I had a really enjoyable first experience here with my husband and our mothers. This place had been on my list for a while, and we finally made it in last week. As an important tip, don't forget to register your parking! The ambiance is very peaceful and clean. It's a quiet little spot to relax in and really take in the scents and tastes of your selected items. The staff behind the counter were polite and moved quickly. I got a Pain au Chocolate with a Decaf Caramel Latte, my mother got a Cappuccino with a plain Butter Croissant, and my husband and his mother each got Espressos. Unfortunately for my mother, they did not have butter or jam for her croissant. However, they were able to warm it up for her. In retrospect, I should have asked for mine to be warmed as well. My mother loved the flakiness of her croissant, and complimented it several times. My pain au chocolate was also flaky and satisfying, presented beautifully. I do feel, personally, it was slightly more of a looker than a taster... but I did enjoy it! All of our drinks tasted nice quality. I would love to come back to try their desserts next time. They look very aesthetically pleasing/"instagram-worthy.". One of my friends has been dying to come here, so we will probably be back together soon!
Finally got to visit this Instagram perfect spot. Cute modern cafe in Chamblee! Google Maps leads you to the parking garage where you can get up to 5 hours of free parking (scan the QR code in the garage, enter in your car info for free 30 min, then go to the cafe to scan another QR code for additional free hours). They have such adorable desserts. I got the coffee and raspberry chocolate mousse. It was very creamy and super sweet. I preferred the appearance more than the taste unfortunately. I ordered the passion fruit ade and that was really delicious. I do want to go back to try their coffee, but their high prices are a con.
A friend sent me a social media post of this spot and we decided to check it out- we were influenced! The cafe has a great location! It's easy to find with GPS, and there is an attached garage. It does appear that an extra step needs to be taken to secure free parking based on the signage in the cafe. The atmosphere is stunning! Is modern, yet simple. The cafe is pleasing to the eye and honestly I think you have to see it in person to fully appreciate it. The menu is short and to the point. They offer various pastries and desserts, coffee and tea. There are no macro nutrient food options. This spot is for treats only ! I ordered a cappuccino with oat milk and a berry pastry. My friend, who was celebrating her born day ordered the strawberry matcha and the coffee dessert. The total for two drinks, and 2 pastries was a little over $40!! This spot is like the Erewhon Market of cafes!!!!! I have NEVER paid this much at a coffee shop for 2 people!!! The staff were ok. The service was not stellar by any means, but it also was not bad- just average. However, for the prices I expect STELLAR!!! The items were prepared quickly and we were able to find seating without an issue. I will say it was starting to get crowded as we were leaving and I can see seating being an issue. My cappuccino was tasty, it does appear that they are using quality beans. -- I just wish there was more of it! It looked like a baby size serving. I do understand that a traditional cappuccino is between 5-6 oz, but this one appeared to be more like 4oz. I also think for $6 the size should be bigger. The berry danish was nothing to write home about. It was a danish! I did try my friend coffee dessert. This was the most expensive item at $14! I think you are paying for the artisanal aspect! The taste, not super sweet which I appreciate, but again, just not memorable. For $14 I want to be dreaming about this! My friend said that her matcha was ok. She is not a matcha drinker so I would not expect her to give rave reviews. Overall--- beautiful space, and beautiful desserts that are reflected in the prices . If that is the vibe you are seeking - check it out!
Tried the strawberry matcha with oat milk. The strawberry tastes like it's made in house, which I liked. The matcha has a mild taste but still present. Overall, it's a solid matcha and the café is really pretty with a nice atmosphere. Price is on the higher end.
Cute place. I had the strawberry matcha with oat milk I believe and it was great but you gotta shake it. Even though I love the layers it's gross if you don't mix it up lol. They present really well and the coffee prices are a bit higher than average. However the sweet treats were adorable but ridiculously overpriced! I think it was close to $20 per treat. At that rate you're paying for artwork.
We were attending an event nearly and wanted to have a quick coffee break. Ecstatic to found out that Laylo was a walking distance away. It is located in the main floor of a residential building. It has its own parking space. Follow the instruction and then upon entering Laylo, you will be able to extend your parking time up to 5 hours. Very good latte. My top 4 in Atlanta. I wasn't in the mood for a sweet dessert, so I chose one of the pastry instead. It wasn't overly sweet nor feel heavy. I'd definitely come back again to try other offerings. Oh - super friendly staffs and there're quite a few different sitting areas.
