Aqus Cafe is located at the Foundry Wharf, just a short walk from downtown Petaluma. It's a cozy, casual, artsy cafe offering an extensive menu of sandwiches, salads, coffees, and more! And they offer free wifi. The vibe is local and community-focused with live music and other fun events. Aqus was hopping on a recent rainy weekday when we stopped in for a working lunch - there was a local writing group taking up the big table in the center (very cool!), and lots of other folks filling the inside tables. I may choose a quieter spot for getting work done in the future, but I'd definitely return for music and events. We tried the chicken pesto panini, which came with a side salad. The sandwich was substantial and tasty, and the greens were fresh. You order and pay at the counter, get a number and your food will be delivered to your table. They also have a handful of tables outside, which would be delightful on a non-rainy day.

The Veggie Friday Panini was outstanding and so delicious! The sauce was so delicious that I could not taste any graininess in the goat cheese! I loved the portobello mushrooms and goat cheese!

Great vibes, friendly staff, and good coffee! I've been loving Aqus lately as a spot to get work done. It can get pretty busy (and a bit noisy inside), but there are plenty of outdoor tables too. They also host fun writing groups, live music, and other community events. The menu has a ton of options, which can be a little overwhelming at first but totally worth exploring. If you haven't stopped by yet, you're missing out!

Aqus is one of the best cafes in Petaluma, if not the best. The service is quick and friendly, and the food and drinks are great! There is ample indoor seating, and the inside has a warm cozy vibe. Aqus is a great third space for meeting with friends, or getting some work done! The menu has lots of options from small bites to full meals. It was a nice day out today so I decided to go with an iced caramel latte. It wasn't too sweet or milky, which I loved. I also love when cafes give out reusable glass cups and plates to use within the restaurant instead of plastic. Overall I would definitely recommend!

Made a pit stop here, and we were pleasantly surprised by how good it was! We loved the aqus flat bread. We also got the aqus flatbread, Mediterranean flatbread, salmon nicoise salad, and smoked chicken flatbread. The aqus was my favorite. I thought it might be too rich, but the duck and gorgonzola were well balanced, and the duck was juicy. The menu was really well priced, which was unexpected considering all the fresh ingredients.

Aquus cafe is a go to, cozy, laid-back community -centric Café just south downtown near the riverfront. The ambience is eclectic, laid-back California BoHo local. There are about 8-9 tables inside and approx 6 tables outside on a wraparound front facing porch. Walk in, scan the wide menu selection and place your order. You'll get a flag stem with a number on it which will put on your table tell the server find you when your food is ready. The trout salad and raisin nut salad are our favorite! Drinks include beer,,wine and port from Sonoma Portworks, just around the block. This café has numerous community events in the evenings and mornings.

Love the Aquas cafe. It was great to sit outside after all of the rain. This time the eggs were cooked hard and the apple turkey sausage not so good. But the later was great, the location was good and the company was good. I like the relaxed comfortable setting. It's a real scenes of community.

Really enjoy this one! ** strawberry and cream chiffon cake slice (3.5/5): didn't really feel like a chiffon cake or maybe it was on the drier side. It worked well with the mascarpone frosting though, which was smooth and a little too rich for me by itself. There wasn't too much strawberry besides the sweet jam layer in the middle. ** Brutta mi buoni (4/5): translated to "ugly but delicious," this craggly meringue actually caught my eye and curiosity for its looks. I'm usually not a fan of meringues, but this one was loaded with nuts and was tasty. Kind of tastes like a refined version of those Lucky Charms cereal marshallows in a good way! Happy with my little haul at Stellina Pronto! They were friendly and had a few window seats + outdoor seating. I'll probably stop by next time I'm in the area to try some new items. You really can't beat the quality of the ingredients here- I have yet to have something from the pastry case, the breads, the warm foods or drinks that I didn't enjoy. Every visit I have had here has been delightful, and I always marvel at the consistent quality of the foods. On my birthday for example this past month, my husband took me here for a breakfast celebration, and then my dad took us there again the same day for lunch. Does that sound like a problem? Not at all! I was delighted. During the Christmas time, they even had a pianist playing live music during the dining time with all their trees and lights and decor- it was truly magical. Usually when I visit, I go straight for whatever they have in their tart offerings. My current favorite is the pistachio tart, but their passionfruit tart is equally incredible. Their set lunch with their soup, sandwich, latte and pastry is such a delicious good deal, you will love it. Prices are absolutely on point for the consistency and quality, as well as the gorgeous presentation. Yes, you're going to be paying more than if you were at, say, Starbucks... but the high quality of these ingredients are worth it every time. I just can't recommend it highly enough. Sarmentine is definitely one of the best gems of South county, hands down...maybe even in the whole county!
