I was hoping they'd find there way to Santa Rosa...now I could care less. That was awful and it probably ruined me from Dunkin' in the future. I can still taste that nasty drink in my mouth. If I could review with -1 stars, I would. I picked up my order this morning and then asked if could order an horchata (Frozen Vanilla Chai) from them. The man pointed to the line and said "over there", so I patiently waited 10 min in line. The kid came up and I asked if I could order 2 horchatas and he simply told me that they don't have horchata. I told him I understand, I just didn't know the name as it was one of my first times coming in. I had described it as a vanilla cold drink and he seemed to realize I meant the Frozen Vanilla Chai, and I was relieved for a moment. Only for him to tell me their machine wasn't working (Lies). As I walked back to the counter for my order, the man that had originally told me to wait in line to order told me, "sorry, we just don't have the crème for that drink you want". Then I replied with, "I thought your machine wasn't working?, so which is it?" And just looked at me with confused silence for a moment before saying, "We're busy sorry." and no clear answer. I just decided to walk out and save my money at that point. If you're going to lie, at least get your stories straight. Or just be honest and tell me you don't want to make it. Donuts as far as the eye can see....but that's not all that is at Dunkin Donuts. Of course, there's their coffee but they also have breakfast sandwiches and wraps as well as sandwiches and wraps for lunch. Now it's not like going to a deli to place a specialty sandwich order, there are about 5 or so lunch sandwiches & 10 or so breakfasts. I don't recall if this location has the chicken salad sandwich that I saw online, but they might, I just know that their app does not show it. Oh and that reminds me.....This was my first time in DD, there were 2 people at the counter working as well as taking orders from 2 individuals, there were 2 people in line a head of me and about 8 people behind me. And it was not quite 9:30am. I wanted to get the double sausage breakfast sandwich but noticed that on their menu board it did not mention whether or not you have a cheese choice. When I got to the front to order I asked about the cheese and was told that it was only American cheese unless specified. GAG! So with that I opted for a bagel with cream cheese, has browns and jelly filled donut holes. The person that was helping me was very helpful, personable & cheerful. It took about 4 minutes to get my bagel with cream cheese & hash browns. You don't get a choice of bagels it's just a plain bagel. Now to the good part.....I was looking around and saw signs about their app. I downloaded the app and I can actually order, pay and pick up without having to wait in line just like at Starbucks. Woo hoo!!! And with their app I can change breads or change the nasty American cheese to white cheddar cheese for their sandwiches. There is plenty of parking as this is located in a shopping center. The restaurant is clean with plenty of seating inside. If you're in a hurry, don't want to wait in line, have places to go, people to see, I suggest downloading the DD app on your phone, place & pay for your order then head on over to DD to pick it up and bypass the line. read more

I have gone here twice, both times great service. First visit was about 9am and I ordered eight dozen doughnuts, not a problem . I actually was dropping them off to my customers. They loved them, So I decided I would do more this time I called in the day before and ordered 16 dozens, I said I would be there 7:15 am, it was a big order and I was thinking I wonder if this will be a problem. To be fair, me and my wife LOVE the Dunkin chain. When we discovered this location, almost two years ago, and we became frequents. The Manager, at the time, David, was charismatic, enthusiastic, and never shied away from a conversation. Even knew our names and those who also frequented. He genuinely cared for his store and the people he served. Even the staff that accompanied him in pitching in thier own money on holidays for decorations making the store feel "small town" and homey. But... with all good things... David found a better opportunity and left. Old staff left too. New staff rotated. With that there have been unsavory people who work there. Which brings me to my next point. Specifically, Serena, who is now manager. Since her installment we have noticed that she is condescending, has a lack luster attitude, and has no social awareness in how she deals with Guests and Staff alike. Since her promotion, quality assurance is non existent. Customer service? Forget it. If the fun could be sucked out of a room, then she is the vacuum. A now very poor store for a very poor manager. That's being generous. Today, the cold brews we ordered were diluted and without flavor, despite flavor being added. When paying for the items, a cashier, who is obvisously new, had issues inputting it. To no fault of his own. However, when he asked for help, Serena