One thing I want to point out is that if you when they first open, most bakery items aren't out and ready for selling yet! However they do still have a decent selection. I got one of their cream filled croissants which was super delicious! The cream wasn't too sweet (which was perfect because there's a good amount of cream inside) and the croissant was so flaky. The iced coffee was also really good. It does run sweet, but definitely not as sweet as a Vietnamese iced coffee would be. read more

They still has a great selection of treats even though it was later in the day (around 5:30). The ham and cheese croissant was great! I enjoyed the red velvet filled spiral croissant as well but it was a little crispier than I prefer. The brown sugar oat milk latte was excellent. There was lots of seating available and the music wasn't too loud. The staff were all very kind. I will be back! read more

I was not expecting this place to be so packed on a Friday night! Not that I came here for food, but they had trays of pastries and cookies and cakes in the fridge behind the counter to enjoy. I ended up getting an Olympics themed cookie to enjoy with my cappuccino. For 2 drinks and a cookie, the total ended up being $16 including tip. This definitely beats coffee shops in the city price wise. read more

White Windmill Bakery & Cafe - So cute! But I'm assuming is probably a limited time only item. - Bakeries Near Me - Doraville, Georgia

Great selection and vibe, if a little bit pricey. The outdoor seating area was clean and well maintained with a good amount of shade. I got the mango bingsu which was good, although the portion size was small for the $7 price. Typically when I order bingsu it comes in a full bowl rather than a cup. Lavender latte was just alright, but it may have been better hot. When I come back I'll be sure to try more of their pre-made baked goods and desserts. read more

I came here after having my friend recommend it nonstop. The cafe is very cute and comfortable with free wi-fi, plenty of parking, and lots of sweet carbs to munch on while you're there. So far, I only had their corn bread/scone that was slightly sweet and crumbly. I easily spent a few hours here and am already making plans to come again. Staff were friendly and helpful with smiles on their faces. read more

I was just passing through on 285 looking for a quick coffee stop. I had no idea the treat I was in for. Well, I had an idea when I pulled up and the lot was full at 9:30 on a Sunday. It's a bit of a coffee shop and market/bakery in one. When you walk in it's slightly overwhelming and the line makes you feel the need to grab something quick and jump in line. You can do that, but you'll probably end up like me, realizing the line moves super fast and getting back in line a 2nd time after taking the proper time to browse and make an adequate selection. We tried several lattes, including the pistachio latte, strawberry matcha latte, and brown sugar oat latte, and all were fantastic. We also tried the mango smoothies which were a hit with the kids. They have morning breakfast sandwiches made to order and the bacon eggs and cheese on the croissant was by far the favorite. So good! We also go a variety of pastries to snack on at the ball field today. It's a busy shop, but not at all claustrophobic. However with the nice weather, we ate outside on the patio, which was a bit more relaxing. We will definitely be back on our next trip through. read more

This bakery and cafe offers free Wi-Fi and a wide selection of cakes, cookies, pastries, and bread. Their menu also features teas, lattes, and sandwiches. The staff mentioned that they restock their pastries once a day (first come first served) ensuring that each item is fresh and made to order. I highly recommend the blueberry cheesecake, mango macaroon and blueberry fresh cream cake. Both were incredibly moist and freshly baked. read more

I love coming to this bakery! It is so cozy with such a lovely vibe. The baked goods are so good. My go-tos are always the cream croissant and the croque monsieur. I have tried the strawberry pastry which is also good as well as the curry puff. Everything is fresh and well made. Great place to come for a cup of coffee and sweets and read a book/hang out to study for a bit. It's a bit far for me but very worth it. read more

This spot is truly a hidden gem. The wife and I were leaving a dinner location down the street and decided to pull in to the white windmill and have dessert. The smell of coffee greets you as soon as you enter the building and the cakes and pies and assorted muffins and breads will send you into goodness overload. I went with the Oreo cookie cheesecake and the wife had the chocolate gnash cake both were rich and tasty. This is our new go to....! read more

The tropical tea was BAD you could barely taste the fruit and the after taste was like fluoride. The pastries soft but they were cold and bland. They don't warm them up when you buy them so you're just eating pastries that have been sitting on a shelf in an air conditioned room all day. The apple juice was really good but it's bought from a different company so the cafe had nothing to do with the taste. I will say, the cafe is very nice design wise and the cakes looked immaculate (even though I didn't try any). And it's nice that they have outlets and free wifi. read more