This Korean-inspired cafe has modern vibes and intricately handcrafted desserts. I loved everything that I tried flavor-wise, and their signature mocha was also delicious as well. Be prepared to pay more than your average coffee/dessert shop. They also serve cakes, which of course look too beautiful to eat. Service was great and drinks were made in a timely manner. Parking is located in the adjacent parking deck, which is free for the public, just need to scan the QR code and enter your license plate number.
Visiting from out of town and i'm glad i found this gem, ambience is open, calming and inviting plenty of natural lighting, staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Fun fact; they happen to roast there own coffee beans and make their own pastries! (BTW they are the most beautiful pastries I've ever seen!!) I end up trying the pecan espresso pastry, aesthetically pleasing, and worth every penny. Tasted very light and airy not overpowering in the espresso or pecan flavor. I also got their vanilla almond milk latte made to perfection. You can tell that they take the time when making their coffee. So if you're visiting or just a local HIGHLY RECOMMEND trying this place out!
Very cute aesthetic cafe. The traditional pastries like croissants & muffins and drink items are reasonable priced. But the specialty pastries although they are so cute, maybe even too cute to eat, they are in the higher price ranges of $12-$15. The café does get busy on like a Saturday morning so plan accordingly to make sure you get a seat for your first visit experience.
Came across this place on Facebook for their pre-grand opening. Very spacious spot. It was busy, but it did not feel overbearing. The staff was extemely friendly. Even for the area, I feel like the drinks and food were affordable. The Strawberry matcha was not just a picture perfect drink, it tasted really good! The pastries were absolutely divine! The overall experience made for a great work date too. One of the best cafes I have been to in a while.
I tried the earl grey mousse cake, the new strawberry lime yuzu tart, and hot matcha latte. I enjoyed the earl grey, and found the tart to be fine. The matcha latte was good, earthy and umami, but this is the most I've spent at a cafe for drink and a few pastries. I appreciate the intricacy of the desserts, but don't think I'll come often as there's many other cafes around the area that offer similar items at a lower price point. The baristas were friendly and there wasn't much of a wait for our drinks, and you buss your own dinnerware when you leave. The cafe itself is very aesthetic and modern, with lime-washed walls and wooden accents, and seems to be a popular spot to camp out and get work done. I believe they've added a QR code for their parking validation as there's a lot more traffic in this area now, but we went on a Friday morning and were able to grab a parking spot and a table for two.
Laylo Cafe is a modern cafe selling drinks and pastries. The interior is very sleek, but seating can be hard to find as it is a fairly new cafe with lots of customers coming in and out. They are known for their knitted mousse cakes, which at times run out for a bit. The service was good when I went. We got our cakes right on the spot. There is a retail parking garage next door which allows up to 5 hours of free parking after scanning the QR code inside the cafe. I split the Raspberry Chocolate and Coffee knitted mousse cakes with two other friends to lower costs. The knitted mousse cakes are based off of a Korean cafe, which means that they are not too sweet. The Raspberry Chocolate was in the shape of a yarn ball which was really cute. It tasted of dark chocolate and a raspberry sorbet or cream of sorts in the middle which made it both a sweet and tart dessert. I liked that the most out of the two cakes we got as the Coffee, which was supposed to have a caramel coffee mousse, tasted way too light. I definitely give props to the care they put in designing the knitted mousse cakes because they look incredible. However, the taste was a bit lackluster for my American taste palate, haha. Also, everything is kind of expensive... $12 to $15 for the knitted mousse cakes and around $7 to $10 for drinks, all of which were fairly small. I think that this place would be great a study spot or a chill hangout place to catch up with friends. But I think it is definitely overhyped in terms of the drinks and food (all being very adorable and creative). It is more of an aesthetic spot than a dine-in spot, in my opinion. I would check it out for the vibes, but it would not be in my rotation of cafes to go to. I would give it a 2.5/5 stars if I could.
Amazing coffee and pastries. Easy parking in the attached parking deck. Their house drip is strong. If you stay and drink, you get a free refill. The black matcha croissant was so good. The matcha cream was so flavorful without being too sweet The earl grey sweater pastry was also amazing. One of the best I've ever had. Can't wait to try their other pastries.

