My favorite coffee shop. Before moving to Los Angeles I came here daily. There is truly no other coffee shop as good as here (I'm still searching 8 months later out here). Get an iced white chocolate mocha and thank me later. The iced drink size is a steal for the price and it just tastes delicious. I realized I always come here and have never actually reviewed it. The girls here are awesome my pups always get treats and get acknowledged. Their white mocha is my go to, it's always fresh, and they don't overdo it on the sweet. I also get the strawberry fields red bull which is also really good. Java Hut is a great Petaluma coffee spot! This little hut is so cute and has both a walk up window as well as a drive thru. Their service is always pretty fast and everyone is so friendly. The drive thru is so convenient and it is really one of the only drive thru coffee shops in Petaluma (if not the only?). Yesterday I got an iced version of one of their Spring Specials called the Getting Lucky Latte. If you are a vanilla latte connoisseur like myself, you will love it. It tastes like a sweet elevated version of a vanilla latte. I also got a hot oatmilk vanilla latte for my mom and she loved it as well! Overall great convenient and delicious coffee hut! read more

Love stopping by here when I'm in a hurry. Te food and drinks are good quality and the service is friendly & fast. The drive through is clean and everything is very organized. I'm usually in and out in 10 minutes or less. I got a strawberry delight, very similar to Dutch bro rebel drinks, but this was way better. Also got a mocha frappucino and pork sausage sandwich. I just stopped by to get a few iced lattes and right when I drove off one of them tipped over and spilled all over my floor. I went back to ask for napkins and not only did they give me the napkins, but one of the gals refilled the coffee while the other sprayed down the mat in my car for me. Coffee is good! The cold brew comes with ice. They have fun drinks but the sign is usually visible after taking the order, so I miss out every time. Note: they do ask if you want to leave a tip when scanning cards. It does make me uncomfortable, I'd rather have the device to make the decision without pressure. read more

Great coffee! The menu is extensive and creative. I have had the coconut vanilla latte and plain vanilla latte (iced) both are delicious. I'm only docking off ONE star because I don't like how they ask if you want to leave a tip instead of just giving you the pad to add a tip on our own; kinda feels forced when they ask. My tab always comes out to be an extra dollar more because of the forced tip, maybe management should consider this so it doesn't feel so force from the customers. The line is sometimes long, but on the times I've gone, the wait isn't bad at all. Each latte I've ever gotten has always been exactly what I've ordered & hot as well! The almond milk is always up to a great warm/hot temperature with a balanced flavor. Our kids loved the iced hot chocolate too. I've found the people that work there are incredibly nice. So, once I got down low on my drink I saw two hairs on the side of my cup. Didn't think anything of it, truly thought they were on the outside of the cup perhaps from the cupholder in our car. Once I kept drinking, I realized there were two hairs INSIDE of my drink. I poured part of my drink out onto a bowl and found 4 more small hairs in my one drink. I then went to check my husband's drink and his had 2 hairs as well! Tried calling the number online but it is disconnected. I know accidents happen, but the amount of hairs we found total was ridiculous to me! I'm posting to see if anyone had a similar experience today 1/26/23. These guys are great. It's a drive-thru or walk-up coffee shack and when you pull up it can be a bit disconcerting to see 10 cars ahead of you. But they work so quickly and efficiently that the line moves really quickly. They have fun creative special drinks as well as all your coffee favorites. I always come here for my coffee and double baked chocolate croissants and the service is always good but today 9/7/24 @ 10:25-10:29am the girl who took our order and checked us out said she couldn't warm up our double baked croissants because " they don't really do that anymore" and she said " we can't warm them up because the line is too long" I have NEVER been told that once. The line is always long because of course it's a good coffee shop but regardless of being busy she should have warmed them up. She even took our order ahead of time so she had so much time to warm them up and said she didn't want to. Any other worker there would have but she seemed new and if she was, she's already starting bad without satisfying clients wants in their orders. Love taking my young boys here for kiddie cocos and my daily latte treat . However I have noticed a gradual decline in weekday service and sometimes my latte isn't as warm as I would like. So this recently had become my go to coffee spot. Sadly, that stopped today. It was my SECOND time having been a daily customer for months having to drive back to ask them to remake my latte because it tasted like steamed milk with no hint of espresso or cinnamon. The girl then got all rude and grabbed the other lady to say I had done it a couple times which it had been my second. I even offered to pay an extra fee. As a nurse and a concerned member of this community, I appreciate how difficult and necessary it is for ALL of us to adhere to the required precautions businesses MUST maintain as required by state and county laws in order to stay open. If someone has a medical condition which precludes them from wearing a mask, maybe it would be safer for them to stay home and not to be out in public at this time, considering the real pandemic surge that is happening in Sonoma County?! First time coming here and I like it. What I really liked was how welcoming and friendly the staff was. There was someone ahead of me and one of the staff members cdme our and for my order. Literally was out in less then 5 minutes. The coffee is good and the breakfast sandwich was simple but good. I'm usually driving around town for work, and it's way easier to go through a drive through then to get off and have a sit down meal somewhere. Typically I make my breakfast and lunch but i was in a rush today. So having a place like this is pretty cool, I avoid fast food but can get a good breakfast for a decent price. I used to really enjoy this place, when it was ran by the original Java Hut girls. After new girls started coming in, nothing was the same. The drinks are always inconsistent. They rush and it shows. Sometimes the girls are friendly, other times they have a little attitude and just seem like they're in a bad mood. One day they say good morning, other times they just hand you the drink and you get a flat "thanks" They also don't enforce a dress code at this place. It's more of a skanky drive thru. The girls dress very inappropriately. Sometimes I see buttcheeks, other times lots of cleavage, or both..and their yoga pants...my goodness. Cover up! I think it's very unprofessional. I feel very uncomfortable brining my family here because I have three young girls that notice. Also my husband thinks it's very disturbing how the girls carry themselves. The prices went way up, and the drinks aren't even what you pay for. I ask for blended coffee and get watery coffee...I should have just asked for it over ice. I try giving this place many chances because Java Hut has been very dear to me but unfortunately today was my last straw. My drink was not good. Watery blended drink. I also hear the girls having personal conversations that shouldnt be talked about out loud at your work place. Also sometimes they're loud and immature. I wish the original girls came back, and these moody girls left. I never feel like they appreciate giving good customer service. I as a customer feel very like I don't matter. They just want to get you through the line and that's it. Hopefully they all read my post and make some changes because a couple of my friends also stopped going for similar reasons. Do they even have a manager??? If so..it doesn't show. The manager should be more professional and pay more attention to details on how these girls run the place..or maybe the manager should be changed. I will not be going back.
