Such a dog friendly coffee shop with kind staff! We enjoyed the matcha latte & coffee with pumpkin in it. Lots of seating inside and out. Reasonable prices. They offered my dog a pup cup which he was obsessed with! We also tried their pistachio croissant and gruyere twist which were both just OK but I didn't mind considering this isn't a french bakery. Drinks are wonderful! Can't wait to come back.

Crumb cake and White Chocolate Mocha

A friend suggested Sidecar for a coffee date, and it was perfect. I parked across the street at city hall, and it was a quick walk over. Once inside, I was able to quickly place my order. I opted for the white chocolate mocha and crumb cake. The cake was delicious! There are outdoor and indoor seating options. Outdoors was perfect for the weather!

Avocado toast and hibiscus tea

Cute coffee stand and good place to work! I'm not a huge coffee drinker but I really enjoyed the hibiscus tea and their avocado toast was phenomenal. Service was extremely friendly and fast, and she offered to answer any questions I had about the menu. Sidecar is located in Chamblee Tap and Market and there is a small parking lot beside it. Temporary parking is also available and the address is located on a sign in the lot; lots of street parking is also offered around the area.

I was out running errands with my family and decided to stop by Sidecar Coffee for a quick pick-me-up. Sidecar is a stall located inside Chamblee Tap & Market. Parking is limited to the small area next to the market as well as street. They serve coffee, tea, as well as breakfast and lunch toasts and sandwiches. The staff was friendly and helpful. I ordered a hot honey-cinnamon oat milk latte for myself, iced dirty matcha latte for my son, and a hot Americano for my dad. Our drinks were prepared quickly. However, they made my son's matcha hot instead of iced. When I brought it to their attention, they quickly fixed it. Our drinks were delicious. My latte was smooth and helped me get through the rest of the day!

This place has some of the best coffee, but they are really small. I cannot believe all they get done, considering they serve pretty good breakfasts, in addition to their full coffee menu, The employees are so nice, and I really appreciate that since they are dealing with customers back to back, I never see a break in their line. They have indoor and outdoor seating, and they have their own parking lot that is small as well as parking available across the street. This is a very family friendly location that is also a brewery/BBQ joint at in the afternoon. The coffee alone makes it worth the visit, but it is a great place to meet with friends and I would suggest going out of the way for it.

breakfast sandwich & iced matcha latte

Cute coffee stall and good place to study! I love their matcha and their offering of seasonal drinks. I got their iced matcha latte and breakfast sandwich! The matcha had good flavor and was relatively rich, and the sandwich was filling and just a touch salty. Service was extremely friendly and fast, and she offered to answer any questions I had about the menu. Sidecar is located in Chamblee Tap and Market and there is a small parking lot beside it. Temporary parking is also available and the address is located on a sign in the lot; lots of street parking is also offered around the area.

There is Limited parking in front of the building. It's a small cafe apart of a food hall. I tried their seasonal coffee but next time I want to try their various syrups that they make in house. Reasonably priced coffee. I don't know if I'd pay $9 again for the croissant. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. Lots of seating inside and offer for here or Togo.

This place is cute! It is tucked off inside a brewery. It was hard to find, I had to loop around a few times. They have a good verity of coffees and baked goods. If you are a fan of alons baked goods they carry their blueberry muffin 10/10.

Iced caramel latte

Saturday afternoon at Sidecar Coffee Shop, located in Chamblee Tap & Market, turned out to be an unexpected delight! While exploring the neighborhood, I spotted a sign that led me here -- and I'm so glad it did. Upon arriving, I was greeted by a friendly cashier, and the entire team behind the counter impressed me with their proactive and coordinated effort in preparing specialty drinks. Their teamwork created a welcoming and efficient vibe. After browsing the menu, I decided on an iced caramel coffee paired with a slice of banana bread -- and both were absolutely delicious! The rich caramel flavor in the coffee was just right, and the banana bread was moist and flavorful. Sidecar offers ample seating both inside and out on the patio, making it a perfect spot to hang out, study, or simply take a break. Convenient parking is available on the side of the coffee shop as well as on nearby streets. I'm excited to have discovered this gem and will definitely be returning soon!

Turkish Eggs
Mimi N.

