Eggspreso is very yummy! I had been wanting to try it for some time now and finally got around to it. We came as a party of 4 and everyone got something different. Service was quick despite being busy on a Saturday morning. I opted for the chilaquiles without meat. They were very flavorful. The tortilla pieces weren't at all soggy and still had a slight crisp to them. The sauce was very flavorful. It came with avocado on the side which was nice. Everyone enjoyed their food. I tried some of my cousin's potatoes which were super delicious. I will get a side of them next time. Overall, food was pretty solid. Prices are okay. read more

Decided to check this out and it did not disappoint. We ordered the bacon, egg and cheese sandwich and the Petaluma sandwich. Both were really good. The brioche buns were fluffy and added a little sweetness to the sandwich. I do wish it was a little more toasted to add that satisfying crunch in every bite. The bacon, egg and cheese sandwich was solid. The bacon was super flavorful and had that smoky, savory taste that hits just right in the morning. I just wish it was a bit crispier since I like my bacon with that crunch factor. But overall, it was still really good and definitely hit the spot. The Petaluma sandwich was an awesome choice too. The egg was perfectly cooked soft, slightly runny, and not dry at all, just how I like it. The combination of flavors was balanced really well, and the fresh ingredients made a big difference. This is a very solid spot for breakfast/brunch. I ordered 2 things; The Petaluma - Soft, fluffy eggs sandwiched between two pillow like brioche buns. The cheese and sriracha mayo along with the caramelized onions added so much flavor and texture to the sandwich. The eggs were beyond soft and tasted like they were whipped. The Country Skillet- This would knock anyone out for the day because it is a heavy and big breakfast! Loaded with potatoes, sausage gravy, bacon, cheese, eggs, and onions, this thing is a behemoth plate of food. The gravy wasn't overwhelming in terms of saltiness. We were looking for a brunch place close by prior to hitting the outlets and decided on Eggspresso. With indoor and outdoor seating, it was a nice clean place. A little louder than I was expecting but not a huge issue. We were sat right away, and our waiter was prompt and friendly. We were excited to eat and ordered our entrees while sharing the French toast. My partner ordered bacon, ham, peppers, sausage into his omelette which he thoroughly enjoyed. I tasted a small bite and was pleased with how flavorful the meat was. My chorizo Benedict looked delightful and tasted great too. All the ingredients had a perfect serving size of jalapeño, chorizo, sauce, and avocado. It was flavorful! Though the English muffin was good (thicker than store bought ones) I enjoyed eating with the potatoes. I enjoyed this type of potatoes - cooked through and salted nicely. The French toast was a smidge dry, but I enjoyed the fruit with it and still kept going for a bite or two after I was full! There were quite a few large pick-up orders prepared while we were there which had us wait for our food a little longer, but I can understand wanting to indulge on their food. I got to visit on a Sunday afternoon and my sandwich did not disappoint! They are located in a huge shopping center so parking was easy. They have so much good stuff on the menu. I thought we were just going to grab a quick sandwhich and get back on the road but ended up i feel we should have just dined in. Super delicious food! The breakfast quesadilla is so good and is a very generous portion. Never had the breakfast sandwiches but have sampled a few other dishes and they've all been good. We were politely greeted at the door, and our server met up with us just seconds later..His name is Noah..What a very nice and efficient young man.. We asked if things could be ready to go, just in case we got called to "The Shop" earlier. Noah brought everything perfect just like I asked..He was friendly, quick and 100% listened to what we needed..The food is really good here! I'm stingy, I don't mind things costing if they're worth it, but I do not like being overcharged for what I'm getting, and this mostly wasn't good. We were promptly seated upon entering--so far, so good. But within ten minutes, it became painfully clear that something was off. Two Hispanic families arrived after us. They were immediately greeted, handed menus, offered drinks, and asked if they were ready to order--all within minutes of sitting down. Meanwhile, we sat completely ignored. No menus. No water. No silverware. Not a single word from any of the three staff members on the floor, all of whom walked by us multiple times and very clearly