I love this place! It's one of my favorite spots on the way back home when I'm out of town I love the themed cupcakes they have different ones for every season and their cookies are amazing! I love the small and quirky interior and the prices are very fair

I have been an Odd Cookie Bakery ride or die since the very beginning - from Ana's first shop in Sacramento! While I have yet to visit the new location in Penngrove, she did come back into town last night for a pop-up! I ordered the Break My Heart Why Dontcha Cupcake, an Oatrageous Cookie, a This Cookie Is Bananas, a Bonfire Cookie, a Choco-Lot Cookie and She Works Hard For The Honey Cookie. Not only are the cookies the size of a Buick, but they are soft and filled with so many complexed flavors that make them stand out from all the rest. Oh, and how can I forget all of the creative themes and names she comes up with?! Ana is just such a warm and inviting person and it really shows in her baking and dedication to her shop and customers. Her shop is also very colorfully vivid and bright (just like it was in Sacramento) and I can't wait to see it in person again one day! Check them out if you're in the area - you won't be disappointed!

Stopped by this super cute dessert shop, and I'm so glad I did!!! The inside is adorable, and the owner did it all by themself! It was hard to pick what to try as there were so many options!!! We ended up getting one cookie and one cupcake. S'moreo - 4/5 stars - it's HUGE and THICK, not too sweet, great texture with the chunky chocolate in the cookie, the marshmallow was the only part that was ok Harry the Hunter - 5/5 stars - tiramisu cupcake with a sugar cookie on top, both were so yummy and not too sweet, the cupcake has coffee cake vibes The owner is super nice and friendly and passionate about cookies!!! It was fun chatting with them! Highly recommend if you're in the area!!!

Odd Cookie is anything but ordinary! What a great little bakery nestled along the main street of Penngrove. I actually discovered this business on Instagram and was super intrigued by the creative and fun flavor combos. The owner recently tended to my custom order for Valentine's Day. I loved how decorated each cupcake was-- such attention to detail and truly delicious! Odd Cookie provided a wonderful experience from the initial DM to the last bite of cupcake. I wish their business the very best.

This lil bakery has been on my list for a while although for some reason I kept thinking about it on Sundays which is the only pecans day she's closed. So finally made a date with a girlfriend to go here on Saturday! Whew so many cookies to choose from. Owner Baker is so incredibly creative! I almost felt bad starting with classics. Oatmeal raisin for hubs and oatmeal chocolate with pecans for me. My friend got the circus animal cookie and she was on cloud 9, it has a cookie topping the cookie! Well a few days later I found myself in the area again to meet another friend for her birthday so that warrants more cookies of course! I got her a "She works hard for the honey," Snicker doodle with nuts and a honey drizzle! Luckily she shared it with me because it was deeeelicious! Got hubs a Snicker doodle and he loved it. I went for the classic chocolate chip, because I was advised that the smore cookie I was eyeing was not a good one to eat in the car and well car cookie was required that day. Next time! Because there most definitely will be a next time! If you get 5 cookies, she throws in a 6th cookie! Woo hoo! I'm trying to save money and be kinda healthy so I stuck to one cookie a person. Hubs is very supportive, but after eating his first cookie, he says I should have gotten 6! Lol Oh and the baker is super friendly and patient as you try to decide between the 30 options!

This place is so cute! Anna was so sweet and helped us pick out our cookies! There is so many fun flavors of cookies to choose from and the cutest cupcakes for Christmas! This was our first time going here and we picked up 6 items because we couldn't decide what we wanted!! All the cookies are so soft! We came home and tried the Oreo cookie and apple bottom snickerdoodle and OMG THEY ARE AMAZING!!! We will definitely be going here for our sweet tooth cravings!

I like to stop by here on cheat days The ambiance is rad, and the desserts are unique & delicious. It's also a great place to get a small gift for someone if you're ballin' on a budget Some people might assume that with all those positives I listed, that the customer service is trash or some other catch. You'd be wrong. Sorry. 5 stars!

So, it's no secret that I love Odd Cookie...but I had to share a photo of the best dessert I've ever had! This raspberry cake cup is absolutely to die for!!!!

After seeing nothing but positive reviews about this place, I had to try it. I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and was immediately greeted by the owner who is extremely nice. The display case was filled with a variety of cookies making it hard to decide which one to get. i ended up buying half a dozen and took them home to eat. OMG these cookies are delicious. The quality and cooking is far better than Crumbl. A bonus for me was that the cookie was cooked in the middle to a soft, but cooked center. I will definitely be back to try more of their items!!!

Where can I possibly begin? Odd cookie was amazing. The communication, the promptness, the fact she gave me so many options when I told her the subject of the cupcake and had NO idea where to begin. I HIGHLY recommend this place. Everyone was talking about the cupcakes and how good they were.

Yum!

