My favorite bakery in Georgia. They have a wide variety of pastries. From savory to sweet. Greeted customers right away once in the bakery. The bakery is clean and there is plenty of tables and seats for customers to enjoy there beverage and pastries in the bakery. There is a good amount of families and groups of friends enjoying there baked goods in the store. There is no line but it can become busy. One of the locals top bakeries to go to in Georgia. I picked out some pastries to try,I liked every single one of them. I got the chocolate twisted croissant, red croissant, original cubed croissant, green mung bean bread, garlic cream cheese bread loaf, almond puff pastry and pecan pie. Not a single baked good is too sweet.Besides baked goods they serve made to order breakfast sandwiches too. Love this bakery!!.

White windmill has definitely upgraded with product! You can smell the coffee from outside. Now offering trendy treats and gluten free options. I was very surprised to see it and gladly picked up some things. I did come in on a Sunday afternoon where some things were already gone but still had plenty to offer. Service was short and dry. No one really speaks to you when you enter the ambiance is definitely for studying or meeting some friends for conversation and quick bites.

Nice Korean bakery off of Buford Hwy in Doraville. Always fresh pastries, hot coffee, bread, cake, and a sandwich station. Good quick friendly service and usually a quiet place to talk with friends. This time we ordered the sweet potato mousse cake and a few other tasty treats with coffee.

Had passed this place a few times and always made a note to try it. Then I saw a video on The Gram and viewed the CUBE CROISSANT! Well, we had to go to try that! Got there around noon on a Sunday and the place was BUSY! I saw just one cube croissant left and grabbed it! Of course I had to get a few more things, ordered a sammich and a lemonade. Each of these orders came with their own beepers - you go to different counters to pick them up. Everything we tried was good. The place had open seating. S you may share a long tables with others? But no worries - we got a table to enjoy pulling apart this special croissant. Will be back and bring mom next time!

Deciding to meet up here for a foodie first, a good friend and I were SO pleased with outing!! Having no idea what to get, we decided to get a little of everything that we got our stomachs could handle. Granted, we ordered for dine in, we ended up taking more items to-go! There's just so much to choose from. And before we were even done placing our order, we'd already planned to make a second trip, based on the menu items alone plus notable seen in the display cases. Passingly, we mentioned it was my friend's birthday and continued with our order, not realizing the surprise to come. {See photo} Now, the space itself is very welcoming with a feast for the eyes and appetite. Once seated. The atmosphere of a cozy, un-rushed cafe vibe is everywhere... Excellent for girl talk and the like! Giggling over matcha lattes, our items were swiftly prepared and quite delish. Convo's had & nibbles finished, we departed with many smiles, sated tummies, and goodies to go! Highly recommend... BON APPETIT!

Kids and I stopped here on a Saturday around 1 pm. My favorite item, the curry bread was already sold out. Daughter picked out a croissant with cookie topping and cookie on the inside She said it was tasty. We also got a cake roll that looks amazing. I recommend coming early on a Saturday to avoid disappointment!

This is such a cute bakery to visit or study at. They do get loud and busy at times. I love getting bread here because it always tastes so fresh and they have a variety of options to choose from. Their drinks were alright but worth the price you pay, and the sandwhich was so thick and filling for $12. Each bread ranges from $3-$6ish that you can choose from and they sell drinks, cakes, and sandwiches too. Parking is limited but plenty of seats and space inside.

Brioche sandwiches were meh but their cakes are good and one of the better Korean bakeries on Buford hwy.

The baked goods were very yum. They had a good selection. The sandwiches were okay and underwhelming. Definitely one of the better Asian style bakeries in the Atlanta area. Despite the business they delivered our food pretty fast.

Came here for dessert after dinner! Unfortunately, most of the fresh stuff was gone, so I'll definitely have to come back earlier in the day. But I still walked out with a red bean donut and a taro bubble tea, both of which were very good. I also liked the atmosphere of this place and the numerous tables available for those gathering to have a snack or the all day camper remote worker or student.

