    Fried Chicken Dumpling (8)

Food was delicious and the service was pleasant. That robot was in the way but my only issue was that the street was closed and there weren't any visible signs of a detour for parking. I will return

I ordered the hot and sour soup and fried pork and chive dumplings. Everything was very flavorful. The restaurant was clean and the service was quick.

Was excited to see another dumpling spot open up near us but we were a little disappointed in the service and some of the food. I assumed I ordered to eat in and the girl at the counter didn't ask. After ordering we sat down at a table and were given our order in a take out bag. I guess there was some miscommunication there. We got the signature milk tea, jasmine fruit tea, soup dumplings, pan fried dumplings, and spicy beef noodle soup. We enjoyed our drinks and dumplings! Standard and as expected. I didn't mind the thicker skin of the soup dumplings, I actually enjoyed it and there was a good amount of soup in there. The beef noodle soup was nothing like we've had before and we've had a lot from different regions of China and Taiwan. For one, the noodles were cut up in very short strands and weren't the typical flour or wheat noodle. The broth tasted more like a ramen broth and there were even boiled eggs which is not typical. The beef was cut up in small pieces. Flavor was OK but it definitely did not seem like Chinese style beef noodle soup at all. Felt a lot closer to Japanese ramen. In addition the spiciness came from a thick chili oil that upset my husband's stomach after (I didn't have any bc it was too spicy for me). Might come back for the dumplings as the pricing is reasonable but couldn't get the beef noodle soup again.

Decent place for dumplings in the metro Atlanta area! I swung by for their soft grand opening and had a good meal with friends. Amongst what we ordered: Har Gow Shrimp Dumpling, Pork Xiao Long Bao, Beef Sheng Jian Bao, and Pork Pan-Fried Dumplings, I'd say my favorites were the Beef Sheng Jian Bao and the Pan Fried Dumplings. The Sheng Jian Bao is a little more doughy than I'm used to, but the flavor was good! The Pan Fried Dumplings were nice and fried all around, and not just on the bottom. I think the Pork XLB was ok - I could tell the skin was fresh, but I felt that it lacked a little flavor. I'm not sure if they plan on getting soup spoons for the XLB, but it was a little weird to use normal spoons for that. I also got a mango passion green tea and it was ok - nothing amazing but not bad either. I love the concept of ordering through the QR code on the table and then paying at the end. It creates much more flexibility (table doesn't feel pressured to hurry up and order, and waiter doesn't have to keep checking in to see if the table is ready). Free parking in the deck around the corner from the restaurant!

Shanghai arrived right down the road in Chamblee! I may never be able to move again! So much great food and so close. The perfect place for your Chinese dumpling fix. The quality of the food was superb, fresh and handmade, fast, and delivered hot (via robot) to the table. Soup dumplings are some of the best in the area and are strong challenger to the high quality Lan Zhao Noodle soup dumplings over on Buford Hwy. Plenty of seating for the family and friends. Topped everything off with bubble tea (a passion fruit jasmine tea and a coconut boba smoothie). Can't wait to go back!

First walking in the lights are dim, floors clean and doesn't smell like much. Unlike other places this place doesn't have servers but a little robot who brings your food. However they do have people working there and they are very nice. Since they don't had servers at the corner of the table, they have a barcode you scan and order then pay upfront once you finish. I ordered 2 spicy beef noodles, 2 bobas, pork soup dumplings and beef steamed dumplings. If you order the spicy beef noodles I highly suggest if you cannot handle super spicy food it's best to not order this. My mango boba didn't come with the mango popping bobas I ordered. The dumpling aren't the best I have tasted but also aren't the worst. Would I come here again? Maybe not for the food but definitely for the lychee peachy jasmine tea latte.

Fantastic meal! Highly recommend. Cannot wait to be back again. Had Crabmeat and pork dumplings, shrimp fried rice and salt and pepper chicken wings. The mango smoothie was so refreshing!