My wife and I came here for dessert after her birthday lunch. It's not my kind of place, but definitely hers. She ordered 3 of the confections and a black coffee, and she enjoyed all of them. I had a taste. $45, so not cheap. Very clean cafe and restrooms. Free parking in the attached apartment garage. read more
Laylo is a very cute and popular cafe with yummy treats, although taking off a star just because it's EXPENSIVE! it's always busy here so make sure you either get in early or are ok potentially waiting around for a table to open. They have very intricate and adorable cakes as well as regular pastries. I got the matcha latte to drink and I share the chocolate raspberry cake with my fiance. Both were really good and I'd definitely come back to try more cakes, but I might save the drinks for a different spot where it's a bit cheaper. read more

TL;DR -- Laylo Coffee Shop is a sleek, modern spot with great vibes and plenty of space, but the drinks didn't quite hit the mark for us. The Earl Grey Mousse Cake was a nice treat, and the atmosphere makes it a solid hangout spot -- just don't come for the coffee. The space itself is genuinely impressive. Great lighting, simple and modern decor, and enough seating that you're not fighting strangers for a table -- rare for a spot this popular. It's still packed on weekends, but it doesn't feel cramped, which is a win. If you're looking for a place to catch up with friends or hang out for a few hours, this checks the box easily. They seem to have an on-site roaster, which got our hopes up -- but honestly, the drinks were a miss for us. Maybe we ordered the wrong thing, but it didn't leave us wanting to come back for another round. The food fared a little better. We tried the Earl Grey Mousse Cake, which was cute and tasty, though the blueberry jam inside pushed it into pretty-sweet territory. Worth a try if you've got a sweet tooth. One practical heads-up: parking is in the same building, but make sure you scan the QR code inside the store, or you'll have to go in for an extension. Congratulations to those that were able to figure out parking and actually try the desserts here at this new spot. Took me almost an hour in traffic from Duluth to get here. I arrived on a Thursday at 10:30am, but the parking garage for retail was about 95% full. Weekends when people are actually off work must be a nightmare. Then, I had to walk around the entire building uphill to find the shop. Which took another 15 minutes. Why is no one mentioning this issue? Are they all paid reviews? Then, when I arrive they are packed and have NO DESSERTS, no food all, see photo. Understand they are in soft opening, so will try back later. Added photos to help with parking situation... Mainly, just want to let you know to use the "RETAIL PARKING" packed levels at Manor Apartments. Then, do not use stairs and exit front side of the building to find this business streetside. Yes, cars will try to run you over at high speed in the garage, so just be careful. If you use proper exits, it will take you to the back of the building and walk another 15 minutes around the entire building uphill. Good luck and enjoy! read more

Had the pleasure of meeting a friend at Laylo today, and it was such a lovely experience. Before jumping into the food and vibes, let's talk parking--because that always matters. GPS will route you directly into the parking deck; you'll want to park on the lower retail level. Upon arrival, scan the QR code to register your car, and once inside, there's another QR code that extends your parking for up to five hours, which is a huge plus. Now for the ambiance--very chic and calming. The space offers a variety of seating options, perfect for both intimate meet-ups and larger groups. I was immediately drawn to the glass-filled shelving showcasing a few bakery selections. I opted for the glazed croissant paired with an iced latte with caramel drizzle, and let me tell you--the latte was amazing down to the very last drop. My friend also thoroughly enjoyed her strawberry iced matcha. This was my first visit, but it definitely won't be my last. A great spot for conversation, coffee, and a calm reset. read more
I mean the hype is definitely real this place is one a kind (for Atlanta) and totally adorable. But unfortunately the overall experience really was dampened. I came in on a Friday at 8:00am and there was minimal wait but unfortunately they had no matcha and the workers let me know it would be at least another week until it was back? That feels a little crazy... As for the pastries these are definitely worth the visit! The mousse cake creations are absolutely divine. I got the coffee sweater cake... it reminded us a lot of a tiramisu and was yummy but unfortunately this is a warning no one gave us DO NOT TAKE ANYTHING TO GO!!! This cake could not even last the 15 minute transport back to the house without turning into a melty mess. Super disappointing especially with all precautions taken to secure it. The dirty pan au chocolat was yummy just nothing super special I should've gotten a different/ more unique pastry. And it was very messy. Parking is super convenient the deck is right next door and free. I wish I could've tried the matcha and had a better overall experience but everyone should try it and DINE IN STORE !! read more
For starters parking was free! This is a rarity when an establishment is attached to a living community. Upon entering the establishment, I immediately realized how clean and aesthetically pleasing it was. When I arrived, there was no line and more than enough tables available for you to sit and enjoy your coffee and pastries. The customer service here was exceptional. I was informed about the products, and offered friendly energy/vibes from each, and every person that works here. While waiting for my to go order, I was offered free water and to go utensils that were handed to me directly by the staff. My husband and I love a good coffee. He found Laylo cafe browsing social media. We got up early to catch Laylo when it first opened. The staff greeted us immediately upon walking in. They offered free samples of the jalapeño cheese Croissant. It was so good that's I ordered. Hubby ordered the famous raspberry chocolate mousse and the sausage croissant. We also got a cappuccino and matcha latte with monk fruit and almond milk. The space is cozy, warm, full of light and perfect for a first date. I highly recommend! read more

