Szechuan Beef
Rei B.

We ordered our food for take out. We got the salt and pepper pork chops, beef chowfun, cheese fried wontons, paper wrapped chicken, Szechuan style beef, and potstickers. Our sauce for the Szechuan beef was placed in a separate container, which I appreciated so that our food didn't get soggy when we got home to eat it. The food was made fresh and packed nicely, and was still hot when we got home. The pork chops were crispy and full of flavor! Loved the crunch of the cheese fried wontons, the paper wrapped chicken was tender and melted in your mouth! They made the perfect appetizers. My kids devoured the potstickers, and the chowfun was delectable and paired well with the main dishes. The star for me was the Szechuan beef, the beef was super crispy and had great texture! The sauce was seasoned to perfection and packed so much flavor! Definitely coming back to try more!!

The metal in my soup, thank God I saw it.

We ordered Dinner domination chicken lomaine and dinner combination kung pao chicken, for pick up. We ased for them to cook our vegetables well done and they were almost raw, When we got home i started eating my eggdrop soup and there was a piece of a metal pan scubber about two and a half inches long in my soup, And when we called to complain about it , they told us they would give us a complimentary egg drop soup. WTF is that is supposed to make up for it?! Also the food was all colorless and bland, a total flavor desert. Never going there again, they can keep the soup.

NOT sesame chicken.

First timer here for a carry out. It was nice that they're open on Sunday as many restaurants aren't. That's about the only good I cay other than the prices weren't horrible. But the portions were tiny. Shrinkflation at its finest. The hot & sour soup was boring and bland as was the food. I ordered the Mongolian beef, spicy, combo meal. Came not spicy at all. Ordered sesame chicken for the wife, they instead gave me some kind of breaded fried chicken-like meat. Again, very bland. Spring roll appetizer was okay but very tiny.

Orange chicken

Definitely not a place I'll return to. The main dining area was freezing so we were directed to the back room. It was such a run down building and we were freezing the whole time. I ordered orange chicken and hot and sour soup. My soup was so cold when it came out that I almost didn't eat it. Then came the main dish. The fried rice was delicious but the orange chicken left a lot to be desired. It was a weird yellow color which did not present well on the off white dish with the dim lighting. It was so sickening sweet that it was hard to eat, I felt like I ordered food at a carnival because it just tasted like sweet fried junk. The only saving grace here is the wonderful staff. They were so friendly and welcoming.

The service was very friendly, but the food was kind of mediocre, so the balance of * * food and * * * * service made the experience "okay" There was not specific dish that was great, let alone good, and we did "family style" ordering many different dishes. Here's our disclaimer 'tho. We're from California in the metropolitan cities of Los Angeles and San Francisco which are urban hubs for Asian and Chinese food. I'm not sure if Dragon Restaurant and the community in Utah have different tastes or lack peer competition to compare to. The food here might be an acquired taste. I thought the owners were Pacific Islanders, so maybe this is Chinese APA fusion making it not necessarily strict Cantonese nor Mandarin by taste and ingredients. Parking is easy. Again, the service was friendly and staff were really nice, so there's an A for Effort feel in our experience.

I can't believe that I've encountered great Chinese food in Ogden that didn't cost me as much as the gas to get there. A dinner combo runs just over $10 and includes soup, egg roll, fried shrimp, fried rice, and your choice of entree. I left completely stuffed. Can't wait to go back.

Spicy Garlic Chicken lunch w/ H&S soup

OK, there is absolutely NOTHING I disliked about my curbside pickup lunch during the pandemic. It's been a while since I visited, I've been so focused on "spreading the love," but I realize I've been missing out. Called in order for a lunch special and went out of my comfort zone with Spicy Garlic Chicken w/ham fried rice, an eggroll and soup - I told them surprise me and choose soup for me. Told me 15 min. I pulled up to the side of the restaurant, called, and they were out in a flash - mask & gloves on, food in hand. Took my credit card and came back in under a minute for signature. Young man was very friendly, cheerful. Portion size was perfect, hot & sour soup better than most, and the spicy and the garlic not overwhelming on the main course. Loved the veggies in this dish - actually made celery taste good. I used very little soy sauce which is always a plus. $6.50 Show this restaurant some love - they've earned it!

Waitress surprises you like... Which, ours was a young lady and INCREDIBLY sweet!

Most definitely one of the best Chinese restaurants I've ever been to. The girlfriend and I stopped on our way from Montana to San Diego in Ogden and it was a highlight of our whole trip. Maria made the experience so much better, we asked for her favorite dish along with two we chose. Her Chow fun Dragon Style was soooooo good. Like. Ridiculous. We also got Tangerine Beef and Shrimp Ball Hot Pot, per recommendation from the sweet lady at Comfort Inn. Any time we stop here for our halfway trip, we will definitely be coming back. Maria was fast, extremely sweet and was very personable. Thank you guys so much! We brought the leftover Shrimp Ball Hot Pot to the front desk lady and she was SO appreciative. I wish I would have bought one for her next trip to surprise her.

Mongolian Beef - mild and savory. I'll request to make it spicy next time. I love me some spicy beef.

I've brought friends and family in from SF and Hawaii, and they loved it. I love everything I've had on the menu thus far.

Excellent food and good service make this my favorite Chinese place in town. The ambiance feels like a Quentin Tarantino movie set.

Ok. Got our stomachs full, but not incredible. General Tso's was pretty good, orange chicken tasted like bland donuts.

Service - it's serve yourself but the staff always kept the food fresh, this one time I saw a worker throw away a full tray of food away because they said it was getting old and they have a fresh one coming out so not to worry. Ambiance- nice.

It just opened and should have been nice and fresh. They had protective plexiglass between the customers and the server/food line. The server was friendly and efficient at processing the orders. I was behind a family of 4 ordering multiple items when seemed to go fairly fast. I ordered the Orange Chicken and the Mushroom Chicken with half lo mein and half fried rice. The rice and noodles were cooked well and had good moisture. The mushroom chicken was dark meat chicken with a good sauce over all the veggies/meat. The orange chicken was a bit disappointing. It was overcooked, and mostly breading. Some of the pieces were so hard, I couldn't eat them. It was also super greasy and gave me a bit of a tummy ache after eating it. I would recommend avoiding the orange chicken if you eat here because the other menu items were much better.
