One of the best cups of coffee in Petaluma! Great service, and Mark always makes sure you're happy with your coffee!

As a new(er) employee at PVH, I was excited to learn we had our very own resident coffee shop.

I got the prosciutto, fig and jam puff pastry. So yummy and the crunch on the layers were definitely on point. I also grabbed me a chocolate chip cookie which is huge and probably the same size as my face. And of course my sweet tooth wouldn't let me walk away from the register without grabbing a brownie. Took my girlfriends here for some pregame breakfast bites before one of our tournaments and they loved everything they got. So many things to choose from, you'll probably leave with a box. But trust me when I say, I don't think you can wrong here. Clearly it's a popular go to spot you gotta come check them out early!

Strawberry maritozzi: Of all of the pastries this was actually my last favorite. I felt like the bread was a bit dry and flavorless. The cream was good however and not too sweet like your typical American dessert. I think if they could some how use a different type of bun that isn't as dry, this would be amazing. 2. Caprese Sandwich (wrap): This was incredible. I really liked this sandwich. It was so flavorful and the balance of the pesto and chicken was amazing. Highly recommend. Very large and filling too. 3. Mushroom focaccia: Loved this! Focaccia was fluffy and a very generous amount of mushrooms on top. 4. Passion Fruit pasty: I LOVED this! It reminds me of being in hawaii again and reminded me of the malasalas there however in a pastry dough form. 5. Chocolate pistachio croissant: High quality pasty very fluffy and light with huge amount of chocolate. Overall, I felt like the savory items were incredible and overshadowed the sweet items. The sweet were still good though. Everything was high quality and fairly priced. Only item that I wouldn't get again is the Maritozzi.

They make good pastries here and they are very serious about making great coffee. The service is very good and it's a great place to sit and work on your laptop. On my most recent visit, I tried their specialty hot latte which was called the Worker Bee Latte. It had bee pollen and honey, of course, plus a touch of mint. I enjoyed it, although it tasted almost like a healthy drink because of the bee pollen! I typically enjoy their gluten free pumpkin muffin, which is delicious! This location of avid doesn't have as many food options as their Santa Rosa location, but it's all still very good. They have some fun merchandise here, and my wife bought one of their t-shirts the other day.

Quality of the lattes was mid. Just tasted like steamed milk. The barista kept pouring out milk and espresso after steaming and brewing it for some reason, so maybe the machine wasn't working right? Hot chocolates for the kids were well received. They use a liquid chocolate base with steamed milk on top.

Seriously, you might think pie is pie, but no, there's pie, and then there's pie from Petaluma Pie Company. Friendly employee and clean area outside the shop is well. So that's good. My only complaint is the eco-friendly fork they provide is absolutely awful. Not sure if it's a Petaluma requirement but real plastic forks would be much appreciated. Regardless, this place is a must-try!

I Spy With My Little Pie…read more This farm-to-table, locally-owned pie shop has been serving up both sweet and savory pie creations in Downtown Petaluma since 2010. They recently underwent an ownership change in 2024 from the OGs, but fortunately, instead of selling to a corporation, they sold it to an employee and his mother to help ensure the original ethos and quality remain intact. The Good: * Their pies are made with locally-sourced and organic ingredients bought from the local farmers market--as well as some fruit that they grow themselves! * Outdoor dog-friendly seating * As mentioned above, they have both sweet and savory pies. We only tried the sweet *oink oink* * Friendly service * Love that they have both full sized pies and smaller ones, so you don't have to commit to a big ol' pie. * We tried their Elvis (PB, banana, and chocolate) and their Black & Blue Crumble and they were both fabulous! I leaned a bit more to the B&B, as I absolutely adored that granola crumble on top, but the Elvis was no slouch either. The Meh: * Interior is small and very cramped. Definitely a grab-and-go type operation. The Ugly: * Parking in DT Petaluma can be a hassle, as it's street parking only, but at least it's free. Conclusion: Fantastic spot to scratch that 3.14 itch--and I'm always itchy!

They also offer fresh salads, so there's something for everyone. I ordered the salmon toast, and it was absolutely delicious. My friend got the three-toast sampler. The bean toast was definitely the most interesting one, but it actually tasted pretty good! The service was wonderful. Our server asked about our plans for the day, and we told her my friend had a bridal appointment next door to try on wedding dresses. Later, after both brunch and the bridal appointment, we happened to run into her again. She remembered us and even asked my friend if she had found any dresses she liked. The décor is beautiful, warm, and inviting. They also have a bakery if you're just looking to grab something quick to go. The only downside is that it's a bit on the pricey side, but for a special occasion or a nice brunch outing, I think it's worth it. I'd definitely come back! P.S interesting note, they serve their late drinks on a bowl not a cup