If you see me here at Dumpling Masters 2-3 times a week, just mind your business. That's how deep the obsession runs. This spot is tucked off Chamblee Tucker, right by the Walmart and below the apartments--you honestly couldn't ask for a more convenient noodle-and-dumpling fix. The setup is easy: seat yourself, scan the QR code, and order straight from your phone. Complimentary water is waiting, and if you're in the mood, their teas and smoothies are just as crave-worthy as the food. Speaking of food... listen. I didn't even know what soup dumplings were at first, but one bite changed my life. Steamy little flavor bombs that should honestly come with a warning label: Highly Addictive. The noodle soups are pure comfort in a bowl--springy noodles, fresh greens, broth that hits every time, and toppings like shrimp or beef that make you want to order a second round. Service is always quick, staff is friendly, and the vibe is chill but lively. The regulars keep coming back (me included), and it feels like everyone here's in on the same delicious secret. Bottom line: if you're anywhere near Chamblee Tucker and you don't stop here, you're missing out big. Dumpling Masters isn't just a restaurant--it's a habit, a lifestyle, maybe even a love story. Catch me here slurping noodles like it's my side hustle.

First of all the restaurant is very spacious and clean. The staff were super friendly and we were greeted as soon as we opened the door. The dumplings were so tasty. I think the steamed pork dumplings were my favourite. The fruit tea with boba was too good. This place is a 10/10.

Just had lunch at the new Dumpling Master in Chamblee. Everything I had was delicious! The soup dumpling shell was slightly thicker, which i don't mind bc they usually fall apart on me The sauce that came with the dumplings was perfect too - a little tangy, a little sweet. The veggie fried rice was not greasy, had plenty of veggies, and lots of flavor. The sleeper hit was the coconut bun! So addictive! Sweet with a slight coconut flavor. I wouldn't mind more coconut and more condensed milk, but it was hard not to finish these. Highly recommend!

The place is tucked into the corner of the chamblee office complex. It has free parking and is a cute little store with nice cozy vibes. The food is delicious! I got the beef chowfun, szechuan chicken, and the pork and chive dumplings. My favorites were in the order of the chicken, dumps, and noodles. The chicken was perfectly cooked and not too spicy, the dumplings were so juicy and full of flavor, and the noodles were perfectly cooked with great texture. It's a nice spot for a date night and I will definitely be coming back!

I came here for dinner at their soft opening on June 5th! I saw their advertisement on Facebook, and they were offering one free drink per person. The place is very spacious, with tables fairly far apart, and quite clean with modern furniture. I couldn't find an accessible trashcan, but they really modernized their eating experience with a QR code to order and robot that delivers your food. The plates and steam bowl is neat and stylish too. You also get your own chopsticks and plastic utensils at the corner of their ordering table. Each table comes with 3 labeled sauces: dumpling sauce, soy sauce, and chili oil. Parking is free on the street or at a nearby parking deck at the back. Everything we ate was reasonably priced; however, I did see that the siu mai was almost $8 which is a lot to be honest. The menu has a little bit of everything from wonton soup to smoothies, with not too many options for each so it allows for easy pickings. We ordered the - taro milk tea with crystal boba: delicious and sweet! It tasted amazing with the chewy crystal boba. I think I could've gotten 50% sugar and it still would have a good taro flavor. Also note, the boba are all one size but you can adjust the sugar, ice, and toppings on the ordering site. - brown sugar milk tea with tapioca: this wasn't as good as my taro but had a separate brown sugar and milk flavor. It didn't feel as combined or how a brown sugar milk tea is supposed to be. - pork soup dumplings: these were my least favorite out of the 3 dumplings we got, but it had its perks. Their soup dumplings have more soup than usual, and I love soup. I bit into one and it almost exploded. The skin is kind of loose and thicker than I have them, and the meat was loose and kind of fell apart inside. - deep fried seafood and pork dumplings: these deep fried ones were surprisingly pretty good. They came steaming hot. They were also filled well with part/half of a shrimp and pork filling. They were crisp too. - beef sheng jian bao (5): I am a big fan of pan fried dumplings. I love the soft yet crunchy ish bun with a good chunk of meat inside. These were my favorite out of all the dumplings we ate :3