In an effort to fix my coffee craving after 8 p.m., I found White Windmill via Yelp! Upon arrival, I was shocked to see so many cars in the parking lot. I had no idea that so many others wanted a nice beverage so late at night. Never having been here before, I was pleased to walk into a surprisingly full cafe of all sorts of breads and pastries. All the customers appeared happy and anxious about the bread goods. I was able to order a lavender latte and waited off to the side. The cafe was nice and clean and the staff was nice when taking my order and delivering a good latte. Once I finished ordering, the line grew longer and longer (not a bad sign for so late in the evening). The most difficult thing for me was getting to the location. Some construction was going on in the front of the main road, making it difficult to park in their parking lot. I drove around twice to get in (did not want to stop or delay normal traffic patterns for my cup of coffee), but it was not the end of the world!!! If you're ever in the area and looking for a great cup of coffee, give them a try. I did not try the bread or sweet treats, but from the number of others ordering them and grabbing some to-go, I would think they are probably pretty good as well. read more

Come for the baked goods, not the café. Recently visited for a bubble tea and a sweet treat. We ordered a Thai Bubble Tea (half sweet), White Chocolate Latte Iced Blended, and a Blueberry Scone. The blueberry scone was absolutely delicious. It tasted as if they whipped cream cheese into the pastry. It was something I've never tasted before and I loved it. The drinks were another story. The Thai Bubble Tea was sweetened perfectly (not too much, not to little)...the problems were that I received it blended and I did not order a blended frappe style drink. And the bubbles...the regular boba...they were hard and partially crunchy. These weren't crystal boba...they were supposed to regular boba, they just weren't prepared correctly. The White Chocolate Latte Iced Blended we ordered...they didn't put any espresso into it. It was literally a blended white chocolate milk. Utterly disappointing. read more

Fresh delicious and warm atmosphere. Would recommend for anyone curious about Korean bakeries and or who love breakfast goodies.

Most definitely has the largest selections of bread and treats that I've seen are in a bakery. This is a true bakery, but I came for the bacon egg and cheese on brioche and a smoothie seems a bit pricey, but I mean it looks delicious so hopefully taste is worth.it read more

We needed a spot to get some work done on a Sunday afternoon, so we pulled into White Windmill. Whatever you imagine when you think of 'cafe vibes,' I'm pretty sure you'll find it here. There are telltale aromas of caffeine and baked goods wafting in the air, chill music in the background, and the just-right din of other customers that get you into productivity mode (of course, the free wifi helps to that end too). There are baked goods galore, with cakes (whole and sliced) and macarons sitting enticingly in the fridge. There were even a few gluten-free options available, though many of them seemed to be sold out by the afternoon. There's a similar profusion of drink offerings, many of which are offered both iced and hot. I was curious about quite a few unique ones, like rose and charcoal. But with the lines so long behind me, it felt hard to ask too many questions (though the cashier seemed sweet enough to entertain all the ones I asked), so I settled on a lavender latte while my husband got the iced chai. With it, we also nabbed a cheesecake slice. We received the cake right away, but given a vibrating pager to let us know when our drinks were ready. All of it was delicious, though everything seemed to hit a little harder on the sugary scale than I would have preferred - including the drinks, which come pre-sweetened. There's a pretty wide seating area, with tables, high tables, and a long communal table. The space was packed and we had to seat ourselves at a bigger table with strangers, but I appreciated that the noise level never got too loud or distracting. read more

I can't believe how ridiculous the service is at this place. You got no updates on your orders, I've waited roughly about 10 mins for the smoothie when everything else I've ordered was ready. There's only a barista working on his espresso machine, no one was at the cashier while the other lady was waiting in line to check out for like 5 mins. Since no one to update me on my drinks (even with the beeping thing they gave you to notify) , I had to walk to the sandwich bar to check. There was no one at the sandwich bar either, I went to the kitchen saw the smoothie was ready and been sitting there. Then I asked the girls in the kitchen if it was okay for me to take it, they said yes. I just don't really get that if we're not getting updated on our orders, why we receive the beeping devices? Smh. read more

I cannot quite understand the specialty or draw of this cafe. Its rather crowded, noisy, and the drinks and pastries are run of the mill. On my second visit, I was met with some less than polite servers. Rather abrupt and rude in asking for my order. Not one to hold up the line, and there was no line , I place my order with the feeling that they just wanted me out of the way. Sorta like.. get yer shite and get out.. I certainly wasn't one to lounge and mill about so we left after the quick bite and drink. read more

Overall a decent cafe spot to study or meet up on Buford Highway. Lots of pastry selection. Drink menu could use some improvement, maybe add some fun or Asian drinks such as sesame latte or ube latte. I frequent this place a lot and one other downside is that I always leave the cafe smelling like food - I think it's due to their open kitchen on a side of the cafe. Would consider moving it to the back. read more

They have some delicious breakfast sandwiches. I really wanted to try the bulgogi sandwich but they only serve it for lunch. The pecan cookies that came with the sandwiches were so good we hit up the bakery for more. They have all sorts of fun bakery items. My wife loved the coconut balls, fluffy and cakey and not too sweet. I tried the oatmeal raisin cookie balls and they were terrible. Rock hard, bitter, childhood ruined, minus one star! We found we had love-it-or-hate-it extremes with some of the other treats we picked up. It was either the best or the worst. read more

We always stopped by when we visit Georgia, we Florida Orlando area has many bakeries...but this place is the best!