This is the cutest little shop that puts out some amazing creations. My wife got me a berry cake for my birthday. It was so tasty. The berries were gorgeous and at the peak of freshness. The icing was not overwhelmingly sugary. The pairing was delicious. They even made a homemade jammy center/filing between the layers. Oh my!!! They could sell this alone. Amazing. The only reason I did not give them 5 stars, the cake was a little dense for my liking. But this will not stop me from going to this bakery. Enjoy. You will not be disappointed

Needs more sugar. The cookie is good and the anticipation is off of the charts but I am thinking more along the lines of cake frosting.

Red Bird happens to have an excellent gluten free muffin, as well as a to-die-for gluten free brownie. This morning, I had the cranberry orange GF muffin and it was so good. The flavors felt very holiday and the muffin was the perfect texture. My wife loves their breakfast sandwiches, but she is not a huge fan of their English muffins so she gets them on sourdough bread. Red Bird makes all their breads and they are really great quality. If you ever come in for lunchtime then their artisan pizza is the main attraction. They make some really wonderful, unique pizzas that you can get a slice or two and enjoy! Red Bird also offers good coffee here (Retrograde!) and other hot drinks. Plus, they do cakes and desserts to order. We have ordered their Yule Log for several Christmas's in the past, and we order cakes here for birthdays. The service here is always friendly and helpful, and we love sitting at their long, wooden tables when there is time to eat at the cafe. I like their dining area, which feels very communal and fun. If you haven't been here before then come and check it out!

Came here to meet a friend before a trip to the coast and somehow this place turned into mission control. Snacks? Covered. Drinks? Secured. "What's the plan?" meeting? Handled. This place isn't a stop... it's the pregame to your entire adventure. We walked in like "let's just grab a couple things real quick" ...and immediately started acting like we were prepping for a 3-day expedition into the wilderness. Trail mix, drinks, random artisan goodies we absolutely didn't need but emotionally required--into the basket they go. The vibe hits you right away--warm, local, no nonsense. Not that fake "rustic but expensive" energy... this is the real deal. The kind of place where you half expect someone to hand you sourdough and life advice. Now let's talk about that wood-fired kitchen... The smell alone should come with a warning label. You walk in thinking you have self-control... and 5 minutes later you're ordering like you just finished a marathon you didn't run. Zero regrets. Grab-and-go here is elite. Perfect if you're road-tripping because everything feels intentional--like it was made for people who say "we'll just eat in the car" and then end up parked somewhere scenic turning it into a full dining experience. Outside seating? Dangerous. You sit down "just for a minute" and suddenly you're 45 minutes deep into conversation, solving life, planning detours, and debating whether the coast trip should include at least three unnecessary stops (it should). The market side is where discipline goes to die. You go in for water... leave with snacks, drinks, and at least one item you'll later say, "honestly... great decision." Parking is easy, place is clean, and the whole experience just flows without trying too hard. This isn't just a market. It's a pit stop that turns into a personality trait. Will I be back? Yeah... next time I'm pretending I only need one thing again.

I feel like it's presence in the area has changed the tone of the other businesses and bringing the quality up substantially. Owned and operated by the stellar team from Petaluma Market, Penngrove market has a ton of amazing things. I have been known to pop in and wander even if I don't have anything I need, just to see what they have seasonally or new. I love their gourmet options and so much is locally sourced. In the back, you will find fresh pizza and sandwiches made for lunch time and dinner and they also do to go dinner that you can pre-order for your entire family which is great. Some of my favorite things from Penngrove market are the JM Rosen cheesecake, their awesome selection of chocolates and desserts, and the ever-changing coffee, tea and spices. For the wine and beer drinkers, they have a small but impressive selection of local and imported beverages, as well as many drinks for those looking for something refreshing and non-alcoholic. The coffee bar at the front is an excellent choice for morning pastry and hot drink, or you can bypass that entirely and go for the Strauss organic soft serve which is honestly not to be missed. The location of the store is easy to get to as long as you are coming at a time that does not coincide with school pickup, and there's lots of parking right on the street or in their parking lot. Prices are moderately high, but what you get for that price is high quality and supporting local business which works for me!

Really enjoy this one! ** strawberry and cream chiffon cake slice (3.5/5): didn't really feel like a chiffon cake or maybe it was on the drier side. It worked well with the mascarpone frosting though, which was smooth and a little too rich for me by itself. There wasn't too much strawberry besides the sweet jam layer in the middle. ** Brutta mi buoni (4/5): translated to "ugly but delicious," this craggly meringue actually caught my eye and curiosity for its looks. I'm usually not a fan of meringues, but this one was loaded with nuts and was tasty. Kind of tastes like a refined version of those Lucky Charms cereal marshallows in a good way! We only tried the sweet *oink oink* * Friendly service * Love that they have both full sized pies and smaller ones, so you don't have to commit to a big ol' pie. * We tried their Elvis (PB, banana, and chocolate) and their Black & Blue Crumble and they were both fabulous! I leaned a bit more to the B&B, as I absolutely adored that granola crumble on top, but the Elvis was no slouch either. The Meh: * Interior is small and very cramped. Definitely a grab-and-go type operation. The Ugly: * Parking in DT Petaluma can be a hassle, as it's street parking only, but at least it's free. Conclusion: Fantastic spot to scratch that 3.14 itch--and I'm always itchy!