took no time in chastising him, having him figure it out for himself in the worst possible way. Making upsetting faces, holding her emotions on her sleeve, and obvisously appearing as though he is wasting her time in a dead store. Instead of a training opportunity, she managed to make him uncomfortable, and us as the customer, become a form of a neglected dog, ordering for us and to him in the 3rd person. The only redeeming quality is Shift Lead Jackson. He reminds me of David when he was around. Only recently met him but, as of right now. These frequents will take our buisness elsewhere. Last week I was thrilled to learn that Dunkin' Donuts had opened in the city where I live. I have been waiting and trying to find the right opportunity to sneak over there before going to work one morning. I'm kind of sad about this review. But I have to say that my visit to this Dunkin' Donuts will probably ensure that I never visit another one again in my entire life. I went in this morning to get a little breakfast and donuts for my workplace. I got a toasted bagel, a large cup of their famous coffee, and two dozen assorted donuts. I grew up with Dunkin' Donuts back east, so I had a memory of what it would be like now that they have returned to California. Sadly, this food and coffee is nothing like it used to be. Maybe I'm spoiled by generally buying food made with fresh local ingredients,, but honestly my recollections of Dunkin' Donuts are all so positive, rooted in the enjoyment of delicious coffee and decent donuts. The coffee is just OK. It's kind of watered down, and has little of the flavor that I remember. The bagel is 100% inedible. The bag it came in would taste better. I sampled a Boston Kreme doughnut, one of my historical favorites. One bite is all I could handle. It is tasteless, awful, fake, unpleasant. I do not think my tastes have changed this radically since I last had Dunkin' Donuts several years ago. Either the quality of the product has gone way down, or this particular location has an extreme challenges. Another note. The store had no energy when I walked in at 6:15 in the morning. Yes, it is a new store with new employees. It was desolate, devoid of any music, devoid of any energetic employees, sterile. There were also no other customers until I was leaving. There was no management around. The nice lady that helped me tried her best and did a thorough, good job. Glancing around, I could not find any napkins even before just exiting to my car. This shop will not survive. It just won't. I literally cannot eat anything I bought there, and the coffee I will drink until I can get a fresh cup of something good. Dunkin used to be good. I'm not sure what happened but they've gone downhill. Last Sunday, we did an order through Door Dash. The donuts were stale. Today, my spouse decides to go in person. Once again, they tried to give him stale donuts. This is at 7 am when everything should be fresh. He asks if there are any in the back. After a few minutes, a worker comes back with fresher donuts but not just made fresh. The worker takes the stale donuts out of the bag and puts them back on the tray. Hello? They're freaking stale! I come here everytime I'm in the area because it is the only dunkins around. Normally, I don't have an issue, but the last two times have put me off. The majority of the counter help are polite, but there are a few whom are rude to the other workers and customers. I came here during the power outage when they were extremely busy. Ordered food, coffee etc. The sandwiches were ice cold, but the croissant toasted, as though they didnt throw the egg etc in the micro long enough. No big deal, I understood that they were busy and stressed, so we ate them without complaints etc. During this, one of the kids behind the counter was raising his voice to the other workers..telling them how to do things etc. He also had done this the last time I was in. So, I think its pretty common. I started drinking one of my coffees and it tasted so watery that you could tell that someone had brewed it with used grounds. Once again, no big deal, someone forgot to change the grounds during the rush. Mistakes happen, but it was literally undrinkable. I went up to the counter explained that the coffee didn't taste right, that it was extremely watery and asked for a replacement. I wasn't nasty, (cause truly I understood how busy they were)I showed them my totally filled coffee ( I wasn't trying to get something for free). She calls the guy over who says , pretty nastily "do you even know what its suppossed to taste like? You did get 10 milk in it" I replied, " I'm from New England, so ya, I know what is supposed to taste like". The girl next to him says that they can rebrew me one , which I then explained thats all I wanted in the first place. Honestly what was the coffee? 50 cents? I had just spent over $30 on coffee, food and ground coffee, would I make something up for $3? If my Boston accent didn't give it away that "I know what it should taste like". Maybe my very specfic it tastes watery ( not milky) would give a clue.
