Met my cousin here for breaky and politely had a bacon egg and cheese crossaint and a hazelnut latte. These were decent. The decor was very cozy with multiple seating arrangements for two, sparkling lights, high ceilings, and wood interiors. The sandwiches were served on rectangular wooden plates. On my way out I grabbed oooooooh a couple of the to go items. You know as hostess gifts for those I was staying with in town. Bun delicious, crossaint still delicious, and cake slice delicious. Wow. I I work nearby, and I used to come by here a lot more often than I have recently. I typically go in and order what I want, and wait a couple of minutes for my sandwich to be made. For the first time, I ordered online and stopped by to pick it up. I just wanted something simple, so I ordered a chicken salad sandwich. What a disappointment. This was the saddest little thin sandwich I've ever seen. There may have been a tablespoon and a half of chicken salad piled on a tomato and lettuce bed. At Chicken Salad Chicks, you can barely finish one of their sandwiches, they're so overstuffed with chicken salad. It's what they do. This was really such a disappointment. I don't want to dispute the charge on my card, but I suspect if I tell a manager what's going on, I'm not going to get much satisfaction. I haven't decided yet, but I'll come back and let you know if I decide to blow this up. I have been coming to this bakery for probably +20 years...to me, this bakery is OG. And it still stands up. Over the years, this bakery has truly evolved. I like Paris Baguette and Tree Story as well but...I think I still favor this bakery on Buford Hwy. Their buns have so much filling! More than the other Korean bakeries in Atlanta. And taste the best. The curry croquette weighs about a brick it has so much filling...and not too oily and greasy. They even have some vegan options. And...although prob not ok for people who are truly celiac...those with gluten sensitivity should know koreans use rice or tapioca flour in many baked goods. I have given friends who avoid gluten the tapioca and rice balls and breads and they love it. (Not saying it is safe for people who avoid gluten but just saying for some it might be ok.) On Saturday mid-morning, the bakery was packed and difficult to move around as a lot of people did not know what to do. They were just standing, gawking and making it rather difficult to shop. When I explained and showed them what to do, learned most were new people to Korean bakeries who found out through social media or something similar. Enter, grab a tray, put bakery paper on it, grab some tongs (some bakeries tongs and gloves), open the display case and pick your goody. Please, please avoid touching any other goods except the one you want. Please keep your children from picking up and touching everything as well. (Korean culture is rather not to touch unless you buy.) This is one of the best bakeries in Atlanta I truly believe. The options seem never-ending for savory and sweet goodies. Honestly, I have not eaten off the cafe food menu but I am sure they are good. I only ever get drinks and the baked goods. Also, a kind request, Korean coffee shops and cafes are where people come to sit, drink, eat and socialize. I reserved/ordered a cake on 03/24/2026 to be picked up on 03/26/2026 @ 9:00am (Today). When I ordered the cake I wanted something large enough that could give approximately 20 people a decent enough piece of cake to eat. The guy taking the order said a 10" cake is not shown in the display but it would probably be enough for 20 people. There was literally no special instructions, special messages or deviations from the same design that was in the display case. I asked if two days was sufficient time for this cake to be made and ready by 03/26/2026 at 9:00am to which he replied "the staff comes in at 3:00am and since it's two days it will be enough time". I paid and left. The morning of pickup (Today) approximately an hour before pickup time they called me from an unknown number several times and when I didn't pick up they texted me. They claimed they didn't see my order until this morning and that I needed to provide a week's notice for the type of cake I ordered (In direct conflict with what I was told on the day I ordered it). They then offered to push my pickup time back 3 hours and "try" to have it ready by then or give me a 7" cake and a 9" cake instead. After they messed up and didn't provide what I ordered in the first place, it's safe to say I didn't have much faith left in either of the alternatives they offered nor their word. I opted for a third option, my money back. This cake was supposed to be for a 96 year old grandmother's birthday and her friends. But never mind that, there's always next year, right? Potential customers be warned and make absolute SURE you VERIFY with whoever you're ordering about WHAT you're ordering before spending any money here. Edit: I will extend an olive branch and give one star back because they addressed the mistake and maintained communication in a professional manner. read more

I visited this cafe this afternoon and had a great experience. The building is beautiful with plenty of seating and music. They provide free strong wifi so there were many young customers doing homework or studying there. If you prefer a quiet study place, I would suggest noise cancelling earphones. The bakery had plenty of bread, cakes, and drink options. I was sitting at the bench facing the window and noticed they always had customers flowing in to pick out a treat. I ordered a classic lavender milk tea. The lavender flavor was very present and heavily floral. I would recommend the small size drink, because the floral flavor can be overwhelming. They gave a good amount of drink for the price I paid. One thing I noticed that may be a bit strange to bring up was the plastic caps of the plastic cups were difficult to put a straw in. I almost had to stab the plastic cap into the opening and actually dented and broke my straw. I ended up getting a new straw. I also noticed that the wooden stools facing the windows were wobbly. One thing I want to point out is that if you when they first open, most bakery items aren't out and ready for selling yet! However they do still have a decent selection. I got one of their cream filled croissants which was super delicious! The cream wasn't too sweet (which was perfect because there's a good amount of cream inside) and the croissant was so flaky.