saw us. Even the kitchen staff glanced in our direction, fully aware of our presence--and our neglect. Eventually, I walked up to ask for a manager. Her first response? "Who was your waitress?" That question alone speaks volumes. We were never even acknowledged, let alone assigned a server. At that point, I informed her we would not be staying. We walked out.... So, Eggspresso--what exactly was the reason? Was it because my husband is Black? Because our children are mixed? Because I'm white? What box did we check that made your entire staff decide we weren't worth even the most basic customer service? There is absolutely no excuse for what happened. Your job is to hand a menu to every table and offer a drink. That's the bare minimum. And your staff couldn't be bothered. Holy Moses! Loved my experience at eggspresso this morning. Started of with some blood orange mimosas which were perfectly balanced. Not to sweet! Then for breakfast, we tried the veggie skillet and the chicken fried steak burrito. I was surprised to see that my dish wasn't actually served on a hot skillet, but rather a dish that was shaped like one. That didn't take away from the flavor at all, so I wasn't too disappointed, and the potatoes were cooked perfectly with a nice crisp to them. Now the burrito, that was out of this world! It was garnished with house made gravy, bacon and green onions. All the ingredients paired beautifully together and made for a tasty dish. I would definitely encourage anyone to give it a try. Wanted to show my mother a great quick breakfast spot I was shown awhile back. As I walked in, I noticed they have nicely changed the ambiance to more of a cafe vibe with golden booths and tables. Prior to this visit, Eggspresso had bar stools givin' off the feeling of eat & go. We were greeted by an extremely kind and pleasant hostess. She explained that they've expanded their menus and even had pictures of their special which was Chilaquiles with your choice of steak or some other kind of meat. (Sorry, forgot what she was saying cause I knew I wasn't going to order it. ) Overall picture had me thinking twice about what I wanted, but I knew I wanted to try the Chicken Fried Steak and eggs breakfast burrito. First and definitely not my last time I'll be having it again. My burrito was smothered with gravy, made my my wata'. We came in early and by the end of our time, there were decent lines waiting. Service was friendly, helped with any questions we had. Water refills and check ins were frequent despite how busy it was. My partner got the chilaquiles, and I ordered the caprese benedict. Everything was pretty good flavorwise. The red sauce on the chilaquiles had a good richness to it. I liked the texture differences for the dish. The benedict was good though I wanted more of the veggies. The hollandaise had a good tartness to it which added well but it would've been nice to have more of it. All in all, it was good to check out and expand on our options for brunch. read more

It was such a nice day to sit on the patio (those trees are growing up) with our doggo. The kind waiter even offered her a water bowl. Very nice ambiance and kind effective staff. Now food. Way surpassed expectations my spicy toast came with a really nice unmentioned green salad, we all know how much I love my veggies. The whole grain toast w avo and tomato lots of fresh jalapeños and a poached egg just called me to request they add hollandaise. Very good call. So many slices of jalapeño my husband put some w his smoked salmon Benedict. I loved it but if those red onions were pickled I'd have freaked out a bit. This was once our "go to" place but we had to stop coming here due to really rude (consistent) service. Well, we gave it another chance. It seems the rude server has either left, fired, or we were lucky enough to come in on her day off. There are several good food breakfast places to choose from in Petaluma so service sets them apart in my opinion. Eggspresso seems to have listened to the reviews about service as it's improved. They deserve recognition for that. The food - a bit expensive for what you get, but they have a couple of excellent tasty dishes. My fave - their potatoes. I choose their potatoes as a side and so does everyone who is in my circle. Having looked at the menu prior, I already knew what I wanted-avocado toast. I added a half order of bacon on the fly. All was satisfactory. The bacon wasn't as crispy as I would like. The toast came with an arugula salad, which I enjoyed. The toast was okay. It wasn't as flavorful, but sufficient. The server was helpful and nice. I am picky with mines and try to ovoid buying since i always regret spending money on something that's not great. But not this place.