Was craving some soup dumplings and this spot didn't disappoint! Came for lunch and it wasn't too busy so we were seated right away. The service was good the waitress answered our questions and offered feedback on their most popular dishes. For appetizers we got the spring rolls which were hot and crispy with sweet chili dipping sauce and honey garlic wings i wasn't a big fan of the seasoning it was not a good balance of the honey and garlic it was really more garlic then anything. For our main dishes we got the Shanghai fried noodles beef that were so yummy the meat was nice and tender and the noodles were light and tasty served with some sautéed veggies also. The star of the show however was the soup dumplings info pork and they were delicious full of flavor soupy goodness and i added the dumpling sauce and hot oil to them *chefs kiss. For drinks we got teas my mom got the coconut milk tea with tapioca boba which i enjoyed better than mine and I got the fruit tea mix with lychee jelly ( i thought it was actually going to be boba) which i actually prefer. Great restaurant they even have robots to come and bring you your food.

Having been at least once every couple months for years, it's our Chinese comfort food as dim sum is meant to be. Although I would recommend arriving at anytime they are open, we find the absolute best time for dim sum is to arrive right at opening on Saturday or Sunday. This time lets us beat the wait, get a great table fast, and the food is super plentiful, hot and fresh out of the kitchen. The chrysanthemum tea is a must have and complements the food as a perfect, tasty, and just sweet enough palate cleanser (although I would prefer to add the rock sugar myself to my tea, they serve it with sugar already inside the pot). For the absolute best pairing with your chrysanthemum tea, make sure to save room for the awesome pineapple buns while supplies last. They were out today and we all collectively cried (will be going back just for the pineapple buns soon...we are just not complete without them!). We love all the dishes, but our absolute favorites (outside of the pineapple buns) are the pork spare ribs with black bean, the beef rice rolls/noodles, shrimp dumplings, and turnip cakes. Add some spicy sauce to the spare ribs and turnip cakes to really set them off! For iced coffee lovers who like it really strong, don't pass up on the iced coffee. It has legs that are strong enough to walk, but completely complements the dim sum with a little extra boost to help you enjoy the day. So, I challenge others to find a better dim sum place in Atlanta. That is why Canton House earns my 5th star and looking forward to getting my pineapple buns (really) soon!

We started with the flower tea, amazing choice! Sweet and warming, nicely aromatic. Perfect start. Then the dim sum carts rolled in and we chowed down. DISHES I ORDERED - Siu Mai: Not the best I've had. Quite oily on the outside, but the flavor isn't bad. It does...taste like siu mai. It's just nothing spectacular - Chinese Broccoli: A classic! Very good - Beef Chow Fun: A very chewy and bouncy home made flat noodle dish. Savory, salty, and flavorful! Good amount of tender beef too. - Shrimp Balls: Crispy and fried on the outside, yummy, with good big shrimp ball. Yummy classic sweet and sour sauce too. Delicious - Egg Rolls: Good, not too oily, a normal egg roll - Spare ribs: Possibly my favorite dish! Tender, not too chewy, good savory sweet flavor. -- Overall, it's not bad but it's nothing to write home about. My favorite item was probably the spare ribs. The rest were standard in my opinion. However, service is fast since it is dimsum, so perfect to eat when hungry! Also great ambiance for big group parties or hangouts!

That's what I did with the Fisherman's Congee which turned out to have something I was allergic to (crustaceans). That's okay because the others ate it and I ordered a Roast Duck Congee instead. Yum. Service: Orders are called out on a microphone/speaker and you pick up at the counter. They forgot my chicken feet so I had to go up with my receipt and ask. They pulled their copy from the spike and made it right, with some squabbling among the employees in the process. Everyone had to bus their own tables. One employee cleaned the floor with rags instead of a mop. Not ideal. Overall, the dining room did not feel clean. The restroom was relatively decent, though. Atmosphere: We visited during a peak time, on a Sunday around 12:45 PM. The place was packed. Luckily, we were able to find a table. My wife described the scene as "chaotic." I call it authentic. :)

