We kept it simple and just ordered a drip coffee and cold brew, but both were smooth with good flavor. The place has a friendly, community vibe, especially since it is located within a newly built residential community. It's also very dog friendly, with little free "woofles" available for your pup. Outdoor seating is nice and shaded with umbrellas.
I had a lovely experience at Druthers last week! Stopped here before some work stuff in the area and it's such a cute little cafe with a very sweet lovely employee :') I asked for some sweet drink recommendations and a savory food item, and she directed me to the banana bread latte and the avocado pear waffle. Both were perfect! Amazing flavors and just the right amount of filling that I needed! It's a very nice ambiance both inside and outside with plenty of seating in the warm sunshine.
I tried the banana pudding latte with oat milk. Wish I asked for a cold foam, but it was good. Quick, friendly service. Love that there is a play area outside. The plain waffle was so warm and fresh! I can't wait to go back!!
Cute lil spot. Seems like they have lot regulars so it gave off a like local warm atmosphere. The design is minimalist mixed with modern. Loved bright pops of colors and cute knick knacks/trinkets! The coffee was great and loved the unique options they had. The sandwich was FIRE !! The cheese blend is made in house with a slight kick to it and all ingredients on the sandwich are sourced locally! Owner is super chill and friendly, told me a lil about the business and made relaxed conversation with customers coming in. Located in a neighborhood/complex so lots of family's come by and there is plenty of parking and outdoor seating.
Cute little spot! Not much seating and very very tiny. The coffee was great! Not too sweet but that okay with me, it's how I like my coffee. The sausage in the sausage breakfast sandwich is made from scratch with really surprised me and it was delicious! It was very filling and little too heavy though. Now the turkey pesto was the star of the show!! The bread was perfect, the flavor was perfect it was AMAZING. Now the only con is the pricing. The one latte and breakfast sandwich came out of 25$! That to me is doing a little too much. I don't think it was complete 25$ worth but it also wasn't bad I think the sandwich should have been MAX 11$. Even that's pushing it though. The barista or whoever was working on as alright. He wasn't super welcoming but he also wasn't rude or cold. Just kinda there. Some regulars came in afterwards and he was having great conversation with them and was more lively. Overall not a bad experience. Probably wouldn't drive all the way out here for it but would stop by if in the area.
Was in the area and decided to give this cute little shop a try. Staff was friendly and food/drinks were delicious.
To keep this skirt and sweet, Druthers is a new essential in my cafe Rolodex! About the food: the waffles are all gluten free, so one can get creative. During this first visit, my party and I ordered the BLT Waffle and the Seasonal Fruit Waffle. What could've been a hiccup, kitchen staff let us know they were out of BLT ingredients, so they suggested adjustments to the first order. The alternative was an essentially an open face waffle with breakfast sandwich ingredients - next level! I can't wait to go back.
This spot in is a gem. It's tucked into the neighborhood surrounding Sutter Park. If you're not looking for it you're not going to stumble onto it. But it's worth a visit. The owner keeps the offerings simple by design, but the ingredients / small details they pay attention to are what set them apart. Waffles, breakfast sandwiches, and coffee... their coffee is delicious. I travel often, snd enjoy local coffee shops. Just a personal preference but I more often enjoy less, like a macchiato or cortado. No flavors. Sometimes a little sweetener. However. I tried Druthers latte on Thanksgiving morning, it was complimented with a small amount of a seasonal squash they've been using with their breakfast offerings and I was blown away. I don't prefer super sweet, added flavors. This was neither. It was just a hint of flavor, and just enough sweetness, and the coffee was good. I later tried their chicory sweetened latte and it was delicious. They also have sweet tea in the summer. Takes me back to my childhood in Virginia. They also have a barista that is very good at her craft. I tried a cappuccino this morning with a little chicory. Delicious. They won't have every flavor or every drink some coffee spots may offer. That's not their focus. Smaller menu with the offering they have being spot on. Highly recommend. I will repeat.
The breakfast sandwich was delicious and I enjoyed the cinnamon cake latte. I'll be back to try more food and drinks. Service was very friendly. I like sitting outside here but they have indoor seating as well.
The waffles were really good, and the s'mores latte was delicious. The space itself isn't very big, and the bathroom is located in the back of the store, but there is outdoor seating, which is a cool touch. What truly made this place amazing, though, was the people -- everyone there was incredibly kind and welcoming. The staff and atmosphere were genuinely some of the nicest I've experienced, which made the visit super enjoyable.
Omg Druther's is soooo good I've had it once and have been meaning to go back. I had gotten their fall menu apple spice late and their sweet potato waffle and it was absolutely delicious. The service was phenomenal it was one guy and he made us feel at home. It was a rainy day when I went the ambiance is super cozy.