Sidecar Coffee is in a cute little spot in Chamblee although a little difficult to find as there was no signage. The matcha was solid! S'mores latte was super sweet and all you could taste was the syrup. The Turkish eggs (or egg I should say) was okay. Definitely don't expect a filling meal, it only has one egg cut into 2 halves. For the price (~$12 I believe), I'd expect at least one 2-3 eggs since it's just Greek yogurt, chili oil, avocado and some toast. Nice vibe but not sure it's worth what they charge.

Iced Coffee with Half Lavender, Half Vanilla Syrup and Whole Milk

We stopped by for coffee on Saturday, 2/22/25, at 9:30 am. Note that they don't allow you to bring outside food, but the owner was kind enough to let us do it that once since we didn't know. I got an iced coffee with house-made half lavender, half vanilla syrup ($4.50 + $1). It was good! I recommend if you're in the area.

Sidecar coffee was such a cute spot! It's located inside tap + market. I love their cute logo on the cups too. We got two matcha lattes, one regularly sweetened and one lavender. The lavender was so so good! Tasted for fresh and fragrant! The service here was super friendly as well. They had lots of indoor and outdoor seating. They also have picnic blankets to use on the green. Love this spot! Can't wait to make this my regular matcha spot.

Brown sugar cinnamon latte and matcha latte!
Ash W.

BEST MATCHA AND COFFEE! Their matcha is so rich and creamy! It's just as perfect with the classic syrup, but also so good with the vanilla syrup as well. The house made syrups are soo good in the lattes too. The employees are so kind even with the line. Such a perfect place to hang out with on a weekend. Definitely recommend!!

II. SERVICE The barista making the latte art is talented! This is one of the slim cafes in Atlanta and the surrounding area that uses glassware, elevating the experience. There's outlets throughout the cafe and a self-service water station. III. QUALITY All of the coffee I've tasted has been dense in flavor. Great craftsmanship. IV. CAPACITY Seating is quite limited with how in demand this location is. I went around noon on a week day and got lucky to find a spot. The space is open, airy, and thoughtfully designed. I especially loved the seating layout. There's actually room to breathe. You're not crammed next to other tables or accidentally overhearing your neighbor's entire life story. Some cafes feel packed like sardines, but Kin does it right. They even have a cozy living-room style seating area that adds to the relaxed vibe. There's also outdoor seating, which would be perfect on a beautiful day. The latte I ordered was divine- smooth, balanced, and perfectly crafted. As someone who loves good latte art, Kin's baristas absolutely deliver. We were served the most beautiful swan latte art, which made the experience even better. Totally brewtiful! Everyone in our group loved their drinks. One friend mentioned their strawberry matcha is amazing, so that's definitely on my list for my next visit. Another thing I loved: they showcase work from local artists that's displayed and available for purchase. Love, love, love when cafés support local creatives. They also offer a few pastry options that could pair nicely with your drink. Will have to try that next time My only wish? That they stayed open later because I could easily see myself hanging out here all the time. If you appreciate great coffee, good and chill vibes, and cafes that really know their craft, definitely check out Kin Coffee. They even roast their own beans, which makes it a true coffee lover's spot.

I opted to park at the Wal-Mart and wasn't as familiar with the trail so I took the street route. Well-light and populated for safe crossing. The venue is very open and was relatively empty since we arrived shortly after it opened. I love the indoor seating concept with plenty of couches, movable chairs, tables near the open-area space and smaller sections for 2-4 people tucked away along the wall. The DJ was already doing his thing and the bartenders remained busy. As someone who wasn't interested in the drinks, I appreciate that there was a self-serve water cooler in the center of the room. The Jenga and jumbo Uno cards were a hit!!!! It was so nice to have these options available. And as others mentioned, the large screen was playing a classic movie - which we could still see from inside. I didn't stay long and this was a Sunday night but the parking lot was much busier when I left. I imagine the outdoor space gets crowded later in the evening as well. The DJ was just okay - not my cup of tea - but folks seemed to be enjoying themselves. I can definitely see why this place is popular. Although parking is less than desirable, it is not unreasonable. The venue is well-lit and easy to move around. The crowd was diverse, with various ages and backgrounds represented. And depending on the DJ, this would be a great place for meeting with friends, date night or just zoning out to some wonderful music ... especially on a beautiful night. If you're in the mood for something different AND don't mind the trek to Chamblee, check it out.