Admittedly this location is in need of a DEEP clean and a major facelift. It's like stepping into a vintage time capsule. But hey, at least there's yummy food inside. Considering that, the prices do not really match the ambience at all in my opinion. However it seems they might have a big staff to support, especially those who make their dumplings and noodles from scratch. I'll pay a lil extra at a takeout spot for the food quality because it's certainly there. The staff has been pleasant enough, which is a nice plus. The pork buns are a great mouthful (I prefer steamed). Same for the soup dumplings. Unmatched in the texture of the dough. I've tried their hand-pulled noodles in a soup as well as a stir-fry and they certainly held their own. The noodle consistency is incredibly dreamy, so much so it has become a craving in my household. I don't like the beef they use as it can be a bit dry but the flavor is really nice. Nothing has been salty so far and the flavor profile is always robust. Numbing spice on deck. Again, the food is a hit. Where this place falls short is appearance and service. It just feels stuck in another century, and not in an endearing way. I ate here once, saw the condition of the restaurant and the health score, and settled on the blissful ignorance of takeout from thereon. The parking lot is rough and an eyesore. The quality of the food is far beyond what the exterior suggests. This is our one and only go-to spot when we need a true Chinese food fix in Atlanta. Simple, no-frills, and all about the food. It's not trendy or polished -- and that's part of the charm. You're here for authentic, bold flavors, not fancy decor. Service is pretty solid, even with the occasional language barrier or when the person hand-making dumplings steps away for a break. Even during peak busy times on previous visits, they've handled things well. One thing we learned the hard way: don't ask them to modify dishes. On a past visit, we asked for a change and they refused to preserve authenticity -- and honestly, I respect that 100% now. Lesson learned: trust the chef and learn to handle the spice! This place is all about explosive, authentic flavors. Our usual star is the Spicy Griddle Cooked Fish Fillet with potato chips, carrot chips, lotus root, and purple yam. It's a full-on flavor bomb -- numbing Sichuan peppercorn heat, bold spice, and perfect for sharing. Absolute showstopper. The Twice Cooked Pork Belly with Cabbage is my new favorite -- juicy, succulent pork paired with crunchy cabbage and an incredible sauce. Just phenomenal. The Black Pepper Beef was flavorful, though this time it leaned a bit heavy on green peppers and lighter on the beef. Still tasty, just slightly unbalanced. The Egg Fried Rice complemented everything beautifully -- and best of all, it wasn't oily. And the Lamb & Zucchini Dumplings? Worth every minute of the wait. Handmade and packed with flavor -- another absolute winner. We can't wait to go back. This is the kind of place you proudly take out-of-town guests -- they'll be blown away and talking about it the rest of their trip. Northern China Eatery never disappoints.

They did not skimp on the protein, the bottom of the dish is veggies but I don't mind because I love vegetables and it's still very filling. Food came out pretty quick and the workers were courteous. A great place to get a cheap and tasty meal.

The whole setup is like a mini food hall with several authentic Chinese spots to choose from--but Chong Qing is where I landed. I ordered the crispy chicken with garlic sauce and swapped the white rice for a side of house lo mein (yes, it's an upcharge, but worth it). Everything came out on real dishes--not to-go boxes--which I loved. You order and pay at the counter, grab a seat, and they bring the food out to you. Now let's talk about the food... DELICIOUS. The spice level was just right--flavorful with a nice kick, but not overpowering. If you like it hotter, you can definitely add more heat, but I was perfectly satisfied as is. The lo mein was really good too--veggies were fresh with a nice crisp (those onions and carrots were hitting!), and everything tasted well-balanced. Only small note: I wish there was a little more meat in the dish, but it didn't take away from the overall experience. And let me say this--the portion size is VERY generous. I ate until I was full and still had just as much left to take home, which is always a win in my book. All in all, I'll definitely be back to try more. If you're in Chinatown Market and not sure what to pick, Chong Qing Hot Pot is a solid choice. 4/5 stars for me!
