My Cajeta latte was amazing! Not too sweet and plenty of espresso. Just walking into the store you get a sweet smell of baked goods. The chocolate matcha donut I chose paired perfectly with my latte choice. Happy to have a new local coffee shop here in Cotati. The owner was very welcoming giving me the break down of all the baked goods she offers.

Really cute coffee shop in town! We went around 11:15am on a Friday, so it was pretty quiet. They had some specialty drinks so we decided to give them a try. We ordered: - an iced desert sage: it's what they described as their take on an iced vanilla latte, with sage infused sugar. I loved it! Well balanced with just a hint of sage thy I could taste. - wildflower (iced): this is just like a chai tea, with infused lavender sugar. There is no coffee in the drink itself except for the HUGE espresso ice cube. I felt like the ice cube took up a lot of space, and my hubby finished his drink before the cube melted. He did like the drink though. *both drinks were topped with a biscuit type cookie, it was a Great touch! Last, we got the orange blossom almond cake. We loved it! Very almondy and it was soft, not dense.

I'm posting an update to my previous review. I posted my review recently, on an older visit from June/July. I did go earlier in the day, directly after the gym, around 10:30. There were plenty of options to choose from in the case. I ordered a blueberry muffin and a cookie, along with the Wildflower drink from the winter menu. It was a spicy chai with lavender and espresso (because I ordered it hot) It was very good, the lavender didn't register as much as I expected. As I mentioned before the ambience is lovely, and curated beautifully. A sweet cafe for gluten free and non gluten free people, alike. The cookie was a fan favorite.

I recently visited a delightful new coffee shop in town in Cotati that exudes a cozy, family-owned vibe. The charming interiors create an inviting atmosphere, perfect for sipping coffee and relaxing. The benches in the interiors were cute with pillows allowing for a comfortable seat. I decided to try two of their signature coffee: Desert Sage and Cajeta. Unfortunately, I found myself a bit underwhelmed by the flavors. While the Desert Sage had a bold profile, it was a touch too intense for my taste, overshadowing the subtleties I was hoping to enjoy. The Cajeta, on the other hand, didn't quite deliver the unique experience I anticipated--it felt somewhat bland. I expected the Cajeta to have more caramel or cinnamon taste. But if you like subtle taste, this might be for you. They also offered a selection of gluten-free pastries, including cookies, donuts, and breads. However, they didn't appeal to me, so I opted to skip them this time around. Things I tried: Desert Sage (specialty coffee) White sage infused sugar, vanilla bean, espresso, whole milk *iced* (3.75/5) Cajeta (specialty coffee) Mexican caramel, cinnamon, espresso, whole milk *iced* (3/5) Overall, I think I'll stick to their regular coffee options on my next visit. While the atmosphere is lovely and the service was great, not sure if I will get the specialty drinks again

this is a small bakery right near the Plaza park in Cotati. All their pastries are gluten-free, which is nice to know because I have a daughter in law that is allergic to wheat so I decided to try this place. The inside is very small, but pleasant. They also serve coffee drinks. I got the very bread pudding, which is very good. I was surprised cause I'm not usually fond of gluten-free type of foods unless they're done right. They gave me a small cookie which is also very good. I got the chai tea they will serve it with either oat milk, almond milk or whole milk. They use honey for sweetener. It was very good. I liked it. The staff was friendly

I had a customer service issue years ago and met some rude staff, so I hadn't been back in a long time. Because I haven't been back, I am not very familiar with their menu. There was no one behind me in line, so I was able to take my time, and the staff member helping me was kind and very patient with recommendations. He asked whether I wanted caffeine or not and helped narrow down my choices, which made it much easier to decide. The place was clean. There were quite a few customers, but the line moved smoothly and didn't get backed up at the register. I ordered the strawberry smoothie (a strawberry-banana protein drink) and the cheese sausage sliders. The smoothie was good, but I wish it had more strawberry and banana flavor. it tasted a bit too milky for my preference. The sandwich, however, was really good. I actually enjoyed that a lot. Overall, this visit was a much better experience than my last one.

I ordered an iced matcha latte and it was delicious. I also asked for light ice and although he made a joke about having dark ice, I still got less ice as I requested. I appreciated that. While I was waiting for others to get their items, I noticed there was plenty of seating indoors and out. There are two single bathrooms available and the store was clean. I would definitely return to this store again.

But mainly, I come here for the ice cream and the fun Bigfoot theming. I love places with good theming and places that serve the community. Squatches does a lot. To our surprise, there weren't many options open at this time of day... but we did find Squatch's Ice Cream & Coffee. The place is tucked away in a small strip mall. The interior gives off an outdoorsy feel with wood on the wall, wood as tables, actual wood stump as stools. The walls also had a painted mountain range silhouette along with posters and maps about Bigfoot and its sightings. On the floor, there are Sasquatch/Bigfoot prints that lead to the ordering line. This is where the workers were helpful in explaining the menu where they pointed out their seasonal drinks, ice cream, cinnamon rolls and more. Once they pointed out their cookies... we were hooked (1 cookie for $1, 6 for $5, 12 for $12).. we got a variety of 6 cookies. They were soft, sweet, with a nice chew to them. They had one of the largest assortment of flavored syrups I have seen. Even carrying top brands: Torani, Da Vinci, and Monin. I chose the Peppermint Hot Chocolate (probably could use more chocolate) and a seasonal special Iced Graham cracker latte. (sugary and sweet like teddy grams in a Carmel macchiato) With the a nice menu full of flavors and numerous possible combinations of drinks and desserts (ex:cinnamon roll ice cream sandwiches) I would definitely come back to treat my sweet tooth or caffeine fix. I also recommend taking a look at their cool Squatch Merch while you are there!

The flavor of the curry sauce was addictive. It wasn't spicy, just super flavorful. I ate way more than I I could handle, but that's because it was so insanely good. I had to pick someone up in the shopping center, i was hungry, and i had seen this place advertised…read moresomewhere. It sounded good...smoking bowls. It was late, i guess 45 min before closing. Looking at the menu it all looked great, creative etc. i asked the server shot the food and he said oh everything is made from scratch., etc. we're got two bowls, the dragon bowl and the roast beef bowl to go. We got them home and opened them up. The roast beef bowl was described as being served over a bed of home made mashed potatoes topped with home made gravy and special horseradish sauce. Tasting it, it was a way too salty and the meat was so mushy it blended way too seamlessly with the brown gravy to my taste, ie it was all a mush of sauce over more mushy mashed potato! But i preferred its flavor over the dragon bowl, but definitely did not taste like a home made beef gravy from scratch, it was on the overly thickened by corn starch side, with that fake bouillon taste. Dragon Bowl looks good, topped with crunchy cashews that had slight rancid taste, and fresh green onion. And sadly, the chunks of chicken in it were hard, ie tough, precooked for who-knows-how-long-tasting; old tasting. And the sauce was way too sweet. I was disappointed with the $35 bill. We took the food to go. Once we tasted it at home we basically threw it all in the garbage. What a waste but, yuck. Sorry! Ambiance: The place was empty of patrons, and felt like it was closing now even though they still have 45 min. Our two bowls were ordered were handed to us super fast after ordering, like it took no time to prepare, explaining the poor flavor and quality we experienced, plus look at what others have written about all this premade fast food. I want to give one star, but I'll give 2, in benefit of the doubt they were trying to close early and rushed things vs if it were earlier in evening with more clientele.