I came across this coffee shop while I was in the area, because my car was getting some work done and I had a loaner car and didn't want to come all the way back home. I wanted to stay in that area. This place is super cute. It's very spacious, and the pastries looked so cute and the 1 I had actually tasted good. I'm not a Matcha girl so I can't really tell you how the Matcha was, but for the people who did get it, it def. looked pretty good, so maybe next time I will try their strawberry Matcha. The aesthetics were so lovely and the customer service was definitely a 10/10. The only con, because a lot of people were in there working on their laptops I think the chairs should have been more comfortable.. read more
Came here on a weekend and the wait was something to be expected. There is parking in the retail parking spots of the apartment complex but it definitely got very busy as it's directly in front of a traffic light too-so it got backed up fast. The line was not too long when I came in but very very slow to move. I think I waited around 35 minutes with maybe five people in front of me. Service was okay, the display shelf had no cakes left except for one pineapple lime so I asked if there was any cakes and she sighed and said yes it'll take like 10 minutes. So I ordered the earl grey cake and a vanilla latte. The latte was pretty good. They ran out of matcha but the price of the matcha was definitely steep. It was $9!! The cake was $14. Was it worth $14? Not sure lol. I thought it was okay. The earl grey flavor was not as strong as I thought it would be and the bottom was stale. I thought the service was kinda rude as well. The line up situation was so confusing, and the employee was not nice when directing traffic. Since this was an aesthetically pleasing place, many were taking pictures and I could hear her mutter "better not get me in the picture." Hopefully this spot improved because the interior is very pretty and seems like a great catch up spot with friends. But the wait and price is not very justified. read more

Laylo is a VERY rare gem within the Atlanta landscape, meritous of even more than a perfect score for its attention to detail. Overpriced and overhyped. Pastries were very pretty to look at but didn't taste half as good as they looked. The drinks were too pricey for the size they gave, I literally finished my drink by the time I got back to my car on my to go order. Influencers sure did oversell this place bc I definitely would not go again. read more
This new cafe brings a whole new aesthetic to Atlanta. The prices are definitely higher than other places. We wanted to try it out at least one time. The desserts looked cute, but not at the cost of paying over $10 for a small tart. But again, just this once right? The strawberry matcha was also pricey compared to other cafes. Perfect cafe for coffee. I ordered the iced vanilla latte with oat milk. The coffee was very good! The decor was sleek and modern. I loved the architecture and design. They have plenty of seating and there is a parking garage attached. The staff were nice and gave great service. read more
Cute little dessert cafe in Chamblee. The mini desserts are about $15 each but definitely worth it. The decor is lovely and the staff is really nice. I was fortunate that it wasnt so busy when I arrived. So I easily found parking and a seat to dine inside. I can't wait for them to expand their hours so I can come here to work. read more

Extremely hyped and crowed, they ran out of most of the pastries as soon as we finished ordering and there were too many people behind us in the line. They have good amount of seating but since it was crowded some people had to walk out with their coffee and pastries. Despite the rush the staff kept it going fast. It is chic and minimalist. Not kid friendly, good for dates and a couple of friends. The star of the show are their pastries, very aesthetic and cute. They do not stand out though, their coffee is also mediocre. I would not go here again but worth one try. The parking is also tight here. Ince the garage is full you will be forced to park in the Walmart parking lot across the street and walk. read more
Interesting space with beautiful desserts. Drinks were okay, service was relatively fast given the volume of customers. The raspberry yarn ball was pretty good and so was the matcha ribbon. They werent mind blowing but solid desserts with excellent soft texture. read more
Love the space, but hate the price! Although the space is super cute and there's plenty of outlets and seating to get some work done, the drink and cake I bought ran me ~$25! The matcha was a brilliant green color, but after mixing there was almost no flavor, not what I would expect from an almost $10 drink. The cake was super cute, but sooooo tiny for almost $14. Service was great and parking was free, but I just don't think the prices here are justified. read more
The location is vey cute and aesthetically pleasing. There is retail parking but it can fill up quickly so it's best to go in the morning or during the week. The customer service was good. I went twice. One day they only had croissants and the second time they had everything on the menu. The chocolate croissants and raspberry dessert were good! It got very busy around 1pm and a little overcrowded. It's definitely more on the pricier side but I think it's a place you should definitely visit at least once. read more

I can almost guarantee you that you didn't come here because you randomly saw it. You were on social media and seen this place. I can tell you that this place is legit only for the experience. Everything's expensive. No cash just card only. The desserts aren't as good as they look. The strawberry matcha is nice though coming from someone who really dislikes matcha. read more