This place is a magical haven for sweets and treats! It felt like a carb lover's Disneyland; from parties to sandwiches, this spot has it all. No wonder it was packed--everyone loves the hype. I treated myself to a California club sandwich, which was large, tasty, and filling. I'm so excited about the new location opening in Buckhead so I can try some pastries and another hot sandwich!

I go here all the time to study and get the chocolate chip croissant i think is what it's called and the mango mousse! Also has free wifi and plenty of tables to study at.

When in the year does the menu switch? (Hunting for that bingsu)

Usually sometimes between September and October, whenever the weather gets chilly.

Does this bakery make customized birthday cakes?

Yes, as long as it's based on their existing options (meaning, you can't order something random that they don't already sell).

Is this a dog friendly place?

I sat with my dog out on the patio and no one complained

Is it possible to reserve a table dor a group?

No but usually it isn't too hard to find seating. They have both inside and outside options available.

Very nice place but zero gluten free?

Probably not. Some items contain rice flour, but that's about it.

I'll also add that the entrance can be confusing as Family Baking shares space or simply is owned by Rolls Village. None of this stops me from stopping by. Most notable was the cleanliness of the store and the amount of customers coming in and out. I was informed by a young lady at the cash register that the cake would need to be made fresh and it would take anywhere between 10 to 15 minutes to complete. I agreed to wait for the time and provided my card for the purchase and was not provided with a receipt. After 10 minutes, I re-entered the store after waiting in my car and the cake still was not completed. I waited in an additional 20 minutes for the cake. I was handed the box and left on my way. My family and I cut the cake and discovered that there was molded strawberries on top. It was slightly difficult to detect due to the fuzzy white nature of the mold and the cream that was also white in color. We immediately stopped eating the cake. With many festivities happening with our family, we reached out to Paris baguette and was provided with a phone number for the owner to follow up. We have been in correspondence back-and-forth in order to try to rectify this situation, but the response has been somewhat slow, despite the fact, there are photos of the cake and a transaction from the bank, despite not having a receipt. This is a quick situation to fix with issuing a refund and apology, but that has not happened thus far. Our family has consistently used Paris Baguette at various locations for special events and have always been satisfied with the products that we have received. More training perhaps is needed and how to handle a customer who is dissatisfied with the product and also in how to rectify situations moving forward.

Whoops! This is an overdue review from December…read more Xela Pan Cafe is a Guatemalan restaurant/bakery/convenience store on Buford Hwy in Doraville. Just a quick warning that, depending on which employee helps customers, there may be a slight issue with their understanding of English. They absolutely speak and understand Spanish. Xela Pan Cafe is in a small strip mall that is next to the strip mall where Kung Fu Tea is located. There is limited parking in front of the storefronts. This small business is made up of a restaurant, a bakery and a convenience store all run by the same employees. The convenience store sells a lot of seemingly random items, just about all in glass display cases. I noticed a lot of things to help with digestion and upset stomach, and hoped that this wasn't an indication of their food (Thankfully, it turned out that it wasn't!). The bakery items were in a separate area of display cases, but customers are free to self-serve themselves by using a tray to place whatever they choose, using either tongs or disposable gloves (I can't remember which they use) to take the items out of the cases. R and I came here for breakfast on a Sunday morning just before 9 am. There is an order counter, but that's for customers who are ordering items to go. Once the employees found out that we were going to eat breakfast inside the restaurant, we were told to seat ourselves and an employee would be by soon with menus. The restaurant area contains mostly booths, with some tables and chairs in an area between the order counter, convenience store and bakery areas. A very helpful and knowledgeable server came by our table, bringing a couple of glasses of water and menus. For a small restaurant, there were many items on the menu. We both ordered the scrambled eggs, rice, black beans, plantains and cheese. We didn't wait very long, in spite of other customers lined up at the counter to order takeout meals. The scrambled eggs with tomato and onion in them tasted a little bland, but I dressed it up with some bottled red hot sauce that was on the table. The plain tasting white rice, which had peas, carrots and corn in it, was pressed into a heart shape. The black beans in its watery sauce were very good. The plantains were cooked to a perfect firmness, and had a perfectly matching natural sweetness to them. The small block of slightly salty cheese also had a nice firmness to it. The price for each meal was very reasonable. Overall, this was a good dining experience.
