My family has eaten here 3x and we like it a lot. The staff is friendly, the food is prepared quick, and it's yummy. The tangerine beef is our favorite. We also like the soups, chicken lo mein, garlic beef, beef noodle soup and lettuce wraps. None of us was a fan of the orange chicken, which was too bready. I came here recently and tried a bunch of different plates off their menu. I have no Idea what everyone is talking about but this was NOT good at all. Maybe I was spoiled with plenty of good Chinese food in Chicago but I came here with high hopes based on the reviews and ended up tossing out 40+ dollars of Chinese take out when I got home. i've been to Hong Kong a few times & this place is a gold mine! The vegetables are always crunchy and fresh. The food is freshly made and piping hot when served. The lunch special comes with your choice of soup and an eggroll. The dishes are never salty or greasy. Ambience is ok, but the food (in taste and quality) is excellent! read more

I've been going here for a while now and they have some of the best chinese food in the area. Their seafood soup I sometimes go there just for that if I'm not feeling something too heavy. Gramps was in the mood for Chinese pork noodles so I loaded up Yelp and found a place in the area that had it on the menu. We went mid-afternoon so the place was pretty empty. The restaurant was clean and and the food was pretty good. While we were there, you could see the staff hand rolling the egg rolls. The menu is pretty extensive and can be found online. I'm guessing Grandpa will be wanting to come back to this place since pork noodles are one of his favorite foods. read more

My family goes here quite often, the hot and sour soup is amazing and would go just for that. Service is fast, happy, and professional - even if it is hard to understand them. The estabishment is clean and always super quiet, but they are very nice and accomidating about my sometimes not quiet three children. My grandmother has celiac ( is a celiac?) and they can make almost anything gf and are happy to do so. It is standard Americanized Chinese, but made fresh and done well. I have no clue how this place is rated 4 stars. First off, the service was down right horrible. It took 10 min for the waiter to even come to us and there were only 2 other families there. All 5 of us sat without a drink for nearly 15 minutes during the meal. The orange chicken was revolting. Don't say I didn't warn you. The 'fried wontons' aren't any better. The crab wontons were good as was the fried rice. So if you're ordering to-go, maybe stick with just that. Go elsewhere. Period. It's just not worth it. read more

Unfortunately the food did not come close to my expectations. Dragon is rated fairly high (4.4) so I thought that it would be a good place to try. We ordered orange chicken, lemon chicken, moo shoo pork, and pan fried veggie noodles. The best out of all of them was the orange chicken, but in all honesty Panda Express has orange chicken that is better. The lemon chicken was very strange. It is almost like they took leftover week old chicken and battered it very heavily before frying it and soaking it in some vaguely lemon sugar syrup. It was AWFUL. The "pan fried" vegetable noodles was seriously just like the canned La Choy Chow Mein with some added canned mushrooms poured over mushy nooles. It was really bad. It wasn't even a great deal. While in town to ski at snowbasin, we needed a place to eat on Christmas Eve and with so few places open we stumbled upon this lovely restaurant, and we were very pleasantly surprised, the food was very good , the three of us each had a dinner combination and it was a great bang for our buck. My boyfriend and I were both hungry and thought lets take a look around online and see if we can find a good Chinese place to eat at. We read the reviews on yelp and noticed that there were quite a few 4 and 5 star reviews and a few 1 stars and thought why not and headed out to go eat there. The lunch special prices seemed reasonable ($5.50) so we ordered a dragon special (the special of the restaurant) as a lunch special. After delivering our soup the waitress stated that unfortunately they do not offer the dragon special as a lunch special only dinner even though it had a listed price for a lunch special on their specials menu. Not wanting to be fickle over a few dollars we said go ahead and give us the dinner special. When it arrived it looked just like the picture. Upon trying it however it was very bland with hardly any seasonings or sauce. We both tried a bite of everything and the only thing that was even remotely okay was the egg-roll. I have never sent anything back before and after conferring with my boyfriend we decided we would let the waitress know. When the waitress walked by again we politely informed her that everything was bland and we didn't like it and we wanted to send it back and either get something else or a refund even offering to pay for what we actually did eat (the egg-roll and the starting soup). She then said she would go get the cook and we explained the same thing to her when she arrived. They stated that we would have to pay for it because they "are just going to have to throw out just like us". Never once was an apology given for the inadequate food. We then asked for something else to which she said that we would have to pay for that item too and there was no exchanges. After debating about it for a few minutes with the rude cook/manager we agreed to just pay for it and leave. I will not be returning. The Scoop and Go fast food Chinese food tastes better than this. Save your money and go somewhere else. Poor food can be fixed poor customer service is inexcusable. read more

I have frequented this restaurant for years. I ordered a meal that I did not like. I spoke to the waiter about it. Needless to say, I was required to pay for the meal. They offered to allow me to get another meal for the same price after I was at the counter to pay; why didn't they offer this when I was at the table and could have enjoyed something else? My wife enjoyed her meal so I ordered another of hers. I asked to talk to the lady that I have known for years that now works in the kitchen. The waiter told me she was too busy to talk to me. I ordered sesame beef combo and the beef tasted slightly like vinegar and definitely a bit rancid. The fried rice was very bland, the egg roll was dripping with grease and the shrimp also lacked any flavor... if it weren't for the tail I wouldn't have known I was eating shrimp. My friend ordered sweet and sour chicken and said the same thing about his dish, that it was mostly flavorless but at least his was edible. I ate two pieces of the meat and he tried a piece of mine as well and said the same thing. What was ridiculous is that the waiter didn't get the manager, still billed me even though I barely touched the meal. When I was asked by the cashier how the meal was, I told her and she said "oh I wouldn't have ordered that". Really? You say that about your own food and yet you still charge people for these dishes. Lesson learned and $25 wasted. I'm shocked they have the reviews that they do. It was without a doubt the worst Chinese food me or my friend ever had. read more
