    Cronut with cream

Nice open shop. When came in the woman at the counter was very friendly and interacted with my toddler on which donut he wanted to pick. A lot of good choices but we went with the sprinkle donut and the Cronut. I actually really liked the Cronut and was surprised by the cream in it, it was really good . Over all we loved our donuts but with 1 donut and 1 Cronut and a small coffee came out to $13.00 so a little to pricey to become a regular.

Holiday flavors released today! 1) Santa's helper - a Caramel brûlée topped doughnut with maple bourbon custard filling & 2) Chocolate peppermint candy crunch - a chocolate old fashioned infused with peppermint, chocolate glaze and crushed peppermint candy. Both were delicious, but my favorite was Santa's helper because of its uniqueness. Great seasonal adds to their standard lineup. Service is always friendly and the place is kept clean. A regular stop for my family.

Doughnuts were great. Sliced open and was let down by the filling but was pleasantly surprised when eating the willed doughnut. It was flavorful much fresher than the usual filling and added enough moisture. The cronut was my favorite of the three it was really tasty and the custard was a nice surprise that was also higher quality than most doughnut shops. The strawberry glazed was my least favorite doughnut. It was to dense with a glazed doughnut I want it to be airy and light. This was not the case. It was closer to a cake doughnut but with a more gummy crumb. Wife had a coffee and she is very much a coffee snob but said they have good coffee. For reference she's a fan of medium/ light roast coffee so if you're a fan of dark roast it might not be your cup of tea. The cashier was sweet and corky and very attentive. Great doughnuts but will probably stay away from the glazed in the future.

    Chunky, curdled cream-not tasty

Really surprised how average these turned out to be. Stand out was the maple old fashioned-had good spicy flavor and good texture. I got the brown butter and strawberry raised donuts as well-crumb was good on both, frostings were very sweet, but the big disappointment was the bismark-the cream inside was chunky and curdled. Couldn't eat it at all so it was a waste.

Dine-in doughnuts! The one with confection sugar is their dulce de leche.

I love it and the only donut I found that doesn't have that nasty fake sugar taste in the frostings.

The best doughnuts you'll eve see, feel and taste. These doughnuts, although expensive, at around $4.50 per doughnut, it is worth it!

The acovado toast could use some more pizzaz... its literally just avocado and seasoning and the creme brulee latte was a bit bland under the torched sweetness on top. I ordered the blueberry scone (so delicious, def a new FAV) and it's from Costex bakery in Healdsburg. I ordered a cappuccino, I received a latte. Little disappointing, but I didn't complain, it was definitely a good latte. I was looking forward to a nice foamy cappuccino. No biggie. I definitely recommend anyone to check them out. Especially if you're hungry.

It's got bar seating too! There's also some board games if you want something to play with friends over drinks. Ordered a 12oz matcha latte with almond milk ($7) and opted to have it unsweetened. Overall smooth but not too strong, and a tiny bit sweet probably from whatever almond milk they use! I like mine a bit stronger and it's not the best I've had but decent! "For here" mugs are always a plus in my book too. Brew is unique that it doubles as a cozy bar too once the late afternoon rolls around. They've got interesting events happening throughout the month posted on their sign. Some of their food and pastries are sourced from local Red Bird Bakery and Village Bakery too if you're hungry! Parking might suck, you could find street parking maybe on 8th St or if you're early you could park by the meters for free before 9AM. There's a $1/hr parking garage right nearby but if there's nothing, best to park at SR Plaza for free and make the 5min walk over. I really like the vibes of Brew and wanna come back for a happy hour one day! It's nice to see a very queer friendly cafe/bar rolled into one!

They are very forward about their fierce advocacy for LGBTQ+ rights with rainbow flags everywhere. I am here for it! Let's talk about the food and drinks! First, I come here semi-regularly and I am a huge fan of their breakfast burrito and breakfast sandwich! My other favorite food item is not on their regular menu anymore, but I LOVE when they do their baked oatmeal. Their coffee is great here, which is from Ritual Roaster in San Francisco. If you come here in the Fall, their seasonal Pumpkin Latte is my favorite Pumpkin Spice latte in the area. So good! They also have a great selection of locally brewed beers, but I've never actually come here at any other time besides morning. They host lots of fun events and have live music and trivia nights. A true, community establishment! The service is friendly. They know their regulars and they are knowledgeable about their food and drinks. I like the inside cafe, but I almost always sit outside in their large, parklet. This parklet was established during Covid times, and for awhile it was taken down, but thankfully it's back! If you haven't checked out Brew then you definitely should! Come and support them and their progressive causes!