This place has a wonderful vibe. The first time I came here with friends I knew I w anted to come back to study. They offer many different Korean pastries and desserts here as well as the coffee. I ordered an Iced Vanilla Latte with Oat-milk (Around $8). So, this coffee is definitely coffee. It is not very sweet at all. I personally don't mind but I was not expecting that, I usually enjoy slightly sweetened coffee. However, the coffee flavor had a lot of depth. I also tried the Sweet Potato Cake. This was absolutely delicious. I have never had it before and it such a wonderful idea. It also looks so cute. This great has a great classy ambience and I will definitely come back next time I'm close by. read more

Been here 2x. The green tea was crazy bitter. I don't think it's crazy for me to hope a cafe could do a decent iced tea. They were able to ice it unlike the mental gymnastics Sweet Hut tried to overcome, but the water temp was too hot and bag left in too long. I wouldn't care if it wasn't barely consumable. 50/50 I'd be choosing between that again or a shot of Everclear. The caramel frappe was heavy af on vanilla and caramel with no whipped cream. Cake was pretty nice fortunately and I like how much cleaner it is than other cafes in the area. read more

This place never disappoints! It can be overwhelming at first, with so many options and especially if it's crowded. But don't let that intimidate you. There are plenty of seats inside (with some outside). The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is warm and bright. Grab a basket and walk around, making sure to look at everything. I always go with my gut and pick what looks good. The croissants are always delicious, whether plain or filled. The coffee is yummy too, from plain to lattes to espressos. The only thing I disliked was the bacon, egg and cheese sandwich - not because it was bad but wasn't to my taste. The bacon tasted sweet (maybe maple bacon?) and I don't care for that flavor profile. Whenever I'm on this side of town I make it a point to visit. read more

I was in the area and looking for breakfast. Note that breakfast ends at 10:30. Lunch starts at 11 am and any hot sandwiches orders end at 2:30 pm. I missed breakfast but hung around to order a sandwich and drank my coffee while I waited. They had some additional syrups for rose and lavender lattes. I appreciate the floral notes in my coffee. They have lots of pastry items and bread for sale. Additionally there are cakes for sale. There is ample seating to eat in. I really liked this place and will definitely come back. read more

Walking into this cafe whisks you away to an unknown and wonderfully aesthetic land! I don't even know how to describe the decorations, but I'm in love with it. There are pastries EVERYWHERE- I mean, I swear nearly every kind you could ever think of or want. And they all look fantastic and top bar. I got one of their panini sandwiches, can't remember exactly which was it was most delicious and satisfying. The boba drink I got was green apple flavored and I loved it because it wasn't too sweet so overall it was a good balance. So yep, this is a pretty neat place- and a great space to get some homework or work done or just hang out and all that. Highly rec! read more

I ordered the White Windmill Classic Salad to go, which is supposed to include chicken salad, tomatoes, bell peppers, olives, cucumbers, and cheddar. However, when I got home and opened the container, all I found was lettuce and chicken, barely any cucumbers, and a piece of a bell pepper--no dressing, no cheese, no tomatoes no olives. Really disappointing, especially since I was expecting a full salad like was written on the menu. Quality control needs improvement. read more

A lot has changed since my last review, except for the high quality of food and service! They serve sandwich/lunch items now and greatly expanded their drink menu. Coffee was really good, way better than Starbucks type of places. And they got novelty favors like rose latte. All bakery items are still top quality. Prices have gone up significantly but not more than other stuff/places in the last couple of years. I stop by whenever I can. read more

Somewhat vegan friendly, but the staff were very knowledgeable when asked about their vegan options. Sadly, there's not many options for dairy-free drinks and only one bakery item. The drink I got was good and the atmosphere was neat, and the staff were helpful. However, I really can't recommend this place for anyone who cannot have dairy. Just not enough options. read more

White Windmill is my go-to place for 2 things: Cake and Pastries. Their Strawberry Fresh Cream cakes are my F A V O R I T E. The mocha cakes are really yummy too. The cake is very moist and the cream is light. Not too sweet at all. I'm not a tea fan so for all my fellow tea-haters, I didn't taste tea at all. If there is, it was very light and not noticeable. A-ok place to study. Although it's a pretty ideal spot, this location gets pretty noisy when groups of people show up. Service: OK. The place stays pretty neat and clean. The service is usually good, but sometimes ehh.