Super underrated coffee place. Coffee is excellent. And the freshly made waffles!! Omg! They are not only delicious they are also dietary restrictions friendly. The plain waffles base is vegan and gluten free. They also have woof waffles for your pups, so cute. Cozy and homey place with amazing coffee and waffles! read more

For coffees my bf got a mocha and i got a cold brew with oat milk. They added the perfect amount of milk and my bf said his drink was one of the best mocha he's ever had. They came out with new waffles too and my bf tried their avocado one. This is 11/10 if you're talking about an upgraded avocado toast. Usually I find a lot of places avocado toast to be overpriced for what it is but this is special . I really appreciate that it's a mashed avocado and had the perfect amount of spices and pickled veggies so that's not just bland avocado toast. Druthers coffee sits in a cute neighborhood serving coffee beans from Camellia coffee, I've had Camellias at their own location in comparison to Druthers, and the coffee here is uniquely theirs despite the same use of beans. They brew their coffee strong, and the flavors are bright to accompany their ambiance. The service is really welcoming and kind, and their sweet potato waffles are a hit! The texture is soft yet has a nice bit of resistance before biting into it. It's fluffy and moist while tasting very fresh. Hooray for a new coffee shop! I have never been in this neighborhood before and it looks like it would be a nice addition for those that live nearby. There are a couple of tables inside but you're better off at their outdoor seating with a bar top for standing & enjoying your coffee. The menu is very simple. I always like to order the specialty or seasonal drinks but they didn't have any here. I noticed they were selling Camellia coffee beans and one of the workers was wearing a Camellia shirt so maybe they're affiliated with them. My husband had a cappuccino and I just ordered an iced latte but didn't realize it was an extra charge until I noticed "sweet - 50 cents" on the menu. They also didn't ask if we wanted any type of specialty milk but I didn't see any on the menu either so I'm not sure if they have any. The prices are pretty standard but then again they're just simple coffee drinks so I'd hope they're not overpriced. The drink was creamy but nothing unique. It seems like they're known for the sweet potato waffles but when I asked the cashier, she said they wouldn't have it until next weekend. They had boxes of free donuts, I'm thinking maybe to make up for the lack of waffles. It got pretty crowded inside as people came in and out. I took up half the space and had to keep moving with my stroller and I couldn't wait outside because it was raining. The workers were all very nice and noticed she would come around to talk to people outside but didn't bother to stop at us. Seems like they've probably still got some things to work out, drinks took a bit longer and they were out of order because the people who ordered after me got their drinks first. I think normally I'd give 3 stars but I'm giving 4 stars due to it being grand opening day and giving them benefit of the doubt. I hope to come back if they have some new drinks and to try the waffles. read more
So thankful for the vegan waffle option :) The flavor was nice and different, better than a normal waffle and not too sweet and they were soft and fluffy. My husband got the ones with non-vegan toppings and liked them but didn't need as much topping as they had. I was told they have vegan creamer and oat/almond milk as well. Cute little hole in the wall. Had the BLTA waffle and it was amazing. Unfortunately it'll be leaving the menu soon since tomatoes will no longer be in season, but I can't wait to see the other waffle types when other fruits come into season. Can't be mad with that since they only use ripe/in-season products to make the waffles that much better. Came here for the first time to meet a friend for lunch. Neither of us have had it and we were both so pleased. This is by far the best waffle I have ever had in my life. I don't normally eat waffles so I ordered their savory BLT. I am not kidding these ingredients were so high quality and delicious on their own but when taking a bite of them all together was magical. I will be returning soon to show it off to my partner as it was the best BLT I have EVER had. read more

We love drutbers. But for almost $10 I would like my whole waffle... this has been like this my last two visits. I get a cappuccino and the coffee cake waffle (toppings on the side) and it's $15. I want to support them but at a minimum please make it a full waffle! read more

A group of 30+ bikers arrived at Druthers this morning for waffles and we were not disappointed! So delicious. I had the cinnamon waffle, others had the berries and cream waffles and some had peach. Smiles were everywhere! The staff was great to handle such a big crew and their service was impeccable. I highly recommend stopping by for coffee and a waffle! read more

My husband and I were in town for a work trip and after a long drive from LA were looking for a cute clean place with good coffee. Thanks to a quick search and scan of reviews we found Druthers - YAY! Delicious coffee and delicious waffles, couldn't resist trying the coffee cake cappuccino and coffee cake waffle even though was concerned they might be too sweet - they weren't! Also got the Alligator Pear which is basically avocado toast except the toast is a waffle - everything was so fresh! Grabbed a bag of their house coffee to go and look forward to trying it at home. Thank you to the owner for the friendly chat while we were there. Look forward to coming back whenever we're in the area! read more