The rolls are priced around $2.50 each and were soft and fresh. I went with the red bean bun and taro bun. Both were buttery and delicious, although they could use a little more filling. For $26, I got a ton of food and 90% of it was absolutely delectable. And I say that with an 8-year-old in tow who enjoyed it too! Let's start with the never again item: the Flossy Bun. It's a popular Chinese pastry made with soft, sweet bread filled and topped with sweet and savory pork floss... allegedly. There weren't any descriptions, so I looked it up online. But let me tell you--no. Just no. I don't get how it's popular. Definitely a cultural preference, and it's not for me. I even paused mid-bite hoping I'd grow into the flavor. Nope. Then there was the Coffee Butter Cream Pastry. I thought at the very least my fiancée would like it since she enjoys coffee flavors. That was another miss. I even gave some to two little ones, and the faces they made reminded me of the time I tried canned octopus. That's how bad the flavor was. But now to the good stuff--because the rest? Fire. BBQ Pork Bun - Yummy! Not packed with meat, but enough to enjoy and super easy to pull apart. I really wish they offered a heated option for this, because that would've put it over the top. Japanese Milk Cream Bun - Super creamy. I do wish it had just a little more cream inside, but the bread was so soft and delicious, I honestly didn't care. Hot Dog Cheese Bun - I got this for the little one and I've never seen a child eat something so fast. I'm taking that as a solid win. Egg Tart - Grabbed this from the front warmer after watching another customer snag one. I had missed it earlier. Not totally my thing on its own, but when I got home and added a little chili paste? Devoured. Hong Kong Boba Milk Tea - I went with this instead of the brown sugar version and kind of regret it, but it wasn't bad at all. All in all, the prices are great, the flavors were mostly on point, and the man at the register was super friendly and open to answering questions. Yeah--I'm sold. Looking forward to coming back!

I recommend dipping them in their house-made dumpling sauce or black vinegar. They also have other meat options. Har gow (shrimp dumplings) Filled with shrimp paste, bamboo, and dried scallops, has a stronger seafood flavor compared to traditional ones. Pan-fried pork & chive dumplings Crispy on the outside, and you can tell the skin is handmade. The filling is very juicy and lightly seasoned, more of a homemade style. Beef fried noodles -- recommend Yellow egg noodles with black pepper beef and vegetables. Savory with a nice peppery and wok flavor. The place itself is located on a side street and there's plenty of parking. There's also parking in the parking structure that is attached to a apartment complex as well. There's also a little back alley that you can park at too, there's ample parking, let's just say that LOL. The place itself is very clean and everybody is really friendly. They have the robot come and bring your food but you will still interact with the staff and they are pretty nice and very pleasant. Street parking Pork and chive dumplings - So the dumplings were really really good. I got them pan fried and they came out tender and yet crispy. The flavor was crazy, and the dumpling sauce was exceptionally good to me as well. I would 100% order these again. Chicken noodle soup - The soup was just okay. I had to do a little doctoring and I tried to get it where I needed to but it was decent but it was a little bit on the bland side. I ended up putting more of the wonton sauce in there to give it a little Tang and a little kick, as well as putting some chili oil in it as well. After that, it started working out pretty well. But on his own, it was decent but it wasn't good out of the box. Pork wonton with chili sauce - So this is kind of like my guilty pleasure. I love chili wontons. With this order you got a lot of them, and the sauce was on the plate and drizzle throughout the dumplings as well. Well so you got flavor at every turn. These were great! Szechuan spicy chicken - Pork soup dumplings - The soup dumplings were pretty good. To me. They weren't better than the chili wontons but they were still good and had a nice bit of flavor to them. The broth in them was tasty, but that kind of overtook meat inside. The broth was so flavorful that you didn't really, really know if you were eating chicken or pork or whatever. But nonetheless, it was still good and you got a nice bitter than for the order. I enjoyed the establishment. Their wontons are really nice sized and they are packed with flavor. I would not go back for the soup or the ramen bowl that they have but I would definitely go back to order five more orders of everything else lol.
