The flavor of the curry sauce was addictive. It wasn't spicy, just super flavorful. I ate way more than I I could handle, but that's because it was so insanely good. The vegetables were all cooked properly, to a soft comforting chew, and the rice pulled everything together. 11/10 would highly recommend! My only concern was that I would love to see a vegan option for something with french fries. Other than that this place was a nice gem. The guy working the counter was very friendly and has a vibe that could put anyone in a good mood.

It was late, i guess 45 min before closing. Looking at the menu it all looked great, creative etc. i asked the server shot the food and he said oh everything is made from scratch., etc. we're got two bowls, the dragon bowl and the roast beef bowl to go. We got them home and opened them up. The roast beef bowl was described as being served over a bed of home made mashed potatoes topped with home made gravy and special horseradish sauce. Tasting it, it was a way too salty and the meat was so mushy it blended way too seamlessly with the brown gravy to my taste, ie it was all a mush of sauce over more mushy mashed potato! But i preferred its flavor over the dragon bowl, but definitely did not taste like a home made beef gravy from scratch, it was on the overly thickened by corn starch side, with that fake bouillon taste. Dragon Bowl looks good, topped with crunchy cashews that had slight rancid taste, and fresh green onion. And sadly, the chunks of chicken in it were hard, ie tough, precooked for who-knows-how-long-tasting; old tasting. And the sauce was way too sweet. I was disappointed with the $35 bill. We took the food to go. Once we tasted it at home we basically threw it all in the garbage. What a waste but, yuck. Sorry! Ambiance: The place was empty of patrons, and felt like it was closing now even though they still have 45 min. Our two bowls were ordered were handed to us super fast after ordering, like it took no time to prepare, explaining the poor flavor and quality we experienced, plus look at what others have written about all this premade fast food. I want to give one star, but I'll give 2, in benefit of the doubt they were trying to close early and rushed things vs if it were earlier in evening with more clientele.

I placed an order last week, it arrived on time which was appreciated but the bread itself is dry and crumbly and without flavor. Not even close to the Grindstone bread of yore. They no longer offer 100% quinoa bread, so I ordered banana walnut bread and three grain bread. The banana walnut bread contains such a small amount of banana that I literally couldn't taste it. The three grain bread was flavorless and it crumbled and fell apart as I was trying to slice it. I don't like leaving negative reviews, but this was a lot of money for me and I don't want anyone else to order this bread thinking they're getting the same wonderful Grindstone product as they got under the original ownership.

See: https://www.westonaprice.org/health-topics/vegetarianism-and-plant-foods/living-with-phytic-acid/#gsc.tab=0 There is no other product like this in the USA. I had a reserve in the freezer and today I had one of my last gluten free slices of the Quinoa bread lathered with cream cheese made from almonds. Heavenly. Now, I don't expect Mario to come back. He wanted to retire. And I hold on to a small ray of hope that someone is out there that wants to resuscitate Grindstone Bakery to once again, ship it throughout the country.

So I definitely went in this with a new palate. The staff is super friendly and helpful when helping you order. The place just felt so clean. Even with a lunch rush, it still felt so orderly. We ordered Amy's single, sweet potato fries, regular fries, and tortilla soup. I was surprised by the veggie burger patty. All the fixings really helped the burger feel complete and delicious. Organic and delicious is just something out of the ordinary which I love. The fries were definitely the star of their own show. I could just order these and I'd would've kept coming back. I've had some bad fries growing up, but these fries were so crisp, not overly oily, so clean that I could keep eating them like chips. The flavor of even the regular fries was delicious. Sweet potato fries were amazingly crisp too and not floppy or soggy-like. These fries are a hit. Tortilla soup was definitely good, I haven't had tortilla soup before so I didn't know what to expect. But wow, there was a lot of flavor with it. Chunks of vegetables, and the broth was just so flavorful. It's sad to see a good place go away, I do wish everyone good luck on their future endeavors.

The burger was totally worth it and had a lot of bacon which we liked. The chilaquiles were accompanied with a lot of toppings which made the dish not only look aesthetic but also be very filling. Service kindly switched out our water with cucumber with just plain water when I asked. Very good and fast service (we came on a Friday at around 10:30am). The ambiance was nice as well. A lot of seating, good music, and clean spaces.

Since they remembered that she cant eat avacado she was satisfied, and enjoyed her breakfast. She said it was very good. We all shared the Tres Leche pancakes. Omg! Heaven. This restaurant is one of our favorite go tos. If you dont try it, your missing out! Go there. Lol.
