Meh. Feels like I'm at the airport with all its travel stresses instead of mellowly awaiting a tire rotation. I usually avoid this place at all costs because. . . Even the cream cheese "spread" is that impersonal and cold. No real comfort here. The staff is friendly and efficient and their is finally an alternative to the hormone disrupter soy milk and watery almond milk! Yay coconut milk! The bagel is so 3/10. Coffees fine though it always makes me sad to see their usual crowd without their own cups. Ugh no more single use crap. How many Starbucks plastic cups are in the garbage patch I wonder. Oh yeah and the tables are always dirty just like the airport

I've been going to Starbucks for years and by far this was by far the best tasting drink and the staff was super friendly!

My coffee took 20 minutes to make. They messed up all the orders ahead of me and it was a mess. I will not be returning to this Starbucks.

SO many croissant, muffins, bread, cake, and other pastries to choose from. They have specialty shelf stable chocolate and snacks and a display full of beautiful desserts! ** pistachio cream puff (4.5/5): unlike the more traditional choux shell, this one was laminated like croissant dough-- fun! The cream was also thick enough to not leak everywhere and didn't taste artificial. Really enjoy this one! ** strawberry and cream chiffon cake slice (3.5/5): didn't really feel like a chiffon cake or maybe it was on the drier side. It worked well with the mascarpone frosting though, which was smooth and a little too rich for me by itself. There wasn't too much strawberry besides the sweet jam layer in the middle. ** Brutta mi buoni (4/5): translated to "ugly but delicious," this craggly meringue actually caught my eye and curiosity for its looks. I'm usually not a fan of meringues, but this one was loaded with nuts and was tasty. Kind of tastes like a refined version of those Lucky Charms cereal marshallows in a good way! Happy with my little haul at Stellina Pronto! They were friendly and had a few window seats + outdoor seating. I'll probably stop by next time I'm in the area to try some new items. Definitely check them out if you're nearby!

They make good pastries here and they are very serious about making great coffee. The service is very good and it's a great place to sit and work on your laptop. On my most recent visit, I tried their specialty hot latte which was called the Worker Bee Latte. It had bee pollen and honey, of course, plus a touch of mint. I enjoyed it, although it tasted almost like a healthy drink because of the bee pollen! I typically enjoy their gluten free pumpkin muffin, which is delicious! This location of avid doesn't have as many food options as their Santa Rosa location, but it's all still very good. They have some fun merchandise here, and my wife bought one of their t-shirts the other day.

Quality of the lattes was mid. Just tasted like steamed milk. The barista kept pouring out milk and espresso after steaming and brewing it for some reason, so maybe the machine wasn't working right? Seriously, you might think pie is pie, but no, there's pie, and then there's pie from Petaluma Pie Company. Friendly employee and clean area outside the shop is well. So that's good. My only complaint is the eco-friendly fork they provide is absolutely awful. Not sure if it's a Petaluma requirement but real plastic forks would be much appreciated. Regardless, this place is a must-try!

I Spy With My Little Pie…read more This farm-to-table, locally-owned pie shop has been serving up both sweet and savory pie creations in Downtown Petaluma since 2010. They recently underwent an ownership change in 2024 from the OGs, but fortunately, instead of selling to a corporation, they sold it to an employee and his mother to help ensure the original ethos and quality remain intact. The Good: * Their pies are made with locally-sourced and organic ingredients bought from the local farmers market--as well as some fruit that they grow themselves! * Outdoor dog-friendly seating * As mentioned above, they have both sweet and savory pies. We only tried the sweet *oink oink* * Friendly service * Love that they have both full sized pies and smaller ones, so you don't have to commit to a big ol' pie. * We tried their Elvis (PB, banana, and chocolate) and their Black & Blue Crumble and they were both fabulous! I leaned a bit more to the B&B, as I absolutely adored that granola crumble on top, but the Elvis was no slouch either. The Meh: * Interior is small and very cramped. Definitely a grab-and-go type operation. The Ugly: * Parking in DT Petaluma can be a hassle, as it's street parking only, but at least it's free. Conclusion: Fantastic spot to scratch that 3.14 itch--and I'm always itchy!

The drip coffee has not been bad in my experience, and I've enjoyed and tolerated my espresso drinks as well. Cons - The prices. There is not justification for me to visit the Pink Owl daily or even weekly, because of the prices. I live in the vicinity of Pink Owl and have not visited it more than 30 times in two years because of the prices. I know Petaluma wants to pay their employees high wages and be progressive and what not and an undisclosed amount of $$ go to cancer research, and that's great, but who ends up having to fork out more money to fund this? EVEN with the occasional $2 off, $5 off rewards, it is cheaper to go elsewhere. "You've earned a reward" is a message not worth looking forward to, because you still end up having to shill out more money than expected. What's the point of $5 off if I still have to pay an additional $4 for a large cup of hot milk and a dash of espresso in the guise of a latte? Pink Owl is not quality enough for the prices. Petaluma has great quality coffee and Espresso in abundance. It sucks because it's a cute shop that I would enjoy if it wasn't for that slight little hiccup. On that note, I don't know a single Petaluma local that raves about Pink Owl or religiously visits them or even talks about them. I can say they do rave about other coffee shops though. I'll drop by when I win the lottery.
