This location doesn't like to service Black people. I came in only one person in line. After that I ordered my 2 bag jasmine tea but instead of making my order the staff took and made multiple other drinks instead of making my tea. I ordered and 15 minutes later they still did not make it but when I requested a refund then they wanted to make it all of a sudden but I said not and I just ask for refund and left I don't know it I will ever go to Peet's again in this city... if you're black don't go here

    Coffee break.

The bean aficionado Peets coffee is perfect for the coffee aficionado. Peet's coffee is socially and ecologically conscious and really delivers delicious products. The staff is service minded, and the coffee is overall strong, bold, and satisfying. My order: Bacon, Spinach & Swiss Frittata and medium roast coffee.

Peets is one of the better coffee franchises out there and I love their coffee. For this visit, I tried their matcha green tea latte. The tea flavor was rather weak and I didn't quite enjoy it so much. There was a very subtle hint of matcha flavor. I will stick to coffee at Peets and not order this drink again. This not so great experience doesn't take away from the high quality coffee Peets has to offer.

This Peet's is in the middle of downtown Petaluma - loved the location. I ordered an iced matcha latte but the taste was not very overwhelming. It was bland in taste and pretty weak - just a little hint of matcha. Won't order matcha next time!

Big open view. Cappuccino. Btw WiFi is wrest here.

Came here for a study area and of course Peet's Coffee. It's a lot quieter than Acre, which was my first boujie / hipster coffee shop to look productive with my Baesic apple electronics (AirPods on don't bug me, just like at a gym). Barista a lot more genuine than most coffee shops. Very informative. Seating area Comfortable and place was clean and tidy.

Messy, disorganized, and slow. These are three words you don't want to use to describe your coffee shop. Service was reasonably friendly. But the counter area was a disaster. Open containers of coffee lying about. Boxes everywhere.

I love this place and coffee, especially french roast. Peet's Coffee in downtown Petaluma is a rare gem. The atmosphere is friendly, the staff is very helpful, and of course the coffee is excellent. I never pass on an opportunity stop at Peet's in my morning routine. Last week I stopped in and had some poppyseed muffins with my latte and they were possibly the best pastry ever tasted. The girl behind the counter said they were baked fresh that morning. Nobody else in town can comPEET with Peet's on the boulevard!

    Very spacious place

They have specialty shelf stable chocolate and snacks and a display full of beautiful desserts! ** pistachio cream puff (4.5/5): unlike the more traditional choux shell, this one was laminated like croissant dough-- fun! The cream was also thick enough to not leak everywhere and didn't taste artificial. Really enjoy this one! ** strawberry and cream chiffon cake slice (3.5/5): didn't really feel like a chiffon cake or maybe it was on the drier side. It worked well with the mascarpone frosting though, which was smooth and a little too rich for me by itself. There wasn't too much strawberry besides the sweet jam layer in the middle. ** Brutta mi buoni (4/5): translated to "ugly but delicious," this craggly meringue actually caught my eye and curiosity for its looks. I'm usually not a fan of meringues, but this one was loaded with nuts and was tasty. Kind of tastes like a refined version of those Lucky Charms cereal marshallows in a good way! Happy with my little haul at Stellina Pronto! They were friendly and had a few window seats + outdoor seating. I'll probably stop by next time I'm in the area to try some new items. Definitely check them out if you're nearby!

You really can't beat the quality of the ingredients here- I have yet to have something from the pastry case, the breads, the warm foods or drinks that I didn't enjoy. Every visit I have had here has been delightful, and I always marvel at the consistent quality of the foods. On my birthday for example this past month, my husband took me here for a breakfast celebration, and then my dad took us there again the same day for lunch. Does that sound like a problem? Not at all! I was delighted. During the Christmas time, they even had a pianist playing live music during the dining time with all their trees and lights and decor- it was truly magical. Usually when I visit, I go straight for whatever they have in their tart offerings. My current favorite is the pistachio tart, but their passionfruit tart is equally incredible. Their set lunch with their soup, sandwich, latte and pastry is such a delicious good deal, you will love it. Prices are absolutely on point for the consistency and quality, as well as the gorgeous presentation. Yes, you're going to be paying more than if you were at, say, Starbucks... but the high quality of these ingredients are worth it every time. I just can't recommend it highly enough. Sarmentine is definitely one of the best gems of South county, hands down...maybe even in the whole county!

They recently underwent an ownership change in 2024 from the OGs, but fortunately, instead of selling to a corporation, they sold it to an employee and his mother to help ensure the original ethos and quality remain intact. The Good: * Their pies are made with locally-sourced and organic ingredients bought from the local farmers market--as well as some fruit that they grow themselves! * Outdoor dog-friendly seating * As mentioned above, they have both sweet and savory pies. We only tried the sweet *oink oink* * Friendly service * Love that they have both full sized pies and smaller ones, so you don't have to commit to a big ol' pie. * We tried their Elvis (PB, banana, and chocolate) and their Black & Blue Crumble and they were both fabulous! I leaned a bit more to the B&B, as I absolutely adored that granola crumble on top, but the Elvis was no slouch either. The Meh: * Interior is small and very cramped. Definitely a grab-and-go type operation. The Ugly: * Parking in DT Petaluma can be a hassle, as it's street parking only, but at least it's free. Conclusion: Fantastic spot to scratch that 3.14 itch--and I'm always itchy!
